Celebrity Cafe and Bakery

Take it with a grain of salt, because I'm not from the south, but I ate the best biscuits and gravy that I've ever had here today. The biscuits were fresh, had a little toast to them and were delicious. Their side potatoes here shine even next to the mains. The waffle stack they served us was divine and the avocado toast was well beyond expectations. All for great prices!!

It's a small place, so you might have to wait, but it is well worth the wait. No decaf coffee, but that made me try their unsweet and sweet teas. Their staff were all kind and/or funny and were all bustin' their butts. You're a block away from the center of this super cute little historical town center with basically a castle in the middle!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is amazing and the staff is so incredibly friendly. My wife and I have made this place a Sunday tradition. There may be a wait but trust me it is so worth it. There is not another place like this anywhere around. We have tried everything on the menu and it is all so delicious! Don’t let the size of the location fool you, it may be small but the food is large in portions and flavor. Simply the best!

Really love the new space! There is plenty of seating available now. The food is always so good. This trip I tried the French toast and was not disappointed. I will be back for more delicious food in the near future. 10/10 recommend this place.

This spot is just what you need. It may look simple but the food is outstanding.

Had the Classic Breakfast- 2 eggs, bacon, biscuit, and rosemary potatoes. Rosemary potatoes are out of this world amazing. They alone are worth the trip. Homemade biscuits are split and toasted on the flat top. Bacon and over medium eggs perfectly.

Order at the counter then grab a table. You won’t regret it.

Came here with a group of 12 on Sunday am. We were greeted w a friendly smile! They put tables together and accommodated us w pleasure. The owner was amazing. The food was delicious with fast service. Thank you Celebrity Bakery for a wonderful experience.

We were visiting from Wichita, Ks. This place is AMAZING! Food was authentic, delicious and generous portions. They accommodated a special request. The owner mingled with all his customers at their table and was very engaging. There are not many establishments that have that personal touch. If you are down this way, make sure to stop and dine here. You won’t be disappointed.

The food…. The food was amazing. We had chicken and waffles and breakfast tacos. The chicken was breaded perfectly. Not thick, but super super flavorful. The waffle was huge and fluffy!!! The tortillas were fresh, the salsa was fresh, the eggs and potato’s were divine….

If I could eat this everyday I would. We are so excited to come back and try more things on the menu.

They ask you to order before you get a table and most places, this would turn into a nightmare. At celebrity, the owner manages the flow amazingly well and I always have a table long before my food gets to me.
As for the food quality, I can only speak to the lunch menu but breakfast is amazing. The brunch burger is delightful! Everything we've tried is so good!
Best of all, the owner is super sweet and Chatty with customers waiting in the lobby. He clearly cares about the food quality and guest experience.

Perfect experience for me! Grab a table when you walk in - then go up to order. I ordered ‘ the hand holder’ which was sourdough bread, ham, egg and ARUGULA! They had me at arugula. I ordered extra and my sandwich was fabulous. Not to mention the home fries. Crispy and fluffy!

First time going and the food was really good. The place is small and the seating is very limited. They want you to order first and then sit after. The place was real busy so we waited for a table while they cooked our food. I had the Wagyu club and it was delicious along with really good fries My wife had the steak sandwich and wouldn't stop talking about how good it was. Definitely going back

This place was absolutely amazing! I loved everything about the experience! The food was so delicious, I got the burrito, my wife got the waffles and we both got the cinnamon roll, Oreo cookie, and blueberry muffin to share. Everything was delicious and I can’t say that enough! I’ve never in my life tasted flavors that good! Will 100% come back and recommend to everyone!

I have found my new favorite place to eat breakfast in Waxahachie. I think it used to be the Court House Cafe.

The owner is the secret that makes this place a pleasant place to eat. He is very kind and friendly and takes great pride in the food and atmosphere. When my wife and I go there we fell welcome because he visits every table when he is not also preparing delicious meals for diners. I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal and top quality service.

Very delicious (custom made vegan style) avocado toast, fresh fruit, great customer service, warm atmosphere, & clean environment!

We had 4 in our group and ordered Breakfast Tacos, Belgium Waffles, Vegetarian Omelet and Steak Eggs, All were absolutely awesome! Only downside not much room, if more than 6 in your group I don't recommend, but they do have Doordash.

So happy we stopped in the food was very good. I had the Trio salad and my friend had the Blackened Chicken Wrap. We were both very happy and hers came with fries which were yummy.

This food was AMAZING! Forget IHOP! Even though it was too long of await for a seat we placed our order to go & unlike the other breakfast places the food stayed 💯 Warm!! Can't wait to actually dine in next time. 😊

Great lil restaurant. Food was fantastic as was service. You order your food then sit down and they bring it to you. All the servers were kind and helpful. The owner also came out and talked to patrons. Just a fantastic experience

Picture is taken halfway through the meal. It came out much more beautiful. Food was DELISHH. Husband got the pancake tacos which he loved, even the potatoes. I got the eggs Benedict with a side of gravy to dip my biscuit in. The Benedict was so good, their house made salsa was perfect and spicy, just how I like it. The gravy was good too, usually I’d have to add salt and pepper but they had theirs seasoned well and I didn’t have to add anything, not to mention the biscuit was clearly freshly made and it’s rare to find a place that has such a good menu options with their breads freshly made. 10/10 will be returning. Thanks for the great service!
There is still a slight gnat issue, a couple flying around the table but nothing concerning towards the food quality or service.
