Yannis Cafe

First time havin anything but breakfast from here. Burger was really good and man did it come out hot and fast! Fries were nice and crispy. The coleslaw was not good at all though. No flavor at all. Tasted like just Mayo. No sign of salt and pepper at all. Other than that food was great and service was phenomenal as usual.

Worth the short drive off I-57. Quaint cafe with excellent food and friendly staff.

OPA! Greek family owned. I love mom and pop places. It's a cute, hole in the wall diner. The food was excellent. With a wide variety of items on it. Me and my father really enjoyed the coffee! We both got omelettes and they were huge! I can't wait to come back again! The waitress was so friendly as well! Until next time!

On our cross country road trip on RT 66, we drove to Chicago from Nashville and stopped at Yannis Cafe for breakfast. We are happy to say that Yannis gets our Best Breakfast in America award. Thank you for your dedicated staff and super good food.

Nice little diner to come for breakfast. Service is quick and with a smile. Very friendly staff. Country like atmosphere which is suitable for area. Will be back. 🤭

Yanni's is the best around ! Food is phenomenal and the staff is wonderful!

First time there and we found the food to be delicious and the wait staff to be on top of things. Very good and would recommend stopping in.

I had a Country Skillet that was very good, plus I was able to get it without green peppers. The place is so popular that there was a constant group of people standing near the door to get in or by the register to pay and leave.

My coworkers decided to drop in for breakfast. Friendly staff and good food. Larger portions. You can't go wrong with any of the skillet platters. The BLT was great and their grilled cheese with bacon was on point. We will definitelybe back.

Friendly cafe serving bottomless coffee (seriously, you'll never see the bottom inside of your cup here, they're quick with coffee!), warm soup, sandwiches, breakfast, burgers, wraps, and salads. Servers were very quick and attentive, incredible service. Price was great, cozy interior, friendly people. I saw several people come inside for take-out orders.

Been going here for years. Love this little diner! The food is good, the staff friendly and competent, service is fast and it is very affordable. Family run, family atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. My husband orders the skillets and they are very plentiful. I got the cinnamon toast, french toast and it was awesome! Yum!

Visited here on a Sunday, before noon. There was about a 20 minute wait to be seated The place was PACKED! There were a lot of staff and what I assume were the owners running all over and quickly taking care of tables. We were seated in a timely manner, the wait staff was quick, honest, our food came out quickly, and no complaints from our party of 5. During our time there, the place emptied out pretty quickly, we apparently got there at the end of a rush, probably a typical late Sunday morning crowd we believe.

They're busy most times I'm there, but I've only had to wait for a table once. The staff is friendly and it has that perfect small town feel, with some staff members and customers being on a first name basis.

Their food is also phenomenal, and I implore you, TRY THEIR SOUPS. They're the best ones I've had at a restaurant (especially their cream of chicken with rice served on Sundays).

I suppose the various tastes of people must be one of the most difficult things for a restaurant to deliver on. I have dined at Yanni's several times and always found the food to be of the highest quality. While I don't live in Manteno full-time, (I work in Chicago during the week), I often stop here. The staff is always extremely friendly and very attentive.
The only drawback, if such it could be called, is that the cafe is somewhat limited in size- and, of course, this can't be helped. They do an excellent job of accommodating the greatest number of people possible- without the cafe seeming overcrowded. My recommendation? This is an excellent place to eat, the staff is outstanding, and the food is very, very good. I highly recommend!

Went for breakfast with my family and I got a skillet to kinda try everything they had to offer for breakfast. I was not disappointed, my meal was huge and reasonably priced. They were also very accommodating to my young child and very friendly. Only complaint is that because it is so good it's very busy and there really wasn't any place to wait to be seated without feeling in the way, but luckily we didn't wait for to long. We will definitely be back.
