Tuscan Slice

THE FOOD HERE IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD. The surroundings have a very vintage Italian look (obviously), and the service is great. I got the Shrimp Gnochhi and if I had 100 million thumbs they would all be up. This restaurant is life changing and a great experience for anybody.

P.S., get the Pepperoni Rolls as a starter, they are the OWNER'S favorite (he/she is completely right)

Once again, Tuscan Slice blows my mind. Today their chef Garrett made me the surf and turf. I rediscovered my faith in God while eating it. It was cooked perfectly. I could have cut it with a fork it was so tender. Every single thing on my plate was flawlessly prepared, fresh and deliciously blended. Preston as always was a 10/10 server. If you have a date, anniversary or special occasion, this is the place for you. It's worth every penny.

One of my favorite to take friends and family for Italian food in Waxahachie. The food and cocktails are fabulous!! My favorite dish is the Wagyu and risotto... Of course the pizzas and pastas are awesome too!
Go to cocktails are their Lemoncello and French Martinis.. Both absolutely refreshing!! Owners are super sweet and will always say hi when they can. Highly recommend checking them out. ❤

Very good food with attentive service. Our extended family all meet there every couple years. They have a side room that sits about twenty that we use. Reservations were simple. We will be back. I had the three pastas with cheese sauce. Flavors were point on and not overpowering. Did not have room to try a dessert. Went back again and lived my dish. Plenty to eat as well.

My family and I love Tuscan Slice. The staff and service has been exceptional. The owner, Jonathan visited our table and made food recommendations that brought us back two more times in a week and a half. We ask staff to provide us recommendations for food and drink and have been more than pleased with each dish. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It is evident that much thought and detail went into the restaurant. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are far out of Waxahachie.

A great find on our way to scream park! Absolutely delicious and outstanding service. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Could have used a few tuscan chandeliers in the main dining room though. So many of the make servers had the same look I was just waiting on them to break out the song and jump on the bar and sing....Bye bye bye.

The best wood-fired pizza in town!
Went in around 3 pm for an early dinner, ordered a medium pizza and the wood-fired spinach artichoke dip. Friendly waitstaff and warm environment! Will have to come back!

We loved our meal at Tuscan Slice! We had great service and great food at a reasonable price!! We didn't have to wait for a seat either!!

My son and his family came to take me to dinner, we could not have picked a better place, everything was amazing!!!! We loved everything! Thank you! Our server Cheyenne i think thats how you spell it was awesome too.

My wife and I had lunch here recently and it was a great experience. Like almost all the restaurants we go to these days, a "help wanted" sign was in the window. Any doubts I had about our service being effected due to the restaurant being short-staffed, quickly went away.

Our waiter, Trevor, was very professional, helpful and observant. The bread was served and it was really good. I wanted to eat more but I had a panini on the way. The food arrived and I was impressed with the freshness of the bread, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. Could have had a bit more chicken in it.

There were several other items here we want to try and we look forward to our return trip here. I would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

As soon as you walk through the front doors you are smacked in the face with an Italian spice aroma of garlic, basil, and oregano. You don't experience that in big box commercial restaurants. Tuscan Slice is a big and rustic (also quirky) Italian restaurant with 2 wood burning ovens. There is an open area where the bigger oven and the cooks are on display. You can see the freshly made dough and fresh ingredients being used on the dishes. We sat near the bar where a smaller oven is operated and saw a pizza being made by having the dough stretched and tossed in the air. My kids had a blast witnessing this. The kid's menu has a "Build Your Own Pizza" option and my son tried it. He was brought a pizza pan with a ball of dough, a small rolling pin and his ingredients of choice. He had so much fun making his pizza and then walked it over to the big oven counter where he saw them place it into the fired up oven to cook. He was amazed! They even gave him a mini ball of dough to play at the table with while he waited for his pizza to cook. He can't wait to come back! We ordered Lasagna (baked in the wood burning oven - and delish!) and Chicken Piccata. You could actually taste the lemons! My daughter had spaghetti with meat sauce but kept eating my dish, but also didn't want to share hers because she said she was still going to eat it LOL When my son's pizza got there he said the taste made him close his eyes when he bit into it. He said it was that good. We met one of the workers (very friendly man who gave us a mini tour and a quick history of the place). He also brought over the owner who introduced himself to us and gave us some insight on how they can accommodate parties of up to 100 with their own private section and catered menu (The place is THAT big). He was very kind and patient with us and even handed my kids a coupon for them to bring a friend so they could all make pizzas together. They even offer a mobile wood burning oven for pizza parties at your location! How neat! This was a great experience and I love the concept of the authentic pizza parties. Try them out. We can't wait to go back.

Visiting from Austin with my fiancé for a wedding and wanted some italian food. The chicken parmesan was amazing and the chicken spinach manicotti was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was great and super sweet. The only problem I had was the size of my stomach because I wanted to try everything! Will definitely need to make a trip back in the near future!

Or meal was lovely. Seafood manicotti and an Italian Meats pizza with gluten free crust. Everything was perfect and we got cannolis to go.

Been going to Tuscan Slice since we moved to the area about 2.5yrs ago. Always amazing food…. Sometimes too busy for my personal taste but there is a reason they are busy.

Was just there on Sunday night for dinner. Had a great waitress, Cheyenne, and an amazing meal. It was super mellow that night which is even better for me. I hate crowds. Perfect experience.

My husband and I wanted Italian and we found this place! I’m so happy that we tried it. It’s our new favorite place! so good! our bartender was beautiful inside and out and so attentive. we will be back!

We wanted to try this Italian place and have to say it is delicious. We started off with some good ole cheese sticks. Then with some bread. Then our main dishes of course, lasagna and chicken alfredo. The dishes were amazing and the restaurant was real nice. The waiter with his very positive attitude just topped the night off real nice. Thank you for a good time and the Tuscan Slice.

The service is great, Food was served Hot n fresh. The wine paired well with the dishes. High on my list of great Italian restaurants true to their Italian roots. No cookie cutter fast food but a delicious encounter of Tuscany style.

This was our first time out since having our baby, the food was amazing, very authentic. Our server Jason was amazing. His service made our whole experience memorable. We will definitely be back!

This place was amazing. From the decor to the food, drinks, and service. I ordered sangria margarita was very quenching. Their bread is wonderful. This will be a new stop for us when we Waxahachie
