Top notch place to enjoy a fantastic dining experience! Kate behind the bar is fabulous!! Food, service, and atmosphere is the best! Above and beyond food and service! Their wet aged beef offers no waste unlike dry aged. I've found my beef selections outstanding!! My only gripe would be getting in. They don't offer reservations but they offer call ahead which I've had no luck with. But if you can you get in you'll love it!!

What a gem of a new restaurant in Plymouth! A very varied menu, beef and seafood are specialties. Creative cocktails, huge salads. Everyone was thrilled with their various steaks - sirloin, filet, marinated tips. The meal and service were excellent! The manager stopped by to check in, which I appreciate. Space and decor were upscale - bar was lively, a bit loud, but all good. We can't wait to return!

Outstanding food and service. My friends had not tried this restaurant, but recommended it because they like the Hynes Group.

A friend and I were in Plymouth for a day trip and I mentioned 71 Degrees. She took a look at the reviews on one site and said we're going somewhere else. We parked nearby to see that Rock, so when it was time to eat, my friend said let's check it out. The restaurant is beautiful! The furnishings look brand new. We arrived around 3PM on a Sunday in November 2023. The place was packed. Friendly hostess seats us by a window with a wonderful view of the patio and ocean.

The complimentary bread with the whipped butter and olive oil in separate small bowls: hot, fresh, and fantastic. My friend usually skips the bread -- not that day. She took half of the loaf. This is one of the best restaurant breads I have ever tasted.

The Berry Beet Salad was another winner. Beets and blackberries were lovely. More berries or cheese would have heightened the flavor profile. My friend and I split the salad.

I was trying to decide between the Reuben sandwich and the meatloaf. Our amazing server recommended the meatloaf instead, the portions are really good. The server was totally correct. I usually don't take how many leftovers and I had to box more than half the meatloaf. The meatloaf was excellent prepared and had sautéed onions and mushroom sauce over it with a substantial amount of mashed potatoes. Green beans were also excellent. The friend had the Schrod. she asked the server if she could get less of the potatoes and more of the green beans. The server asked if she wanted double the green beans instead of the potatoes. That worked out really well.

For dessert, I'm allergic to peanut butter so we couldn't get the first item. I believe my friend and I said we didn't like bread pudding that much. And we spoke to the server and asked her what customers liked and she recommended the bread pudding. So we got that and the bread pudding at 71° is unlike any bread pudding we've ever had. First of all the portion was huge and more than enough for two people. The second thing I noticed was the texture of the bread pudding was very light in texture which I liked, more like a fluffy chiffon cake. I really appreciated all the whipped cream, the strawberries, the cinnamon ice cream, and the caramel. I would be happy to order it again.

Frankie was our server. If there were awards for service, Frankie would get them. She was attentive, checked up on us frequently, refilled our drinks, took our pictures at our request, had a great attitude, and gave great food recommendations.

The ambience was impressive. I found a noise levels were moderate, but nothing too loud, unlike what I've seen in other reviews. Women's bathroom is beautiful with blue bricks on the inside and gorgeous, shiny new fixtures. Even the stall doors were well-made with strong latches.

The restaurant is on a second floor, and there is an elevator that people can take or the stairs. There is no sign on the outside of the restaurant, but it seems like the town knows where this place is.

We stopped in after lights of hope to have dinner. I had heard mixed reviews so was a little hesitant but it was delicious. I had the steakhouse meatloaf , my hubby had the pork chop and our son had the bolognese. Everything was delicious. We starting with the sticky ribs they were tasty. The bread with the butter and the pesto they bring out first was fabulous. Will def be back

Really great place. Will probably be unbelievably busy in the summer. Good prices for a steakhouse too. Sushi is good and calamari was great. I loved the bread they gave you to start off. Drinks were yummy and strong! Atmosphere is great.

Went here with a steakhouse in mind, we were highly impressed! The restaurant was very busy, we managed to get a seat at the bar while we waited for our table.

Oysters to start followed by 6oz filet and cowboy ribeye. The sides were excellent, garlic mashed and green beans plus lobster tail to top everything off.

Honestly didn’t have room for dessert, highly recommended will be back

Met friends for lunch. Dined at the bar. Stephen and Jen did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Jen’s cocktails were exceptional. She masterfully made our espresso martini and old fashioned. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon with crab and shrimp fried rice and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Fabulous ocean view. Will definitely be back!

The Owner “Kevin Hynes” has created a work of art with this restaurant. The atmosphere, Stunning Views of Plymouth Harbor from any seat. The Menu is Fantastic, The Food is Picture perfect and Tastes even better. The Service is on Point. 71 just became the best restaurant on the South Shore. Great Work.

The oceanview from 71 West is gorgeous! The staff are friendly & service is excellent. I loved the decor - the atmosphere was light & airy. Our food was delicious. The lobster carbonara had decent lobster chunks.

This place is Wonderful, the atmosphere is Amazing was there at 8 pm with party of 7 so had reservations, be prepared to wait if you don't. Bartenders and drinks were great. Our waitress Chantel was very friendly, attentive and made our Evening very enjoyable. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food.. Sushi, Calamari, steaks, seafood platter and Mac and cheese All wonderful. I had lobster crab cakes, flavor was amazing but did feel because of price and size there should be 3 not 2. That being said I would still order them again. We all drove about 40 minutes from Weymouth and Taunton and would do it again and would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I visited this restaurant last night for our date night. The vibe of the restaurant is fun and swanky. The decorations are amazing. We were waiting-listed for about 30 minutes (we arrived at 6:30pm on a Thursday night).
My husband got the steak tips and I got the queen prime rib. They were both outstanding. The sides were just ok, nothing special. The view of the harbor makes it feel like you're on a boat, so that was fun too. The restaurant is very loud and the music was especially loud as well. Would probably be fine to bring kids to since it was already so loud :)
Editing to add we found it quite pricey for the food. Expect to spend at least $40/pp for food alone.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Warm accepting environment and the food is so delicious and affordable!! Five stars is not enough to give this place. Beautiful view of the waterfront and employees are very very kind and happy and have just the right amount of interaction with the people they are serving! Will definitely be coming back :))

Fantastic experience. Great food with good portions. Try the lobster carbonara. 🦞 The clam chowder is delightful , and the filet mignon just melts in your mouth like butter.

We had a family dinner with 11 of us in the small room. Everything went very smoothly and it was fun being in the small room . The food was amazing. We are all looking forward to returning. Thank you staff of 71 degrees West for a fantastic day.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in town. We had such a great experience today. The only downside was that the service was a little slow - but the amazing food, friendly staff, and beautiful ambience and views made up for any delays we experienced. We will definitely be back soon!

You will not be disappointed! The owner did a fantastic job in creating a beautiful ambience and the hostesses were extremely accommodating! The menu is phenomenal and the steak selection is over the top! Wowza!! I’ll be back for sure, but simmah down on the spicy cocktail sauce! Ouch! 😉 It is much too hot (in my opinion) and fyi, I’ve worked at several 5 Star restaurants around The United States of America over the years! 🇺🇸 Lastly, best of luck 🍀 to all of the staff as I truly know THIS restaurant will be a 10 for the town of Plymouth! 💃🏻

Just had drinks. They were good and very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great. Surprised the seats at the bar don’t face the ocean view.
