When I go to this restaurant,I am always excited 😊. Why, you may ask, well because of the hot and delicious rolls, they serve you with butter before you get your meal. They have one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever eaten. The staff there is always friendly and smiling 😃. The price is pretty reasonable also. You will want to go back there again, just to smell the bread. Makes my heart sing with aroma pleasure. Definitely getting 5 stars all the way.

Nice place. Clean and good atmosphere. People are awsome. Miya the waitress was just the right amount of attentiveness and frendly. MC the line cook did a great job. The food was great. Rolls were nice. The fried mushrooms were great. And for the main course chicken fried Brisket! It was still moist and flavorful even after frying. The gravy was great. The mash and broccoli casserole where perfect matches. Will definetly go again.

I loved this little place!! Never even heard of it until I visited my friend last month! Very cozy atmosphere and the staff was super friendly! I ordered the Smoked Brisket Street Tacos and omgosh why have I never had brisket on tacos before?!?! Talk about brilliant!! I really wish we had a cotton Patch where I lived in Georgia so I could get more of these!! If you have never been here please make the time to stop and eat here! You won't regret it!

I came here to have a nice lunch by myself to celebrate turning 39. I sat at the bar and that us an experience in itself. It was neat to see the back of house and front of house interact seamlessly. I didn't expect to be treated so well. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the service was exceptional. I can't talk enough about the food and that Dr. Pepper cake was AMAZING!!! My server/bartender Chantel was so personable. She made my experience that much more enjoyable. I will be back!

I ordered take-out because I’m sick, so my husband picked up Chicken & Dumplings. My neighbors said The Cotton Patch has the best in town. They were right! It was so generous; the best I ever had. Thank You.

While visiting my parent in Red Oak we went here for lunch in Waxahachie. The Country fried chicken was amazing. And the service was excellent. Our server Lindsey was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stop by again

So many options for this restaurant. Good for vegetarians, pescatarians, people who like beef or chicken. We used delivery and it was accurate and fast. This has become our favorite restaurant for delivery in our area.

I have not dined here, I’ve only done to-go. Well today I placed my order as I was in the parking lot, because it was an impulse decision when driving by. I placed my order for beef tips and specified “no mushrooms”. 30 seconds after placing my order, the restaurant called to let me know that the mushrooms were already in the sauce. I said “that’s ok” and figured I’d just pluck them out. Very nice and friendly staff btw. Here I am 25 minutes later after I darn near ate the container, mushrooms included. It was delicious and tender from start to finish. I am a texture eater so any other time mushrooms would make me gag. But I literally couldn’t care less with this meal! Great staff, my food was ready not even 10 minutes after I placed my order. Everything was hot and well- proportioned for $10. Will be coming back! ❤

I had the pleasure of being able to have Sheridan as my sever! She was pleasant, personalable, and very attentive to our group. She said she has only been working for about a month. I couldn't tell by the way she was handling tabke after table. She even offered to stay later as they were extremely busy!! Sheridan, you rock!! I would definitely hire you as an employee. Best to you!

Food and service is always great here. We've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a great lunch..Chipotle maple chicken..one of my faves here! Amy was our server..fantastic service..never once had to ask for drink refills & she brought more rolls w/out us even asking..Amy is great w/customers, very attentive & friendly!

I visited the Waxahachie restaurant and they received 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For service Hanna, Regan are excellent waitresses. Hanna is very attentive to her Customers. Food was excellent.

Our family, ravenous and a tad grumpy from the day, feared a long wait at this bustling restaurant. But, lo and behold, Tierra, the superhero of servers, whisked us to our table in a record-breaking 4 minutes. Wait, it gets better – mouthwatering rolls graced our table in another 2 minutes. That’s right, from car park to carb heaven in just 6 minutes!

Tierra wasn’t just fast; she was the epitome of kindness and efficiency. She navigated our table like a pro, ensuring we had everything we needed with a smile that could light up the room.

The food? Oh, it was the cherry on top of a delightful evening. Delicious as always, it left us nodding in culinary contentment.

In conclusion, if Tierra is the standard at Cotton Patch in Waxahachie, then they’re doing something magically right. Highly recommend for anyone craving a feast served with a side of smiles and efficiency!

Everything was great from the moment we walked in to be seated to when we left. Big shout out to our waitress Payton at the Waxahachie location. She was AMAZING from start to finish. Appetizer and salad with meal came out very quickly. Food was hot and great. She kept checking on us making sure we were okay, refills, etc and kept a smile on her face. She was GREAT. Keep being you! You’re doing awesome!

Had not been there in about a year, the food was better than I remember. The chicken fried steak was pretty good and the beer was cold!

I love Cotton Patch Cafe because of the food (and just the food) but this was the first time I've had an expectational experience with great service. Our waitress Candace (I apologize if I misspelled her name) was an absolute delight and the best! If you ever do training videos on what phenomenal service is, she should be chosen. That being said, the Chicken Fried Steak is my favorite and only meal I get there.

After a terrible experience at the one in Cedar Hill, we just wanted the fish so we came here. We lost over an hour plus travel time so it was later by the time we got here. Thanks to Chelsea and crew we were getting hot fresh food in less than 15 minutes after walking in. Even as closing time was near a couple of people walked in to a smile and greeting and being sat. It only takes a minute. it's even apart of the job. They did it when others wouldn't. Thank you because we have kids and it helped a lot not having to figure out junk food late at night after a long day.
