If you're ever in Dorchester, stop in to this place! I got a tip that the Irish Breakfast roll was good, and it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. No question. I got a tip to get it with butter, ketchup, and brown sauce, and that was the move. It was the best. The meat, bread, all of it. I got the small, and it hit the spot. The cinnamon rolls were excellent, too. I will look for any excuse to come back.

I have always loved this place. It’s been in Adams village for as long as I can remember and Their desserts are so tasty. This is the perfect place to go for a treat, I love their cakes, cupcakes, cookies, it will 100% satisfy your sweet tooth. For breakfast I would often stop by for buttery toast with jam. I have never had a bad experience here. Definitely recommend this to all!

The people who work there always are so helpful and friendly making it easy to order more than I thought I needed before I got there. ( no complaints) the pies are always the best ever. The breads are always fresh and delicious, cookies sometimes get eaten before I get them home. So I guess I am giving Green Hills a Five Star rating. I drive 22 miles to get there and I am not Irish.

Saturday at 11am this place was packed - but the line went so fast that I wasn't ready to order. Many options of scones, muffins, pastries, sandwiches, and more. I had a delicious (and filling) blueberry scone. I came back later for a roast beef sandwich for lunch. Authentic!

Everything we ordered - a raspberry pastry square and two eclairs - was so delicious and authentic! The tartness of the raspberry square lingers with me, even a few days later... The people working here were prompt and friendly, even during the lunch rush. I will be back the next time I'm in Boston!

Best desserts we’ve ever bought. Breads are great for sandwiches. It’s no wonder this place is always busy.

Stopped in this past Saturday morning. Stocked up on Irish treats and got a Christmas cake. Also got a breakfast roll. It was excellent. Place was reasonably busy. Staff were friendly helpful. A great spot.

A delightful little Irish bakery with all of the comforts (and more!) of Ireland. They have THE best scones on this side of the pond. And the whoopie pies are to die for!

Nice atmosphere, fantastic baked goods, friendly customer service, and that lovely Irish brogue!

This is a family owned bakery and I want to keep them around.

The best/most authentic Irish scone I have had in Boston. Very good bread and pastry selections. People are polite, kind, and friendly. If you are trying to be the center of attention and boss around, like some blacks: this is a busy place!

Love coming here. Can speak to the croissant varieties and the cinnamon rolls - solid. The people are really nice too and it’s a chill environment. A fan

I went into green hills bakery today at lunch time to pick up an apple pie and was greeted by this lovely young Irish gentleman who could not have been any nicer or more polite if he tried.

I too, am Irish and have met many Irish people at greenhills but this guy stood out with his stellar outstanding customer service and all round lovely manner.

Working in the Client relations I think it’s so important to recognize excellent employees and customer service when I see it and today was a 5 star service. I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name but I don’t think there are too many young Irish lads there’s working the register .

Great Soda bread, I loved that some of the staff was Irish and most of them had really pride in their products. They gave great passionate advice about their selection. A+ and amazing neighborhood gem.

Amazing cake...I got a cake for 100 people. There were only 60 attendants at my event and within minutes only crumbs were left! The service here is great and the presentation of my cake was absolutely elegant. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates delicious cake and stellar presentation.

I arrived and place was very busy, the line moved very fast. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a wheat bagel. The lady asked if i wanted fried egg or scrambed, she also asked if i wanted ketchup on it. I liked the fact that they asked how i want the sandwich. I waited just about 5 min for my food. Service was very fast. The bagel was fresh. Bacon and egg perfect cooked. I loved this place, worth stoping by!

I found this little gem while out on assignment in Boston! It was so delicious I drove the extra mileage to return for lunch on my last day in town. Absolutely fantastic! Very friendly staff and insanely tasty food. Try the strawberry slice, it’s out of this world!

Only place in town to can find a proper breakfast sandwich (meaning bangers, back bacon, black & white pudding). And if you're ever missing British/Irish chocolates & candies (time out bars anyone?) They've got you covered as well. Also you have to try the carrot muffin!
