Canton Harvester Inn

This place is truly impressive. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and we are well-traveled. The cleanliness was off the charts. We had a top floor room and enjoyed the sunset glow on the horizon. I appreciated the flags out front, particularly the Illinois flag, which is rarely seen, particularly in a hotel stay. Staff and breakfast were an A+.

Came to Canton to visit wife's family. Got a militarydiscount. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee and cookies available 24/7. The management was fantastic. Room was more than adequate. We will come back.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when there was a slight mixup with our room booking (had accidentally booked the wrong weekend!). John went above and beyond to help us out. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice breakfast.

Great location and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was reconstituted eggs, inexpensive sausage, gravy, and some waffles. Not the best breakfast so I opted for coffee from the Dixie Cream Donut shop across the street.

Kim and John make you feel welcome and safe. I loved my stay. Super clean. Luxury rooms with comfortable King size beds, microwave and mini Frig all help make your stay extra special. Will definitely stay here again when coming back for family functions.

I return every year when I visit Canton for work. The staff is so friendly...especially Dixie. I appreciate her smile and her generous spirit! The entire hotel is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

Our family is near this hotel. However, if they weren't, this would be a routine stop over. Five stars in service, cleanliness, hot breakfast and staff is always superb

I stayed for one night at Canton Harvester inn. Comfortable rooms, easy in and out. Pleasant front desk employees. Best part was breakfast being served at 530am. Most hotels don’t serve breakfast earlier than 7, however, I have early start times so a hot breakfast was very welcome.

Dixie, Kim and team always make guests feel super welcome. You wouldn't think this nice hotel would be in little ol' Canton.

We have stayed at Canton Harvester Inn for the past three years when visiting family. It is welcoming, light, airy, pleasantly decorated with clean, immaculate rooms, and the MOST comfy beds. We were exhausted after the drive and instantly felt calm, relaxed, and at "home." The breakfast was very well done and a rare ammenity. We even invited two of our family members (from Canton) to join us for a very minimal charge. Kudos to the staff and management for the Inn's level of excellence.

We have stayed at this hotel more than 15 times on separate occasions. Every time we have stayed the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Never been disappointed. Cleaning staff does an amazing job and front desk staff are helpful and nice! Love this hotel

Truly a classic hotel. It looks retro from the outside but it was far from it. Staff was great all the way around. Rooms incredibly clean and very large. Modern in every way. For an isolated small town in Illinois, it far exceeds expectations.

What a gem of a hotel along our travels. Being on a road trip we have stopped at random hotels along the way. The Canton Harvester is the first to offer double King beds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The hotel decor is cute and has some Canton history.
Hot breakfast is an actual hot breakfast, not just Waffles, cereal and toast like other places we've been.
The staff are welcoming and helpful.

I stayed there 3 years ago when my son, a Fulton County sheriff's Deputy, was killed. They accommodated everyone extremely well and made a very sad occasion easier. It was a crazy time but the staff was more than helpful dealing with grief stricken guests. I recommend the Canton Harvester Hotel 110%. Very clean and comfortable!

Great location, friendly staff, clean reasonably priced rooms, and an amazing breakfast! We will be back if we are ever in Canton!

We stayed here November,2021. We were there for my Grampa’s funeral. We generally stay with family when we visit so this was our first time at the ‘new’ hotel in town. It was actually lovely. And more than running into people we love every time we were in the lobby, (though that novel experience warmed my heart beyond words) The person I spoke to on the phone about an early check in was very understanding. The lady that checked us in was great and efficient. The room was great. Clean and quite large. The food for breakfast was eh but sitting in the dining room and slowly filling up tables with family and laughter and love…. It was truly magical. Nothing really to do with the hotel but it’s all I can remember from 6 months ago. lol My siblings and I are planning a trip and will most likely stay here. It’s central and when you look out the windows you see your childhood if you were born here. It’s just near everything. The square. Starbucks and Big Creek Park are just down the way. Thank you Harvester Inn!

Wonderful hotel. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. Coffee in the room was the Best! Staff was extremely helpful with requests and questions about the area. Breakfast in the morning was more than cereal and a muffin! Will stay here again on my next visit to Canton!

It was a very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, inviting and convenient. Hot breakfast with a nice array of choices. Very tasty. Cookies for the guests at the front desk. Great sized rooms with 2 king-sized beds in all the rooms. Wide variety of restaurants nearby. Welcoming staff. I loved this place.

This hotel is amazing. I stay here 2-3 times a year for work. I always look forward to my stay. The rooms are huge with lots of windows, super comfy beds, clean bathrooms, lots of TV channels, and an awesome breakfast. The staff is always nice and helpful. I only ever had a problem once and it wasn't even their fault- lots of lady bugs in the corner of the room due to harvesting season. They came in and had no problem removing them for me.
Walking distance to Taco Bell, Dunkin, and Jimmy John's. Aldi and Hyvee close by for groceries.

This was one of the very best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room had 2 king beds! But more than that, the room and the hotel were beautiful! Very clean. The room was updated. The bathroom was large. There was space for all of our stuff. The room was quiet. The staff was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We would love to stay here again. Other hotels should visit this one to get ideas on how to remodel theirs and treat people. Truly a gem!
