Primos Bar & Grill

This place was recommended to us by a customer of mine and it didn’t disappoint. The smoked old fashioned was good and the burgers where amazing. The only negative was the server was not the friendliest person this particular evening and I had to ask for silverware. This being said it was only a minor glitch in our dining experience and we will be back.

Sheesh! Do you see these pictures? Best dang food in Good ol Rochester. The smash burger with cheese is a staple and the Mac n Cheese is crispy and delicious. The Smoke on the Water drink with smoked bourbon is a must have and makes you feel like a real Cowboy in the wild Midwest. If you are ever in Rochester, make sure to stop here. Our waitress provided quick and friendly service and always with a smile. Thank you Primos!

Why didn’t I know about this place sooner?! We had the pulled pork and slaw sandwich and it was one of the best I ever tasted! Nothing sickly sweet about it but delicious down to the last bite. My sister got the smash burger and she loved that too. It was two thin patties with crispy edges of cheese on a toasted bun. Yum! I’m going back to try their other stuff. They told us they are working on a new menu. Atmosphere was old style pub and there was a/c.

Update: came for a second visit the next day to try the cocktails, tried the smoke on the water and it was unbelievable. A must try for whisky lovers

So delicious! I was in Rochester for a few days and ate here twice. The Primos burger was fantastic, as were the fries. Highly recommend. I'll be back to try more of the dishes!

We found this place on way to watch a michigan football game and it was very good. The smashburger was excellent. My buddies had the tacos and heard the pulled pork was the best taco he has ever had. Drinks were great and everyone that worked there was great. I wish I had seen the peanut butter and jelly burger on menu...heard it is very good..next time!

Amazing food, very well portioned and reasonably priced. Great staff, our waitress was waiting 4 tables on top of ours and she was on top of it! Not one table was waiting on her. My fiance and I were in there for dinner for the first time and will for sure be returning. Great job!

My wife and I went here for the first time this evening. At first I was disappointed when I saw the menu because it was mostly just sandwiches. But when we got our food we were pleasantly surprised - delicious! Drinks were great as well. The "Screwed Up" is really, really good - peanut butter whiskey, fresh coffee, cinnamon, and some other goodness. Great experience. Great date night.

Everything was very good!! We ordered the brisket sandwich. I had the gluten free bun and asked about the BBQ sauce, the owner came over to the table and informed us that the mole bbq sauce was not gluten free, but they substituted the regular BBQ that was gluten free. They also said both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were gluten free. My mother had the regular brisket sandwich and she said she loved the mole BBQ sauce. We both had to ask for some extra sauce for our sandwiches, but that’s probably because we are used to southern BBQ having lived in the south. My grandmother had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. She said hers was very good and she liked the coleslaw that was on the sandwich. The items said they were spicy, but none of them were very hot at all, which we enjoyed. They bring a large bottle of water to the table so we were able to refill our waters, which was great!

Loved the fish tacos and the fish and chips! Really I loved everything I've tried so far! Better than any restaurant in South Bend/ Mishawaka/Granger area!

Delicious food and generous portions. Their burger was outstanding. Staff was friendly and efficient. One of the owners chatted with us. He was very personable and hard working. We will definitely be back.

I loved their food. My family and I went to Indiana to drop off my son at college and we wanted to eat. Well, the city he was staying in did not have restaurants that got our attention so we drove for an hour and we came across this restaurant. They have very good food and trust me my family and I know about food. We are from Cali and we eat different kind of dishes this place remind us of Cali. I will definitely come again.

My wife and I had lunch there. Great service and amazing food. Brisket and The Melt were so good! The house made BBQ,house made pickles, the house made fry sauce, and the house made ranch set this place apart! We can’t wait to bring the kids and enjoy it again!

We’ve been here twice and have absolutely loved it both times! The owner is a cool dude and the food is absolutely amazing! The carne asada fries are probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten and the burgers are worth every penny. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!
