Due to COVID and backorder issues it took over 12 weeks to get our propane stove.
It is not the stores fault it’s manufacturing backorder issues, Jim always called my wife right back when she had questions about status.. when having it installed my father in law raved about how professional they were laying blankets down and vacuumed when finished. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends!!
Have patience it’s worth the wait! My dog Petey loves it too!!

Plymouth fireplace recently helped my wife and I select the appropriate gas fireplace for our needs. The running of the gas line, installation of the meter, and the final setup and testing of the new fireplace was very well handled and they are very organized and professional. I used Plymouth Fireplace to convert my 60 year old wood burning fireplace to gas. They carry a wide selection of gas inserts for customers preferring a value solution as well as those with no budget. One of the key selling points for me is that they could provide a one stop installation solution using a team of professionals they work with regularly.
The team ( included Ryan from Plymouth Fireplace, a plumber, electrician and gas contractor) showed up for the install as promised and worked quickly and efficiently to install the insert. They were professional and made sure I was comfortable operating the unit.
It’s been a year since they installed my new gas fireplace and I am extremely happy with it. After using it for a while I had some questions, and Ryan quickly responded to my calls and came by to confirm that everything was working as it should. Plymouth Fireplace exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience and couldn't be happier! My husband was a "go big or go home" kinda guy when it came to designing and building our living room! The wood burning fireplace he built could fit a full size pig for roasting!! Needless to say it wasn't very efficient and was a constant source of cold air in the winter. Jim walked us through every step to installing a gas insert, special order of course due to the size. The process took some time due to circumstances on our end, we were in the middle of a home refi that took forever, the special order and sourcing out a propane company. Throughout the process, Jim stayed in constant contact with us. Ryan and his assistant installed the unit and were efficient and extremely personable, especially with my mom and son. I'm writing this review, basking in the warmth and beauty of my new fireplace and I'm so happy! Thank you gentlemen!!

In cleaning my gas fireplace insert, I discovered my rock wool embers we’re practically dust so I vacuumed them up along with with everything else. To my horror I found out I had insufficient replacement of “embers”! I wanted to finish this job n close up insert n turn gas back on. Easy...I’ll just go get some!
Well, no hardware store not big block store sells in store n online even Amazon prime failed me. No delivery for at least 3-5 days.
So I called fireplace stores in my area n beyond. Being Sunday, I found either most closed or the few that were open didn’t carry them in stock!
At 2:15PM, I reached Jim n Gary at Fireplace n Stove Shop in Plymouth. MA...40 miles away. He was empathetic to my dilemma n offered to scrounge up some rock wool embers by taking out of their displays, if he had to!
One problem...they closed at 4. By mistake, I entered Court Ave. instead of Court St. into my Gps and was taken to wrong place. I called seeing it was 3:55PM.
Jim said I was 15 minutes away; but although the door would be locked, they’d wait for me.
They were there with a bag of embers for me at no charge mind you “seeing I had to drive all that way”!
They accommodated a total stranger n certainly not a regular customer at that distance. I was so grateful and wish these people were in business near me! If they treat a non customer like this, just imagine how good they treat their real customers. ...lucky people!

Leo and Peter were excellent representatives of Plymouth Fireplace; they were on time, neat and through. They explained what they were doing and what I should do to keep my uit running well

Very welcoming hearth shop. It is obvious that the customer comes first here. I enjoyed my visit to their showroom.

Bought one of those ventless gas stoves from these nice folks, and it was the best investment I have made. Works great and heats my whole cellar in a three bedroom ranch style home. They also service these units.

Just happened to go there this week with my son and his girlfriend and they were so nice very helpful very clean and very well operated store you can find things that you wouldn't see in other places that carry all types of wood burning stoves propane fireplaces and they located in Plymouth at on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 10 thank you God bless Patty brescia

I was looking for a 45°elbow, something you won't get @the big box stores (I looked). He came out with one that had a miniscule scatch on it and gave it to me, no charge. They will definitely get my business in the future.

Len is always very helpful and courteous. I have shopped in this store many times and always find him to have so much knowledge. I always recommend him to my friends.

Although they could not make the original installation date, they were upfront about problem, stated in communication throughout the whole process and made sure we were happy. I would recommend them.
