Cafe Assisi

WOW! This place is a gem. Everything we got was incredible. Super fresh ingredients, full of flavor and scrumptious. The staff was also super friendly and nice and had fun keeping my toddler entertained the whole time. The menu is easy to understand and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Highly recommend! Me, my husband, and my father each got a seafood pasta entree, calamari as an appetizer, 2 tequila drinks on the rocks, and a second round of fresh bread and the bill was $110 before the tip. Really great quality food for a perfect price.

This place is a goldmine of Italian food goodness! Everything from apps to soup to salad to entree to desert was simply delicious and spot on! Lobster ravioli were some of the best I've ever had! Homemade pasta is something you MUST get as an extra to any pasta dish. The Italian Rum cake was a great finish to a spectacular meal! Absolutely loved this place!

Tried Lasagna. Very good, sweet tomatoes. Meatballs are soft with a phenomenal flavor. Nice sit down area inside.

My first time there but not my last! Food and service was phenomenal i like that the lunch menu is vastly different from the dinner menu so you can go twice a day. Our server was Jessica (her nsme started with a J), and she is the best server I have had in a LONG time.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and waitstaff amazing. We’ve ordered different dishes over multiple visits and every time it has been cooked perfectly and beyond great. Run, dont walk, to this gem.

Excellent authentic Italian food!! Cute bistro style dining with outdoor patio dining available as well. Everything was delicious!

Must say that this is one of my favorite places to have visited when we travelled to the Boston area. What a great hidden gem! The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. They went out of there way to make sure that our party of 8 was well taken care of.

The food was fantastic. There was nothing we ordered that wasn’t excellent. Our group favorite by far was the ENORMOUS calzones. Available in a variety of combinations and served with the best marinara that I have ever tasted.

Hats off to this delicious and well run establishment. We hope to visit again soon!

Love this spot and come often for various pasta. I would love them to have an al dente option. Even though they don’t have it the food is delicious and the staff is amazing.

I came here for a late lunch after shopping at the outlets with some family members. We called ahead to get a table set up for 6 and were seated quickly. The menu was large even for lunch with many delicious options. The portions were pretty large and all very good. The wait staff was also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Walked in without a reservation at 7:30 on a Friday. It was crowded but they could seat us at the only open table outside on their chaming patio which was fine with us as it was a lovely evening. We barely sat down and were immediately brought water and some wonderful warm bread with a choice of an excellent dipping oil or butter. Waitress arrived quickly and took our drink orders. The drinks arrived promptly and I had an excellent martini, one friend had a glass of chardonnay which she teally liked. Food orders were taken, two had a lemon basil shrimp dish over linguini. I had Gamberi alla Cardinale, another shrimp dish. All of us were very pleased with our choices, generous portions and shrimp was cooked perfectly, all had a pleasing presentation. We opted to share their Lemoncello cake which was amazing. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to going back when we are in the atea

We had lunch catered for my office today. Food was just finished being made and still hot when we got back to our building. Highly recommend the penne with chicken and broccoli in olive oil and garlic and the chicken parm w penne and marinara! Fantastic meal that everyone enjoyed! We will be back!

This location is a nice and quaint Italian restaurant with phenomenal service on top of the great tasting, freshly prepared entrées! Great job to the service and kitchen staff at this fine establishment!

Shrimp scampi pizza was very different and tasty. Meat lover calzone is one of the real meaty calzones I had. Love the food and one of my favorite places to go.

Love love love this place. Staff is always great and food even better.was so glad to see expansion and outdoor seating. Been going to Assisi since it first opened and always love it. Awesome for take out as well

Having been here several times now, I'm happy to report that Cafe Assisi consistently delivers an enjoyable dining experience. The cozy restaurant is crowded with tables and conversation. The menu offers Italian comfort food so welcome to heaven, I hope you like cheese. The staff is abundantly friendly and welcoming.

Walked in without a reservation, and was greeted by a very warm and friendly man who was eager to accommodate our request for a table. Anna was our server was also very friendly and warm and made our experience so special, and the meals we enjoyed were spectacular. If you have an opportunity to stop by this little gem of a place, you’ll be grateful you did.

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. Staff was stretched thin but did very well in staying on top of things. Food quality was excellent and the value/$$ was also very good. Desserts were excellent as well. After having this place on my radar for a long time it is now firmly in the #1 go-to spot when I am in the Wrentham area.

was shopping at the Wrentham outlet and needed to get food. found this little Italian restaurant and fell in love with the lasagna and signature shrimp pasta. price was reasonable but the food was so good just like home style! would come back here to try the other things on the menu. great atmosphere to unwind after a long day of shopping.
everyone was trying desert. we were too full to try. next time we will save some room for those amazing looking cakes.

I'll give them 10 starts if I can.

First of all, the staff here are probably the most polite and customer-focused folks I've encountered. I'm not sure if she was the manager or not, but the woman who greeted us, told us about the wait, and later seated us was so excellent, this is how customer service is done!

The food is absolutely phenomenal. There is literally nothing you could order that would be bad. Do wear loose pants, though, because WOW it's rich and the serving sizes are plentiful. I also encourage you to go outside of your usual comfort zone with your food choice -- You'll be happily surprised! #PearsInRavioliFTW
