Karen E. Izzo, DDS

Dr Karen has been my dentist for many years. She is extremely professional and caring as well as very personable! She’s great at explaining procedures, taking time to assure any questions or concerns are addressed. She has a very reassuring demeanor, which coupled with a good sense of humor helps the time in her chair pass quickly.
My husband who was paranoid of dentists due to prior really bad experiences is now comfortable and trusting of her.
The entire staff from hygienist and assistants to insurance and scheduling personnel is so friendly and helpful that it makes the entire experience as simple and painless as possible. Which reminds me she gives great shots, which to me was always the worst part of having dental work done.

Everyone at this office - doctors, hygienists, specialists, front desk - are exceptional. Very professional, kind and caring. They are willing to work out budget friendly payment plans (when you need a lot of work -like I did). They also take the time to clearly explain procedures, findings, etc. And they've always been very conscious of my time, getting me in and out with very little waiting. I have been a very happy patient of Dr Karen's for over 7 years and I would never consider going anywhere else.

I've been seeing Dr. Izzo for about 15 years. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. She is a wonderful, kind and genuinely caring professional. She does everything in her power to make sure that your experience is first-rate; from pain relief, to explaining everything she's doing/needs to do in detail, she is beyond amazing. Never once in all the years going there have I felt "ripped off" (and I've seen many dentists over the years, I cannot say that about all of them.) On top of that, she's lucky enough to have a phenomenal staff, everyone is clearly happy to be there, and how many people can say that at work! I've left doc practices due to rude staff in the past, so I feel this is SO important! The office folks know their stuff re: insurance and are willing to work with people financially, and the hygienists are absolutely first-rate, every one of them. The fact that the only new faces you ever see there are additions to the staff because of expansion really tells you what a great place it is. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

My entire family and I have been going here for many, many years! The staff is excellent, Dr. Izzo is amazing, everyone is friendly and helpful! I love it here! I couldn't imagine going to any other practice. I refer all family, friends, and co-workers. They have a new, very clean facility. It doesn't have that creepy, smelly dentist office feel AT ALL.

Dr. Izzo is honest and down to earth. She really seems to genuinely care about her patients. I switched my family of five to this practice last summer and I have no regrets. The staff is great to deal with as well.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Izzo for over 20 years, and our 2 children have been her patients since they began dental care 17 years ago.
Dr. Izzo is not only very knowledgeable about dentistry, she's also very personable and great with children--and adults!
Her office, from the front to the hygenists to the techs, are all very outgoing and helpful.
I'd highly recommend her dentistry to anyone who needs dental care.

Great care from Dr. Karen and her staff for over 20 years. Our kids love her as she has cared for their dental health from age 3 on up! Friendly, professional, and puts any worries to rest (for our dentist-phobic friends we've referred)!

Karen by far is the best dentist I have ever been to. She is funny, friendly, and informative! I moved to Texas for two years, and missed having her as my dentist. Fortunately I have moved back to Illinois, and I will be making a future appointment with her (even though she is 40 mins away.) Now that's a good dentist!

Everyone in this office is professional and courteous. They make you feel super comfortable; they care about your overall health and how it affects your oral health. Always a thorough exam. Good people - Dr. Karen, Vicki - all awesome! Gentle touch, never a painful experience.

Karen by far is the best dentist . She is funny, friendly, and informative and the staff is the same. I look forward to my dentist appointments(sounds weird, I know). I give her 5 stars or 2 thumbs up, I will be scheduling my dental appointment when I travel back to Chicago from my home in Washington DC.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Izzo and her team. I've hopped from one dentist to another until I found Dr. Izzo. It's been almost 20 years that me, my husband and now grown daughter have been coming here. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Izzo and her dental hygienists are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable about dental health. Every time I go to a cleaning, I learn something new about how I can clean my teeth better. However, they present this educational information in an nonjudgmental, caring way. They are great with young kids - my daughter has gone to Dr. Izzo since she was 3 and my 3-year-old son will be seeing her soon. I have not had a cavity since I have started going to Dr. Izzo three years ago because I follow her recommended dental regimen of using special mouthwashes, prescription tooth paste, and an electric toothbrush. Also, I had terrible dental pain after having a root canal done. The endodontist that had done the procedure didn't pick up his phone at 11pm at night, but Dr. Izzo did. And she met me at her office that night to check everything out and numb everything up again. Dr. Izzo is a lifesaver!! She is compassionate and dedicated to her patients.

It was my first time there and Dr. Izzo treated me as if I was V.I.P. I definitely noticed it she explained everything she did or saw which I can definitely appreciate. I honestly thought the reviews that were left on google were being exaggerated by someone close to her such as family members or friends but I definitely had to be writing this review also as she deserves it. Professional staff and clean office making it a calm environment. Rockstars working at this place with Dr. Izzo as lead STAR!!!

If you are like me then a trip to the dentist is not something I look forward too. Childhood memories of loud, shrill drills; latex fingers poking around in my mouth and anesthetized gums have left a residue of dental dread.
All of this has changed in my visits to Karen's dental practice. From reception to the dental chair, the atmosphere is warm and friendly while the service is professional and efficient. They have the balance just right. I never thought I would hear myself say it, but my visit to the dentist is something I look forward too.

YES, you read that right. LOVED IT! I have been to plenty of dentists but, none compare to Dr. Izzo and her staff. EVERYONE there is so pleasant, it is more than immaculate, and can you just imagine that I can honestly say I have never even been the slightest bit uncomfortable while Dr. Izzo worked on me. I have learned so much from Dr. Izzo. She explains EVERYTHING from what she is doing now & why, to what she will be doing on your next visit. It is truly a pleasure to go to this office. I will never go anywhere else because she is the BEST, so don't bother with the rest!

Everyone at Dr.Karen's (Izzo) office is personable. I've been going there for about 16 years (maybe longer). I am always satisfied with my results!!
