After being a member here for over 20 years, I still feel God’s presence and enjoy worship with our wonderful church family!

Spiritual teaching Bible based. Always positive atmosphere and Rev. Devaughn greets members and guests while exiting the services.

My husband and I have recently joined and we love the Spiritual atmosphere here!! Pastor DeVaughn always teaches and preaches the Word of God!! My husband and are waiting for the Ministry groups to open up so that new members can volunteer our time and talents for the Kingdom of God.

Pastor DeVaughn is authentic and straight by the “book”! He’s incomparable, very caring and loving, and down right the TRUTH! My spirit is fed and moved every encountered experience. He’s by the book and for the people, who can ask for more? I’m a PROUD member at Silverlake Church of Pearland, TX.

The line was wrapped around the building to go in to see Pastor Mike from Birmingham, Alabama, but swiftly got us in to see this powerful man of God sing and minister to the people. The church and its service was awesome till the end. Buy the CD IMPOSSIBLE. Every song will minister to you. Love the acoustic sound.

The pastor's message was on point. The greeters at the door were friendly.

I absolutely love this place. It truly is my sanctuary. The sermon never fails me. The pastor makes you feel comfortable and not judged. The staff and choir is amazing. It's a newly built medium-large size church with a nursery and teen section. You should definitely give them a chance.

This Church is Beautiful inside and out. The people were so very friendly. We had my cousin's funeral there.

Great pastor and first lady...really genuine people...great services too! Check it out for yourselves and you'll see...

Great church for their teaching the bible.

Attended 12 years ago, finally made it back..happy to return to see the new building. Was in planning stages when I left Tx for personal reasons. Choir/musicians awesome praise and worship. Rev. Vaughn keeps it real, gives you the spiritual food for spiritual healing and daily survival.. ends with the church belongs to God and not the people, which has a very deep meaning. Try Silvetlake you just might like it. 🙏🏽❤

I love my Pastor DeVaughn and the DeVaughn family. Pastor D, as so many in his flock call him, is so genuine and sincere. I believe that he truly cares for his flock. He knows his members by name and he and First Lady Geneva both make you feel “right at home” when you are there. Pastor D has guided me through some pretty hard times by way of his deliverance of the word of God. He and our first lady are devoted to the church and it’s people. I’d invite anyone looking for a family friendly church home to consider Silverlake. I love it!

This place has a very loving and welcoming atmosphere. If you need a word of encouragement, THIS is the place to be! I love it here!

My daughter and her family are members at Silver Lake. When my husband and I visit her we look forward to visiting Silver Lake. The Word of God is definitely being taught there!!! We Love it. We were just there a couple of weeks ago for spring break and we had the opportunity to attend noonday Bible Study with Pastor Paul it was amazing!! I promise you will not be disappointed!!

I attend Silverlake Community Church for the 50th Anniversary of the Southeast Inspirational Choir. The event was great, the church was beautiful and the people were friendly. I appreciate the little details that created a welcoming environment. This visit made me want to visit the church one Sunday. I would definitely recommend visiting or booking an event.
