Canton Inn

A great little place to stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean enough. Only suggestion would be for them to invest in an ice machine

I used this motel to put up some technicians in the spring. They said that it was clean and comfortable. For the price, it definitely seemed to fit the bill. When I booked, the staff was very friendly.

Just this week, I had another reservation to stay there for a night, but plans fell through and I had to cancel the day before. I was told that they had already turned a few people away for that room since we had booked it, so we might have to pay for it. I understood completely since this is normal protocol and we had cost them a fare.

The manager then offered to waive the fee if someone came in and rented that room. I was surprised that he did that, but was not too optimistic that the room would get rented last minute. It would also be very easy for him to just say that it didn't get rented either way and charge us. We'd never know. I was very impressed when I called him the next day and he told me that the room got rented and that he would not be charging us! He earned my business for all future visits to the area, which is great since we will be up there several times this year.

I believe this is a great motel for those traveling on a fixed budget, it has been here for many years and seems to have been brought up to current building codes, security and lighting. Stayed in building rear of property where it was relatively quite and relaxing with slight highway traffic. Staff was polite and professional to our needs in a timely basis. Despite other negative reviews I have read you really can not go wrong by staying here its not a five star motel but its very acceptable at the 55 dollar rate for what is offered and close to shopping, hospital, etc. Noticed it caters to a lot of traveling contractors which is great for company employees to stay vehicles are secure with adequate night vision cameras on property.

We have been staying at the Canton Inn off and on for several months now as my boyfriend comes to town for work and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The property is well maintained, the staff is very attentive, and our rooms are very comfortable. Outside of our standard room we were also able to take advantage of the romantic suite for a night! That room is a hidden gem! We have really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again when we come back next year!

I was referred to this hotel by a local resident after explaining a horrible situation with another hotel in town. I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay in this town or head to a larger town where I would have more options...however a storm was heading our way and I didn't want to have to drive back in the storm 40 minutes to meet with a client, so I thought I would give it a shot.

When I arrived onsite I did ask the manager if I could see the room before I booked it, as mentioned above I had had a bad experience the night before with another local hotel...the managers could not have been more accommodating and hospitable.

I was shown two different rooms, and though the furniture was older, the room was absolutely perfect...in addition to having a table and chairs plus a desk for me to work at, I would have a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeepot....the best part though was the cleanliness of the room.

I gladly walked back to the office to book my room for the night at this location. When I am in the area for business, this is the only hotel I will stay at from here on out.

Also, I should mention that after I arrived back home, I did get a call from Harry the manager checking to see how my stay was.

I don't think in (no, make that I know) I have NEVER received a call from a hotel asking me about my stay, "just because."

Needless to say, they have won my repeat business and though there are other hotels in town, if you are looking for value, hospitality, and cleanliness, this is the place to stay at.

I love Canton inn during my stay. The rooms are always very clean. The beds were very comfortable and i loved the cable tv witch was a flat screen! The manager harry and his staff were very helpful and nice they made me feel very welcome. It was like i just made new friends. I recomend this motel to everyone because you have very great experience.

Hearts on Fire room is amazing! Shower has two heads! Missing the microwave! Has mini fridge! Bed is super comfy! Absolutely outstanding hot tub! Alone or not! Definitely check out the Hearts on Fire room! You will not regret it! Harry the owner is absolutely phenomenal with customer service!

Me and my boyfriend come every year to this motel and i have to say the service is extraordinary. U can call at any time and they are very nice and understanding of concerns u have and are willing to do any thing it takes to help you out.. The rooms are big and spacious and has micromave. And coffee pot. A fridge. And the bathroom is nice u also get free wifi access..... And for those lovebirds out there there is a very nice extravagant jacuzzi room with a nice heart shaped bed. Enjoy your stay here i knowi did i suggest and recommend to stayhere

May not look luxurious on the outside but a great place to stay! Good wifi signal, strong water pressure, comfortable bed, plus a micro and fridge! Harry was very pleasant and made sure our stay was exceptional! Would highly recommend!

