This company has given others the chance to have affordable dental insurance. The insurance this company offers gives your family peace of mind and security. They do not discriminate against age, race, gender, and sexual orientation. Delta Dental gives the entire family quality insurance. They have some of the kindest and most helpful agents. I would recommend anyone to use this insurance. Dental care is one of the most important aspects of physical health and having a nice smile has boosted my confidence. Delta has always gone above and beyond, I’m always thankful to have discovered this smaller company.

In November 2021, my dentist decided to leave the Delta Dental network which meant billing procedures and maybe also costs would change. I didn't know how this new scenario would play out. When I broke a tooth in February 2022 and had to get a crown (involving several appointments), I was charged upfront for the whole procedure at my dentist's office. I'd never had this experience before. The dentist's assistant said DD would reimburse me their share directly in the form of a personal check. I've had DD for at least 12 years. With all previous dentists, I'd paid 50% of the total to the dentist. The dentist charged DD the additional 50% and was reimbursed by them - I wasn't involved. I wasn't sure if I needed a new dentist or new dental insurance.
This morning, I went to DD MA website for customer service number and read all the bad reviews. I was very concerned I would receive a similar experience, but when I called customer service I was directed to a representative quickly. I spoke to O (yes, that's his name, though maybe I'm spelling it incorrectly). I asked O if he could find the exact amount of my reimbursement and the date when I would receive the check. We went over the breakdown of costs for my recent dental work, and then he put me on hold. (The dreaded "hold" from which few customer reps return!) I took deep breaths and tried to be patient. He was back on the line in a couple of minutes. He'd found the information I needed, and then he helped me navigate through the DD website to find a local dentist in the network. I had an excellent experience, thanks to O!

Called customer service and had a very helpful representative help me find the information I needed. Niola was very friendly and asked questions to assure I was able to obtain all that I called for. Any difficulties with the call seemed to be because of the online system, and not because of the customer service representative personally.

**I normally don't write reviews but ...In light of ALL the negative reviews, just wanted to take a moment to shed some positivity and highlight two reps that I spoke with that were extremely pleasant, personable and helpful. I had questions regrading my coverage and was bracing myself about what I'd encounter based on the trash reviews....

BUT RAEJONN and BRIANNA were a breath of fresh air. Tried to call to speak to a manager to relay my experience personally, but couldn't reach one. Nonetheless, ask for Raejonn or Brianna, they'll answer your questions (w/ a positive attitude) and provide the information your requesting...Like I said, I don't write reviews but felt compelled based on all the other ones lol.

P.s ..wait time wasn't TOO crazy 15min the first time and maybe about 8 minutes the second time. Idk perhaps I was expecting longer.

I called to Customer Service and spoke with Carlos. I am concern talking by phone because of my hard accent and he was so patient and assisted me with my online registration. Still have angels on Earth. :)

REGINA did everything in her power to help me. These reviews are all terrible so I was skeptical. Regina helped me figure out my login account issue.
