Crowne Plaza Houston Galleria Area, an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The sales director, Andrea, helped me with my group booking and was so kind and personable. She is the reason we stayed here and will be back in the future. I was glad to work with this nice lady. The rooms are nice. Restaurant has good food and drinks. The lobby smells so wonderful when you entering the hotel. Highly recommend.

Fine stay! I've stayed at this location several times over the past few months, and never had any sort of serious issue! To the contrary, everyone I've ever interacted with has been professional and friendly, and quick to help with any issue I may have. Ni Made and Britney are the staff names that I remember, but everyone was always great. The rooms I've had were clean and well maintained. The location is ideal. The restaurant on-site is also quite good. All around a great time! Will definitely be staying here again.

The front desk is very professional and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. Just like any hotel room, it could use mire plugs for charging (the ones in the lamp won't stay plugged in they just fall out. Also, lighting could be better). The breakfast is what it is. Overall recommended

Nice quiet hotel. Service is top notch everywhere. Front desk was friendly and helpful, house keeping did a fine job, and the restaurant / bar people were attentive. The food was better than I expected.

We felt like valued guests the whole time we were there and wanted for nothing. Parking was free and close, an added bonus.

The decor is tasteful but presents an 80's hotel vibe. Some of the furniture in our room could have used a refresh and one of the seats in the dining room had some spots that should have been replaced or renewed. Overall we felt the rooms and hallways were just a tad too dark.

Our suite had a wetbar, microwave, and bar refrigerator that were clean and functional. There are many empty drawers and cabinets; I was hoping to find some glasses etc.

We faced the Katy freeway and had noise most of the night. It's expected at that location but still woke us up from time to time.

All in all it's value for our dollar and I would stay there again.

My family and I would like great quality of hospitality tha received from the hotel staff at this site on our last stay. I would especially like to send Kudos to Roderyck Maddison who delivered excellent customer service at what seemed to be a busy time. He remained courteous and professional which was remarkable. Definitely will be staying again.

My friends and I were there December 8th-10th on a girls trip from Florida.. This hotel is so beautiful and CLEAN!!!!! The staff was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing, helpful and friendly… I was able to get a late check out… I was thinking maybe 12 PM, but it was 2PM!! If I decide to go back to Houston, this will be the hotel I stay at… Thank you guys for making our stay so pleasant!

Had a weekend stay with the family. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were very friendly throughout the whole place. It was really hot in the hallways but that was expected with the heat from outside (100+ heat index) but it seemed like there was only one elevator working during the weekend which was the only draw back I could find. I'd definitely stay here again, right near the highway and you couldn't even hear it in the rooms.

My room was ready and waiting when I arrived. The room including bathroom was sparkling clean and the staff had the AC on already so it was cool and comfortable upon entry.

The mattress was perfectly firm and comfortable for me and the seating space in the room was great to wind down before bed. Functional mini fridge and Keurig made the stay easy and smooth.

Staff at front desk were multi tasking and problem solving when I was checking in. Everyone remained calm, kind, and helpful. If I have the chance to book a room in Houston again, this will top my list!

We live around the corner but we decided to book our stay for my daughter's Quinceañera celebration to make her weekend even more special. The place is massive! The lobby is beautiful filled with plenty of seating, a bar and dining area. Check in was very smooth and the receptionist was very friendly. when we arrived to our room we had no issues, everything was clean and organized. We had a view which was super exciting! The bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet, even though that weekend it was BUSY! I decided to get a drink at the bar and the drink was pretty good, the price is a bit steep but it was okay. On Saturday after we arrived at night from my daughter's birthday celebration it was extremely cold and we had a ton of gifts and bags and the receptionist lady helped us all the way to our room because she was in her big beautiful dress and she complimented her. That was very sweet to help. Check out was smooth and our stay was spectacular. We will be recommending everyone here!

I was staying for 2 days in this hotel. This lady, I think her name is Ni Made. She is has very excellent customer service. She was very helpful and understand what the guest want. She is a keeper. Five star for her 👍

Stayed here in the month of May 2023. Good rooms, well maintained property, good internet, good food and a nice bar. Walkable distance to Walmart. Great in room coffee machine. The room was booked by my company, not my choice, but overall the stay was good.

Hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and customer centric. The food quality at the restaurant was excellent for dinner. The bartender, Celmey, was not only skilled and professional in her service, but was very personable. I had the pleasure of also meeting the director of operations at this hotel and was very impressed by his dedication to meeting the needs of customers and ensuring my experience was nothing less than exceptional. If I come back to Houston again, I will absolutely be back here.

We stayed overnight so we didn't have to drive far for an evening out, the room was very clean, they had a complimentary giant cookie in the room, and a complimentary bottle of water. Had the breakfast and there was so much selection. Staff was extremely nice. 10/10 recommend this hotel.

The staff is great. Both front desk and housekeeping staff are as accommodating as they can be. I personally have had no problems with this hotel whatsoever.

Nick, was the agent that checked me in. He had the best hospitality and customer service I've seen in a while. He actually helped me choose which room would accommodate my family best. He was very patient and very knowledgeable of the property. The breakkfast was great as well. If you visit Houston, this would be a perfect place to stay!

We stayed one night here for a wedding. Got to the hotel about a half-hour before check-in and still had no problems checking in at all. We had a few requests during our stay (e.g TV remote batteries were dead, needed more coffee) and everything was handled very quickly. The bed was very comfy, and the room was plenty big enough. The views are not great, but I don't fault the hotel for what the city around it looks like.
Overall, great stay for the price.

Thee best hotel stay and staff EVER!!!!Sheila got us in and situated with prototype customer service. Then in the morning John was absolutely fabulous. Humberto took great care of us for breakfast. The room was clean, bed soft, water hot. #chefsKiss The breakfast was hot and so well needed for the staycay. We had the exact experience we needed to just chill and relax. THIS is the ONLY place we'll ever stay in Houston.

My stay was wonderful! Easy check in and Deirdre is fantastic! I had food delivered for dinner and the restaurant didn’t send me with any plastic ware and I called Deirdre and she got me hooked up and was so kind! The room was nice although needs some updates but I was not disappointed for the price I paid. I was a little sad that the pool wasn’t open but I understand why it has to be. The one thing I would change is to have continental breakfast! I know a lot
of hotels are offering breakfast delivered to your door and I would have highly preferred that than to have to go off-site for breakfast. They do have a little area where you can purchase breakfast items but things not so appealing to me. Other than that my stay was awesome and if I ever need a hotel again I know where to go!

After a few months I felt the need to reevaluate my original review. This team went from a 4 star to a 5 star. Exceptional service from the minute you walk in. The lobby and front desk are built to impress anyone. The clean atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for when you need a home away from home. You can tell a lot about a hotel from their bathrooms. And although I would never suggest taking food into a restroom, I might make an exception here. My hat goes off to the cleaning crew at this location. I've never once been disappointed and id like to apologize for providing a substandard 4 star originally. Great job team and keep up the good work. You've certainly earned my business for a very long time!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during the week in order to attend a conference. The room was spacious and clean. There were no odors, moldy smells or dampness at all. The AC/heater unit was the best I had experienced at any hotel. It could be controlled from a thermostat on the wall or directly at the unit and it only took a few minutes for changes in temperature to be noticed. My room had a comfortable king-size bed with very nice plush pillows. Hotel staff was attentive and I had access to free WiFi. Overall a great stay for a reasonable price!
