New China

We have been here a few times and the food is really good. Tonight it really was the best ever. We had won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice, chicken chop suey and beef with mushrooms. Every single thing was excellent. My order was accurate and ready when promised. We used to be fans of Rising Sun (all locations!) and this is just as good.

When you go in for pick up, tables are closed off and used for more storage. Don't let it scare you off.

Excellent taste and traditional preparation of Chinese dishes.

Singapore Mei Fun. This is the best I have had in 10 years. Few restaurants prepare this properly.

I had the shrimp fried rice and it was light and fresh. My wife had the beef lo mein, it was very flavorful. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area hands down!!

Love this place. May be a long wait but people need to realize that it’s one lady and sometimes her husband. She is so sweet and their food is always the best. We will continue going as long as we are inKankakee county!

I've had food here a few times now while visiting my parents and the food is always good. Very small store with little seating but we always get takeout anyway so it doesn't matter. The food was very fresh and ready at the time they told us over the phone. One particular high point is that they actually do make General Tso chicken spicier is you ask for it. Still not too spicy but very good.

We tried New China tonight because Dad’s local restaurant was closed, the food was excellent and piping hot! Very good portions as well. We will definitely visit again, highly recommend this place!

The food was very good. And when I wanted my Mongolian Beef spicy, it came spicy!

We were staying overnight in Manteno and tried them for takeout. Online ordering was a little clunky. But the quality and quantity of entrees and appetizers were excellent.
Would HIGHLY recommend for price/portion ratio and was delicious;

Wonderful food Love their House lo main and house friend rice. Food always hot and fresh and sooo filling. I also recently tried their Broccoli in garlic sauce and their Chicken in garlic sauce 100% amazing!!!!! Don't forget egg rolls and Fried Wonton!!!!

Was pleasantly suprised at the quality of everything we ordered. The restaurant itself is very clean. Polite and patient over the phone as well. Quick service and nice that they offer coupons too!

Our go to place for Chinese... Great food, and great service. They can get busy so your best bet is to order in advance. And if you ask for extra spicy, they actually make it pretty spicy.

Food is fresh and delicious, always cooked to order. The hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had. The kung pao chicken, broccoli chicken and schezuan beef are delicious as well. You get free crab Rangoon with orders over $25. Best Chinese restaurant in the area by far.

Best Orange Chicken I have ever had! I live in Chicago but was down in Manteno helping a friend move in when I discovered this little gem. I regularly go to Chinatown in Chicago when I want great Chinese food so when my buddy Goggle map searched Chinese restaurants in Manteno and discovered this little restaurant. We were shocked at how amazing everything we ordered tasted. Very Fresh vegetables, sauces have a savory quality flavor and you can tell they also use fresh cooking oils. Orange Chicken is amazing, sauce has the perfect mix of sweat & sour, the pork fried rice had fresh snow peas, steamed broccoli and pork. The Crab Rangoon we one one the crispiest and tasty I have had. Both are excellent. Pepper steak and Mongolian beef were very good. Fresh vegetables like they were just picked off the farm. I will come back to this little Gem in Manteno again

Simply the best Chinese take out within driving distance from Manteno. General Tso and I get along very well here. Try the pork lo mein too... My wife seems to be addicted!
