I absolutely love what the new owners have done to this place! Staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. And they have a lot more stuff in there than you would think a small town local hardware store would have.

This place has everything! I was glad to see several women working. This makes the hardware, lawn and garden store experience less intimidating. There was a steady flow of customers for a Saturday and some of the best customer service I've experienced. Definitely worth going a little out of your way to avoid the "big box" experience. Great local business. Looking forward to my next visit.

Didn't have time today to roam around. Will definitely go back & see everything. I'm especially grateful that a lot of screws/ bolts & other hardware can be bought in singular units.

What an awesome hardware store. The women working there knew EXACTLY where everything was. We were surprised at how much they carried being a small town store. Even more of a surprise is the prices weren't inflated because of convenience.

Wonderful hardware store for our small town. He has most anything you’ll need. Their plants and gardening supplies are top notch.

The selection of merchandise here is immense! The employees here are so nice and helpful. They didn't have a specialized tool I was looking for, but was going to order one to have for their already impressive stock of supplies. A delightful place to shop.

Great place. I know the owner. Good guy. Real professional. It's a well known community go to. Prices are sometimes a little steep depending on what it is. whatever you don't say the 4 letter f word he doesn't like it. But other than being a well running business and not a charity. No complaints. I recommend anyone who had a toilet explode or firecrackers down the plumbing pipe to check in with mr.white before taking a 30min ride to the next big home improvement franchise

In their store almost every other day.....Maurice knows his products & there is no time wasted.....the boss, his wife, is a gem & always smiling (not sure of that since she wear a mask, but her eyes show smiling.) She is also knowledgeable.....going their today for some paint......highly recommend them.

It's no longer old Maurice whites hardware. ☹ To be completely honest the hardware store knows its the only option you got unless you intend on making a trip to greenwood augusta or Abbeville. Which is about 30- 45mins worth of driving to our 26-40 miles. And knowing that. They are certain to take full advantage of that in their pricing. Yet still Mr, white was the main reason I would stop in and burn the money. Just to see Ole Mr white. Might be slightly overpriced but still worth making Mr. White have to put up with my axx for a extended period of time each and every time I decide to wander the isles of what was whites hardware. Now it's owned by Mr Thompson who seems like a reasonable and kind fella and I'm sure he will keep the old hardware store a hometown crisis or emergency repair parts go to

We've had great success finding what we needed. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about what they have in stock.
