Mama Grassano's

Moved to the Manteno area from Oak Lawn where the original Grassanos is located in Burbank a short drive from our previous home in Oak Lawn. Was delighted to see they had one in Manteno.. Love the pizza and pizza puffs. Family owned and priced good. Pizza is delicious with a slightly sweet sauce and crispy thin crust. Not many good pizza places in Kankakee county, and happy now there is.

I ordered a stuffed pizza and did not disappoint the service over the phone and delivery was great! Any time I'm in town and craving pizza I'll be ordering from here.

We got their pizza last night for the first time. Excellent! Sweet sauce. Big sausages with good flavor. Plenty of cheese and not too greasy. Highly recommended. We should have tried them sooner! They tell you when you order how long the wait for pickup is. One hour last night. Totally worth it.

Ordered a half sausage half pepperoni pizza it was very good a lot better than the options I have in Peotone. Will be back for sure!

They have a great pizza and friendly people working there. Love their chicken wings also. The biggest and best.

Best pizza place in town. They offer take out and delivery, not really any in place dining. They only accept cash for pick-up though, so plan ahead. Their pick-up times are pretty quick too (usually about 30-45 minutes).

Their prices for the portions is amazing. My #1 pizza place pick around here, especially for a party/gathering.

My husband and I order at least 5 to 7 times a month. We love the Pizza thin crust and the shrimp we also order alot. We have always been very happy with our food. We will continue to order on a weekly plus basis. Chuck and Lisa Novak of Manteno

I was told this place had good pizza, so we figured we would give it a try. Good ended up being an understatement. It was fantastic to say the least. My new favorite pizza place. Thank you for a great dinner.

I am what you would call a pizza fanatic, I LOVE pizza, I eat pizza about 3 times a week and have been living on the Southside of Chicago for 12 years before moving to Manteno. There is only one place that I have ever had pizza that tops MaMa Grassanos and that is Edwardo's Natural Pizzeria. I am proud to say that MaMa Grassanos outperforms at least 30 other pizza places I have had pizza from including Beggars, Giordano's, Waldo Cooney's, and many more. I have only had the stuffed pizza from MAMA so I can't speak as for the thin crust but I usually only get stuffed pizza. I have ordered here more than once a week since trying their pizza. Keep it up MAMA, you've got my business for as long as I am around here, and even if I move I would even travel sometimes just to have the taste of your stuffed pizza!!

The have the BEST stuffed pizza!! Tbh everything here is do delicious! Giant pizza puffs delicious pizza amazing sandwiches!!! The price is absolutely amazing as well!!! Always order from here when we are in the area! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! The food is always served so hot and always on time!

This place is such a wonderful pizza place! I had the sweetest service I’ve received in all my years. Tatiana brought me my pizza and she was just amazing ! She was so nice and pleasant, she brought me my food in the cold/rain with the biggest smile and the best warm and ready pizza! 10/10 recommend this place!!!

Best pizza in Kankakee county!! =)

Found this place by accident. Was actually pulling into the lot to order food from another establishment a few doors down & saw this place so I gave it a try. Only ordered a sandwich & chicken fingers since I didn't have time to wait for a pizza that day. Their service was fast & friendly, the portions are very generous versus the majority of other places in the area and their prices are extremely reasonable.

The beef & sausage combo was a huge hit & the chicken fingers were decent size and fresh. Ordered a large pizza the following week & we instantly fell in love with this place. We used to drive up to the Chicago suburbs for decent pizza since there isn't any really good pizza places in this area, but now we finally have a great place nearby! Their crust is awesome and toppings are pretty generous, not skimpy. I was very impressed by how quickly it was ready and how reasonable the price was for a 3 topping large pizza. Ordered tiramisu as well & it was amazing, and again, the portion size for a dessert like that was pretty generous & at a decent price.

If you haven't tried this place yet, you're truly missing out. You've gotta try them at least once. This is our new Friday night go to place when we want pizza.

I didn't experience any negativity from anyone there and they even had to tolerate me adding things to my order after they had already started it, which I'm sure is frustrating to anyone trying to complete a fresh food order in a timely manner. They were very down to earth and friendly, like good friends.

I just wish they had some sort of chicken sandwich on their menu for those of us who aren't red meat eaters. Regardless, at least they have real meat chicken fingers.

I love this place and am so excited there's finally excellent pizza in this area. =)

one of my favorite pizza places... only downfall was the only accepting card for deliveries... I never have cash on me and live out of delivery zone... but, other than that... AMAZING!!!

Great pizza and reasonable prices

Famous for their Pizza Puffs(Calzone-style folded pizza with a fluffy crust), but the real winner here is the italian beef on garlic bread. Even when I was 20 minutes late picking it up, the outside of the bread was still crisp and delicious, the inside juicy and flavorful(and packed with enough Mozzerella cheese to open my own pizza joint). No complaints!
