Holiday Host Motel and RV Park

We are on a road trip from Austin to Big Bend and stopped here to rest for the night. Super convenient, clean, cute and comfortable. Hot showers and cold AC. In the morning we had their breakfast and I enjoyed the hot coffee and banana bread. The owner was super friendly and gave us a great room to accommodate our family. Thank you, 5 star stay.

These people here are life savers and really do go above and beyond for their customers. They actually picked me up from the mechanic shop because my car broke down on me on the way back to Houston and the shop wasn’t able to fix it until the next day because the auto parts store was closing by the time I got there. They are awesome 👏 the rooms are definitely affordable. The motel set on the edge of town but it should be no issues if you have a vehicle. My car was broke down and they even offered to run me to get something to eat in town, but I ended up door dashing; I was surprised that door dash even deliver way out there but they do. It took a little big longer for the dasher to get to the store because it’s a small town and I’m quite sure that they only have like one in the whole town. The hotel is a little older but the people are super cool and I highly recommend them for sure. AC gets super cold 🥶 as well.

David the manager is kind, and very accommodating and affordable. My room was clean and well equipped. Bed comfortable. I had trouble with my motorhome breaking down and David allowed me to park it a month on site where he kept a watchful eye on it while I was traveling on the east coast.

Stayed 1 night. The bed was firm, the room was clean. The check in was quick and friendly. This is an older place, very nice, several TV stations, a cozy room. It is not a luxury room nor price, it was quiet, comfortable, shower only in my room. I enjoyed my one night stay, will stay again if I am in Sonora again and need a place

The new owner is awesome!! The rooms are no frill, but very clean and quiet. The owner was extremely accommodating. We'd had a very rough day on thw road and he made our stay the best it could possibly be. Kudos!

It’s a bit easy to miss as you come into town, and may not be the biggest place, but the owner was welcoming in the late hours and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Can’t beat that for the rate they offer. Not all things need a modern touch, or need over decorating to achieve what you need especially when it comes to needing to rest from the road, a clean comfy bed and hot shower to go is perfect.

Stopped in about 2am. Was greeted with a smile even though I woke them up. Got a room cheap and fast. Room was maybe a little rough around the edges if you are into aesthetics and interior design. But Everything was clean. AC was cold. Shower was hot. Bed was comfortable. Will stop there again.

After driving 10 hours and bracing cross winds this is a PET friendly place to stay. Motel 6 only takes 2 pets. Whatever. The proprietor said I could check out at any time. Now how sweet is that.? 😀
If I come back this way I'm definitely making this my Pit Stop.

My husband and I and our dog stayed here last night and it was amazing. The beds, bathrooms, and rooms were clean and well made and the hostess was very kind. I felt safe and well-rested the next day

Quaint spot with a host who went above and beyond. I'm really glad I decided to stay here. This is an amazing stargazing city.

This motel is very clean and the owner was a very sweet man who went above and beyond for my daughter and myself....we loved our visit and when we pass thru again we will definitely stay here again....his rates were amazing! Thank you and have a blessed day 😉

Nothing to complain about! Affordable and quiet with friendly service. It's certainly nothing fancy but we just needed a decent place to rest.
