My wife and I hired Exela Movers after doing some research for the best company in the Boston area. We were moving from a two-bedroom apartment in Boston to a home in NY, so it was going to be quite the monumental task. Seeing all the rave reviews for Exela, I reached out and scheduled the move with them -- and I'm so happy I did! They were amazing.

On the day of the move, a rain/snowstorm hit, but the crew still arrived on time and accomplished the job easily. This included moving all items out in 1 hour flat, a 6+ hour drive in whiteout conditions, and a full unpack in another hour flat. We had 3 movers, and they were all polite, professional, and took great care of all our items. Nothing arrived damaged or broken, and all items were accounted for. It was worth every penny!

If you are worried about finding the right movers, then hire Exela. They know what they're doing and how to do it efficiently. Highly recommended!

I’m not really one to write reviews, but after the first time I used Exela I thought I should go and give them a 5-star review. Well, fast forward several years and I’ve now used them 3 times, and had 3 excellent moving experiences. Each was a different crew but awesome nonetheless. Efficient and careful!

Daniel and his team did a fantastic job with our out of state move. We had them pack for us. The crew was all professional and cheerful. Our stuff was very well taken care of and there were no major damages. We also respected that there were no wall scratches in either our new or old places. Our only negative (not bad) was they had 5 people move us out, but only 2 moving us in, so the move in day was a very long day.

Exela Movers is the BEST in the business. I have never experienced the professionalism and efficiency with any other Company I have dealt with! They take extra care in wrapping and packing so quickly and efficiently. Able to handle difficult moving and parking situations in Boston with diplomacy and tact. Nothing concerns them and they make things happen so quickly and efficiently. Even multi-state moves. Highly recommend!!!!!

Daniel, Madalin, and Adrian were incredible to work with. They were communicative, on time, efficient, and organized throughout the process. They handled extremely fragile items with care and made our move a breeze. We would hire Excela again in an instant and will recommend them to our friends and family.

I've used Exela for two moves now. 2019 and recently in 2024. Amazing service both times and reasonably priced. They take the time to make sure the furniture is configured exactly how you want it with patience and expertise. I wouldn't use any other movers!

As a single woman who has had previously negative experiences with movers, I can definitely say that this company made me feel comfortable, safe, and provided a seamless move. I was reassured along the way that everything I needed would be taken care of and the pricing and timing was extremely reasonable. We have used Exela for 3 different moves and they have been great every time. They are quick, take good care of our stuff, and are priced fairly. The movers always have a great attitude and the company is easy to work with. We have also recommended them to several people who have also had great experiences with them.

Exela was fantastic. We were working with a budget, and they were very clear about pricing and timing. They worked incredibly quickly and efficiently, and were very respectful. I highly recommend them and will work with them in the future.

We used Exela for a move from Boston to Manhattan (NYC). What stands out is how hard these guys worked from beginning to finish. Estimates were made based on pictures I took of our belongings and the actual work was done in less time. When they arrived to Manhattan, the closest available parking space was a block away, but they did not waste time waiting for a spot on our street and got to work right away. All of our belongings were taken care of and nothing was missing or broken. Moving to Manhattan is stressful, but Exela made it less so. Highly recommend this company for any inter-state move.

Fantastic service on every level, and the price is right too. Can't recommend them more highly. Moving house (and in our case moving State as well) is stressful, but Alexe and crew made packing, moving, and unpacking the smoothest part of the whole process.

This was definitely one of the more expensive services but worth it in my opinion. Easy to work with, great communication, and super quick movers. I feel like they went above and beyond to keep our items safe and to not make a mess. I would definitely recommend again. I've used movers before, and no other company is as professional as Exela.

These guys are awesome. We had a lot to throw at them - seven years' worth of accumulated stuff, a separate appointment just to pack, and an interstate move. The crew was highly professional and adaptive, and the foreman communicated well and was fun to work with. (Final Fantasy fans know it's a good sign when your foreman's name is Sabin.)

They were more than ready for all the idiosyncrasies that come with the Boston area like walk-up apartments, tight corners, and funky street parking. Throughout the move I was sending photos of the truck packed with padded furniture to my family, and they were impressed at how professional everything looked. 100% of the kitchenware and fragile decorations they packed made it over safely.

Extra props to the guys for helping figure out how to get the couch we were disposing of through our tight stairwell.

If hiring Exela, or any other moving company, please make sure to provide bottled waters for the crew and consider snacks and a meal as well.