I travel to the Canton area a couple times each year for fishing tournaments, and the Canton Inn is my motel of choice. It's in close proximity to the town, so there are restaurants/fast food/stores nearby. The owner Harry is very friendly and helpful. During my last stay the bathrooms had been completely renovated, which is a nice update to the already comfortable rooms. I'll continue to stay at Canton Inn during future trips to this area.

The guy in the office was sweet! He gave us a discount for renting the room so late in the night. The room was clean, no bugs in sight. The rooms come with a little refrigerator and coffee maker! They also provide breakfast and coffee in the AM!

I came from Netherlands to USA for the first time. I found Canton Inn hotel online & made my reservation. Canton Inn Made arrangements for me to come to hotel from Airport. I was very pleased , happy & satisfied with my stay. Room was nice with necessary amenities with nice TV.. Every morning enjoyed coffee & breakfast.. Staff was extremely helpful, nice & cooperative.. I will definitely suggest & recommend Canton Inn. Thank You Canton Inn & Manager Harry..

We were recently in Canton, Illinois for business and heard about the Canton Inn. I had seen a couple of other places in the area and I was referred to Canton Inn by a couple of people in the community. During my stay I realized why Canton Inn has earned such a great reputation.
The manager, Harry, was warm and gracious upon my arrival and check-in. I found that the price I paid was very reasonable. I could have paid much more at other places but why? When someone can get the amenities and comfort at a reasonable price, it is well worth it!
The rooms include cable TV on a flat-screen LCD, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, an iron with ironing board and free breakfast in the morning. Wi-Fi is also free and was definitely a highlight of my stay! The signal was very strong and powerful...Harry had mentioned about an upgrade to faster and better quality Internet.
It looks like Canton Inn is in the process of a major renovation. There is new carpet in the room and the bathroom was renovated just about a week ago, with nice big porcelain tile surrounding the tub and a new ceramic tile floor with new fixtures as well. Canton Inn, you did an excellent job in color selection as the new bathroom looks fantastic!
Harry also mentioned that after the bathroom project is completed in all rooms, he soon will begin painting all the rooms to give them a new look.

So far so good. Front desk lady was super nice. Rooms are pretty cleaned. Seems remodeled but still dated. But I'd say it's pretty decent. And it's quite too. I'd recommend

Upon my short notice visit to the freshly renovated Canton Inn. I left with a well rested back, and a smile! With no doubt I will return! nice clean rooms and everything is fresh and in order. Has a mini fridge, a microwave, and a decent sized flatscreen with beautiful graphics! If you're in canton and wasting money at a big wig joint look no further!!!

I’ve been here 4-5 times, each time, if I call ahead, I get to my room with the ac already going. Always very clean and comfy. Never had a problem here, every time I’m in Canton, this is my choice of stay.

Canton Inn has everything you need for a quiet and comfortable stay. Very clean and great Wifi. The customer service is amazing. Harry has always been more than helpful and truly makes you feel welcomed. I have stayed at Canton Inn several times and also for extended periods. You always feel at home here. Will always recommend the Canton Inn.

We came to Canton Inn for few days.. Very nice clean, comfortable hotel.. my daughter came from Florida & stayed here. Rooms are with all necessary amenities with comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, flat screen tv.. Very nice big clean newly done bathroom. Nice new painted rooms.. Very happy & satisfied. Management very cooperative & helpful.

I stayed at the Canton in November 2012 when I was visiting from Chicago for a wedding. The room was lovely and had great accommodations, including in-room coffee, flat screen tv and wi-fi. The staff was so friendly and I received kind, courteous and prompt service. I needed help with directions and learning about the town since I was just visiting, and the front desk staff assisted me every time I asked for help. If I am ever in town again, I will definitely stay at this motel again!

Harry and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable. If I go back to Canton, this will definitely be my hotel of choice!!
