Just stayed for two nights with my husband and two kids. We had a great time! The inn is very well-kept. Rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and filled with history. The beds were ridiculously comfortable as well. The staff were friendly and made you feel right at home. We enjoyed walking Main Street and grabbing coffee right across the street (literally a few steps), and we all agreed we’d love to come back again. The only reason I gave location a 4 instead of 5 was that it’s a bit noisy at night with motorcycles and such, but that’s nothing that the inn can help.

In down town rogersville. This is my go to hotel to stay. Historical building with amazing touches in each room. Awesome prices, and the staff are friendly and crazy helpful. Restaurant on the main floor with great food and drinks. I recommend it to everyone visiting the area!

A Timeless Retreat in Rogersville: Hale Springs Inn

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Hale Springs Inn in Rogersville, TN, multiple times when visiting my mother, and each stay feels like a delightful step back in time. The inn has maintained its historic charm with meticulous care, making it our preferred choice whenever we're in town.

The rooms at Hale Springs Inn are a testament to preservation and attention to detail. The old plank floors exude character, and the large windows allow natural light to fill the space. The rooms are adorned with gorgeous brass chandeliers, original fireplaces, and an impressive collection of antiques, creating an atmosphere that transports you to a bygone era. The commitment to keeping everything in amazing condition is evident, and it adds a unique touch to the overall experience.

One of the highlights of our stays has been the delightful dining experience at the inn's restaurant. The friendly service provided by the staff enhances the warm ambiance, making us feel genuinely welcome. The menu boasts a selection of delectable dishes, and we've consistently enjoyed great food during our visits. Whether it's a hearty breakfast or a romantic dinner, the restaurant at Hale Springs Inn has never disappointed.

In conclusion, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when we visit Rogersville. Hale Springs Inn offers a charming retreat that combines historical elegance with modern comfort. The dedication to preserving the inn's unique character, coupled with the excellent service and delicious dining options, makes it a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable and timeless experience in this quaint Tennessee town.

Beautiful historic hotel located in Rogersville, which is a lovely and scenic area. We were able to see most of the rooms since almost everyone was checked out already. All were well maintained, clean, and beautifully decorated. The floors are a bit uneven in places, which is common for 200 year old buildings. You just have to watch your step occasionally due to a slight slope or rise with the floorboards. They do have an elevator that goes to the 2nd floor rooms. It also has a restaurant onsite that has an impressive menu. It appears to only be open for dinner, but there's a coffee shop just a few steps outside the front door and across the street. Can't wait to come back!

A 200 year old restaurant/hotel. Has so much of its ole character and charm. Food was fantastic... Atmosphere perfect. We will be going back.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was one of the best buffets I ever enjoyed. Can't wait to go back and try their regular menu meals.

Amazing place. Old time feel with modern amenities. Super nice staff, awesome food and drinks. The only issue is that it's located on a busy city street frequented by cars and motorcycles. Other than a little noise, it was one of our favorite overnight stays.

Wonderful place out of history to visit and stay. Absolutely fantastic staff that will go out of their way to help you with anything. You could spend all day checking out this historical building and highly recommend dining there as well. Delicious food with large portions, so come hungry. The only thing I could really see needing an improvement would be the continental breakfast. Maybe I was expecting more, but didn't seem like a large selection. But that will not stop me from returning!

What an amazing piece of history. I did not stay at the hotel, but my friend Marcus had and loved it. Marcus and I were in the area and the sweet woman that was in charge let Marcus give me a tour. Wow. The hotel is now on my bucket list to stay at when my wife and I plan a vacation in the area. Thankyou for your hospitality and kindness.

We stayed here in 2016 and had the Netherlands-Brown Room. It was large with two chairs and a fireplace. Felt like we had gone back in time with all the antiques. Lovely, quaint inn with a ton of history.

We stayed here again in 2019 in the Andrew Jackson Suite. It actually had two bedrooms. We didn't need all that space but it was great to have. The rooms all have a character of their own. Beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly, food was good.

We have reserved the Rogan Room for this October. I am so excited! Book a little time here. Head out to River Place and have a sandwich on the Clinch River. See where Davy Crocket's grandparents are buried in town. Take a drive through the hills and see all the barns with quilts painted on them. Have an ice cream cone on Main St. Walk around town and see all the lovely history in the different buildings. It's a wonderful step back in time. I love Rogersville, TN and Hale Springs Inn!

Ate at Tavern during a cruise in. Waitress was very friendly, courteous, and attentive! My Rime rib was great, and my drink was kept full. And that was with us sitting under the shade tree in the courtyard - not in the dining room.

Incredible food. Pork and chicken so tender it melted in your mouth. Decadent chocolate cake. Parking a little difficult.

My wife and I spent a night here in early February 2023. We ate at McKinney tavern (the restaurant on the first floor) and stayed in the Molly Gray Room on the second floor. The room was nice, with lots of antique furnishings. At the restaurant, we had the pork medallions and the strawberry salad. Both were delicious!

Beautiful historic hotel. Past Presidents and others have stayed here. They have done an awesome job of preserving the history of these rooms. Nice dinning on premises. Enjoy and nice walk on the historic street in front and grab a cup of coffee just steps away from the front door at the coffee shop directly across the street.
