Frog Holler Cabins & Wine Tours

My husband and I stayed in the Papa John's cabin over Christmas weekend. The cabin is absolutely immaculate with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing in front of the cozy fireplace, not to mention the hot tub, which was a great way to wind down at the end of a busy day. The location of Frog Holler is perfectly centered for visiting an impressive array of vineyards! I highly recommend Hidden Vineyards. Their wine is amazing and the owners will make you feel like a part of the family. So definitely put this vineyard on your must-do list! We did not do the Frog Holler wine tour bus but we will next time, when we come back with our friends! Thank you Frog Holler! I'm already planning our next visit!

WINE TOUR ONLY: My sisters and girl friends had a wonderful experience with Teresa our wine tour driver. We went to 4 wineries and that was MORE than enough, for us. Teresa picked us up at our AirBnB (Kapps Mill Estate) and the 6 hour adventure began! Teresa was so helpful and chill making sure we had plenty of time to get to our next destination - we never felt rushed at all. Our favorite stops were Shelton Vineyards where we had lunch at Harvest Grill and Carolina Heritage. Thank you so much! we’ll be back 100%

My wife and I did the wine tour and it was amazing! Great conversation and knowledge of the area and the wineries that were picked for us were exactly what we wanted. Could not recommend more!

One of my most favorite vacation. Perfect place to just be still. We did hike to see some water falls and went to Stone mountain on the way home. Other then that my husband and I relaxed. Cooked together in the full kitchen, I took in the crisp air and view from the hot tub and just enjoyed each other with out distractions of home. Can't wait to go back. We went in April Perfect weather warm in the day enough to enjoy hiking and cool enough to use the fire place in the evening.

We had a wonderful experience with Frog Holler Wine Tours. We booked a tour with another couple of friends, and Frog Holler sent us lots of suggestions for tours encompassing combinations of four wineries over the course of an afternoon. Anna picked us up (and dropped us back off) right at our bed and breakfast, and was able to accommodate all of our needs. She even rearranged the order of the visits to make the perfect trip for us. Anna is also very knowledgable about the area and the processes used by each of the wineries. This is a fantastic way to do a Yadkin Valley vineyard tour and not have to worry about the driving!

Frog Holler has become one of our favorite getaway locations! We just got home from our second stay and could not have been more pleased. The cabins are immaculate and super private. Listening to the river from the hot tub just can’t be beat. They also went out of their way to supply us with a grill even though they already offer full kitchens! We love walking the trail around the property and crossing the river for a glass of wine at the winery. If you’re looking for an amazing getaway this is 100% what you are looking for. We will be back soon!

These cabins are a perfect getaway spot to stay at. Each one is unique. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, cooking our own meals and daily adventures in the be area. We stayed in The Hawks Nest and would definitely return.

A must to stay and a must to experience NC wines. We stayed in Deer Run and it was secluded and provided an amazing escape from everything. If you are going on a wine tour I highly recommend them. If you want to experience NC wine this is the best way to safely do it.

We had a fantastic stay in our little cabin. Perfect size for my wife and I to get away for a few days. We had everything we needed and didn’t even leave the cabin except for a walk around the grounds the first day. Well stocked kitchen, nice hot tub on a private deck. Great little out of the way spot at an affordable price.

This is one of the best places I've stayed. It was extremely clean & very confortable. The fireplace, the super comfy bed was the perfect way to relax & get away for the weekend! The cabins are very private & the sound of the creek is amazing. I will tell my friends & family about how great my stay was. I would recommend this place to anyone. I stayed in the Hawks Nest.

Simply amazing, nature's paradise with all the amenities for comfort and some much needed r&r !!! My wife and i stayed a night at frog holler cabins and had a wonderful stay to say the least. The cabin was beautifully decorated, had everything necessary for a comfortable stay , close to many restaurants if you didnt want to just stay there and cook a good meal for which they had everything needed for that as well,the hot tub on the back deck was great for relaxing while listening to the river that is literally only yards away, having coffee on the decks sitting area with amazing views , sounds of nature surrounding you, it is a nature's paradise with all the amenities for comfort ! the owner is great , responds quickly, very friendly and accommodating and i will definitely be staying again very soon, i have already referred my mom there and will refer my other friends and family that are in need of some r&r as well ! I cannot say enough good about this place. We stayed this past weekend and it was simply amazing!! The cabin more than exceeded expectations. It was clean, perfect size, beautiful view and very private. We had a massage right in the cabin that was wonderful. We can't wait to go back!

It was a last minute decision to try and get away. They had a cancellation and so we went. It was wonderful hearing the rain on the tin roof. The cabin was beautiful and just perfect. The hot tub helped too! It was quiet and just what we needed to relax.

My husband and I took a quick trip to Frog Holler Cabins for our 5 year wedding anniversary (june 3-5th) . Wow is all I can say... What an awesome experience! We stayed in Deer Run Cabin and it exceeded every expectation we had! Such a quaint and peaceful place to relax, whether down by the river, sitting on the back deck and talking or just relaxing in the hot tub. We both agreed it was almost better than our honeymoon! We visited Elkin Creek Vineyard on Saturday which was really fun but mostly we just relaxed and hung out at our little slice of heaven for the weekend. I can't say enough great things about this place and I'm already ready to come back!! Wonderful place to just get away and relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hope to be back in the fall or winter :)

Our wine tour with Family and Friends was just incredible. Anna was a wonderful driver, tour guide and was a lot of fun to talk to. We highly recommend this tour company and will definitely use it again.

Our weekend getaway was an absolute delight at Frog Holler. We could not have chosen a better location for our anniversary weekend. The business emphasizes privacy, which provides the illusion of getting away to your own little cabin, but when we needed help finding the place, they were available immediately. The bed was comfortable, the view was spectacular, and the hot tub was the pièce de résistance. I can hardly wait to book our next stay.

My husband and I just returned home from a mini getaway at frog holler cabins. We stayed in the Mill House cabin with our furbaby Nova..Couldnt have been more happy with the accomadations and hospitality.. 5 stars plus!! .Thank you for a wonderful couple of days!! We will be back😁

We had a WONDERFUL TIME at Frog Holler. They staff was very attentive and the cabin was a great place to stay. Located in the midst of wine country. Great places to eat nearby and the wine tour they offer was great as well. Looking for a get away this is the place!!!!

LOVE, LIVE, LOVE FROG HOLLER !!
We've stayed there 3 times and LOVE IT !!
Don't just look at life through windows, get out and explore, we love holding hands walking along the creek behind the cabins, we love the picturesque winery just across the creek and their swings around the camp fire 10' from the creek, love Elkin and LOVE what the Mountains to Sea Trail aka MST has to offer.
We were the first official hikers to see Carter Falls just around the corner from Frog Holler, there's breweries and the downtown conference building used to be a cotton mill, just so much to see and do !!
