Their wild mushroom ravioli in Alfredo sauce is to die for!The last time i ordered it, they were out of ravioli, and the chef made an Alfredo gnocchi, and it was the bomb !
Service is always awesome, and everyone is always friendly and very entertaining. Outdoor seating is very adorable.

Coming off the AT wet, cold and a little defeated, Nick welcomed me like I was a brother and even made special arrangements for me to stay an extra night. I can't wait to get back to Monson and repay for his kindness someday soon.

Absolutely perfect. The food was great and I'm a very, very picky eater. Wait staff was polite and quick. Prices are fair. Great view of the lake as well. Would recommend.

Across the street from the Appalachian Trail Center sits The Lakeshore House. Many folks hear of Shaw's which is around the corner and a wonderful space, but Lakeshore provides for a more laidback, less chaotic space.

The Lakeshore House Hostel has ample space for privacy and communal sharing - as is common amongst AT hikers. The pub is a fun-filled space, with jiving music, tasty food, and affordable drinks.

If you get the chance - run and jump straight off the dock into the lake, it's a breathtaking experience.

Didn't stay overnight , just had drinks and dinner. Everything was very good. Was a rainy day, so couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view of the water. But we could see it through the window. Staff are very friendly and nice. Great drinks and food. Seating in bar area and small dining room in back. Plus ,outside table's with umbrellas.

Stayed here during my '22 AT thru-hike. One of pf my favourites on the entire 2.194 miles. Mike is the best host you could wish for. Recommended 10/10

Great ambiance and food. The wood tables inside have a cool design and sitting lakeside is refreshing on a nice day. Food items are reasonably priced and delicious. This restaurant is hiker friendly.

Nice place sat outside on the picnic tables looking out at the lake. They are understaffed which is understandable. We watched our waitress run herself ragged. Very nice lady did a good job. Food was pretty good. Also had the scallops wrapped in bacon they were delicious!

Visited The Lakeshore House just after finishing the 100 Mile Wilderness on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The place was busy and the fryer was down but the staff handled it all with expertise and grace. Beers were served promptly and the pizza was awesome. Very good experience for a very good price!

It's a little pub on the shore of a beautiful lake. Paddle in, swim, it's casual. Indoors is fine if a bit close, but there's a separate dining room if you need more space. It's got the regular line up of bar food PLUS some surprising additions like escargot and a Thai peanut sauce veggie stir fry. There's a rotating selection of beer on tap plus the 'regulars.'

This our Cheers. Great food. Great wine and the locals plus those from away. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with beautiful view of Lake Hebron. We snowmobile from Greenville in the winter to enjoy the atmosphere.

My dad and I stayed with Nick for two nights during an AT section hike. Nick and all staff were super nice, helpful, and easy to work with. Rates are reasonable. Pub food was very good (definitely recommend the fish fry!). Room and shared facilities are very clean and well kept. Highly recommended!

I love this place, the new owners are amazing and really engage with the customers. The food is top notch and they always have specials that will blow you away. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my wife had the wild mushroom ravioli for our last dinner and it was excellent. They have fresh home made cheesecakes that one of their staff makes with different flavors that will surprise your pallet. The bruschetta is awesome and I do suggest to anyone who visits. You can also stay upstairs in the inn which overlooks the lake behind the building.

My husband and I stopped for lunch and so glad we did. It is the best meal we have had out in a long time. They know how to make a real steak sub which you don't get often these days. The fries were different but so delicious and I'm fussy about my fries. Even the unsweetened cranberry ice tea hit the spot
The service was excellent. I know the next time we come to Maine we will eat here again.
