We got menudo for the whole family. It was super good, we had heard from family members about this location but never tried it before. My husband took our pot and they filled it up, they also gave us bread, fresh finely shopped onions, oregano, limes, crushed red peppers and bread!! I'm so glad we gave this location a chance.

Great prices, great food salsas are great as well. Only thing that could be worked on is the older ladies attitude. Besides that i highly recommend this place if you love tacos!

Great little family owned authentic Mexican restaurant near El Paso in Horizon city. Highly recommend giving them a try. Restaurant is very small so there menu might differ from larger places but the father / owner was very polite and accommodating, they also had me pay after I ate and cleaned up my mess it was a great little place to try. Gave atmosphere 5 star because it was very genuine and I respect that a lot. Looking forward to trying more of there food. Will say you won't go wrong choosing this place for a meal 💯

After reading the reviews, I could tell they are 100% right on the lady 🤣🤣 she has a face that goes with her attitude.....contrary to the husband, very nice and great customer service!!!
We got asada tacos and super fries..OMG..delicious..
Meat soft and yummy, he told me they were big and yup they were, full of meat and flavor!!!
Salsa very good as well, but oh my, those tacos were delicious!!!

Will definitely go back and try something else!!!!

The service was fast and very good by the guy!! He was great and kept you informed of the order!!!

(The tacos are from yesterday, we didn't finish them haha, they were so big that we had 6 tacos left over from 3 orders of 4 tacos each, 2 were reheated today and still soft and yummy)

I do understand you might get overwhelmed, but just remember....customer service is one of the priorities so people feel welcome and enjoy your delicious food!!

I tried smiling to the lady to see if I'd get a reaction and nothing. To the contrary of the husband, you would just ask for your order and he was really nice, polite and kept you up to date with the order!!

I haven't had the chance to go back but will definitely go and try the shrimp cocktail some day!! The tacos and the fries etc 😋🍽🍴

Delicious food first i time have been there i tried the comida corrida plate special it come out with a good size portion beef stew and the wowzer they said it came with enchiladas, i was expecting a small plate portion. But let me tell you its the biggest plate ive seen beautifully decorated with your 4 enchiladas, rice , and beans its was all served with fresh salsa and hot corn tortillas and your drink thats included in meal. Absolutely delicious it felt like your at your grammas home eating.

Menudo is the best I have had in El Paso County

First time trying it I got tacos the al pastor & carne asada plate w/ a bowl of caldo the res was so good I recommend going I'm from California so it's hard to beat tacos.Soup was yummy. I definitely going to keep this place as one of my favorites 💞😋

I had the Carne Asada Plate to go and it was IMPECCABLE. Great flavor, sides, portions, and price. Will be returning here any time I'm in El Paso! 🙌🌮

There menudo is so good. The owner already knows my mom since were regulars but there still nice like day 1. They really do take serious the precautions and they are super clean and super fast. If you're looking for good menudo in El Paso go to Ay Jalisco.

My favorite place to get carne asada burritos. The burritos are jam-packed with flavor and they are not stingy with the meat, more than enough. A regular burrito will be more than enough to fill-up a regular everyday person but in case you need more they have a Super burrito.

Came here for lunch today.

I just moved to Horizon a few weeks ago and had not found a good spot for menudo until today. I ordered a menudo and barbacoa taco plate to go. All of the food was delicious, good portion size, and friendly service. Will definitely go back.

Food is always perfect and delicious! I always order here and they are fast even if they’re busy . Honestly I’ve lived in horizon my whole life and this is the only place that has never messed up my order or gaven me nasty food ! Thank you ay Jalisco ! Horizon loves you

My whole family absolutely loves the menudo. We get up early everyday and especially won't miss out on the menudo either Saturdays or Sundays, but it's every weekend.

The food is delicious no matter what you get. The gentleman is the nicest person in the world and has great customer service, HOWEVER his wife seems to wake up and decides she will be a%5 to everyone there no matter how nice you are to her.

Awesome food, and service. Owners make people feel more than welcomed. I definitely making this place one of my favorite. Thumbs up!!

It feels like having breakfast at your grandma's house. Everyone knows each other and is super nice. The food is very homelike tasting and good. Overall feeling of community here.

They have the best menudo in town hands down and I've lived here 13 years and tried them ALL. The food in general is tasty, only feedback would be on the salsas, they are kinda watered down and flavorless.

Love the vibe, the owners are really nice. The food is outstanding.I recommend the shrimp cocktail and the super fries/nachos. The menudo is the best ive ever had.
