Amedisys Home Health Care

The ladies and gentlemen at Amedisys in Ripley have been working with my mother for about five months with her rehab after a week stay in the hospital. She had a long way to go becuase of pnuemonia and heart issues. They have been kind and as effective with her rehab as could be expected at her age and with the health issues that she has. They have treated her and the family very well. They have always kept is informed with their schedules have been there any time there was a problem or question about her care. My Mother has worked well with them and I don't how they got her to cooperate but they did. Great job. Mom looked forward to them coming and got along well with all. Thanks everyone.

Just know folks, Amedisys only wants you as a patient if you have Medicare or Medicaid. Not only did they leave me high and dry next week even though my insurance will cover it and had it approved ...they won't take me as a patient because Julie said "BCBS doesn't pay us as well so we aren't going to take you." Healthcare at its finest.

Not happy with treatment, calling of wrong number (still have the recording!), calling when phones in area were out of order due to flooding and it being OUR fault?! Seriously? Someone needs some realization!
