Lala's Mexican Restaurant

The chicken fajitas are awesome! The lemonade is perfect. Everything I have tried here is on point.

I stopped in town on my way from SanDiego to New Orleans and the lady at the motel suggested this place. It looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place, and to be fair, the amenities are humble. This is the real deal: family owned, with recipes that are probably not written down anywhere, but made from scratch daily. I got the street tacos and they were amazing. My east coast taste buds were a little alarmed at the spiciness of the salsa that came with the chips on the table (still hot!!!) but, hey, I'm in Texas. I'd rather have genuine stuff that is too spicy than fake stuff that's been watered down.
The staff was friendly and efficient. I think there were two tables occupied when I came in on a Sunday evening at around 6:30, and there seemed to be a steady flow of traffic in and out the whole time I was there. Totally worth the stop. On the off chance that I ever travel I-10 cross country again, I'll make it a point to stop here for the food.

Great family owned and ran restaurant with awesome family recipes. Ask for "LiL chef" Esmeralda. Great burgers and Enchiladas. My personal favorite was the KIKO's PLATE . Ask for a frozen drink for those hot days and dessert special. Anna is my favorite waitress she went the extra mile every visit! Tell them Erik sent you.

My order was Chili Relleno with Rice & Beans/ Corn Tortillas.

Stopped here after visiting the caverns and was very pleased with friendly vibes and good service. The Juan’s burrito is a tasty option with gooey queso and seasoned meat that was tender. Definitely check this place out if passing though.

Went to Lala's Mexican for breakfast. Delicious!! The food was amazing, the service was great. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Sonora!

Just wow... made me feel like I was a home ..and got to watch the game .. very quickly n staff was awesome n friendly .. hot sauce was good n Hot.. watch the green one put hair on ur Chest.... yummmmm

Authentic Tex-Mex....fantastic hotsauce/salsa...we had the cheese enchiladas and the street tacos...the frijoles a la charro were fantastic. Grace our waitress was very sweet and attentive with the service...we WILL BE BACK!

I just had the best Mexican food of my life!!! OH MY GOSH. The Sour Cream Enchiladas are to die for. 😋. I may drive across Texas again just to eat at Lala's!

Great food and amazing staff!!! We were hungry and had a large group and they took care of us right at closing time.

What a gem! Some of the best Mexican I've ever had and unbelievably cheap. everyone who works there is super nice and seem to genuinely enjoy being there. I had the chicken Chile Verde enchiladas. So good! And their salsa is bomb! I'll never pass through there without stopping at Lala's.

Stopped here on our road trip, very welcoming when we walked in. Our experience was great, shoutout Mayble for the great service, very attentive. Food was good, nothing bad to say about it. We sat inside, a very clean restaurant, outdoor dining looks fun! Next time we stop near here we’ll do the outside dining. Cute little restaurant!

They serve green and red salsa as an appetizer. The beans and rice are some of the best I’ve had and the street tacos were legit. This place is off the main highway but absolutely worth a visit. It looked like they have washers and a pool table when it warms up as well.

If I could give them 6 stars just for being open I would! We were coming from San Antonio and most restaurants, other than national chains, were closed. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly and prompt. We came in with 6 children and two adults and they were very accommodating to each of our request.

The chile relleno was INCREDIBLE!
