I have visited a patient on two separate occasions, in the spring of 2016 and the summer of 2017. It seems crucial improvements were made during that span of time. Nurses can be found on the units (making the facilities' past structure seem absurd given the fact that it is foremost a hospital). Bridgewater no longer seems overrun by the petty corrections officers that used to love to throw their weight around.

This "rehab" offers very little in actual positive impact on it's "residents". It is a Jail where you are treated as a prisoner not a individual with a problem.If you haven't actually been through this "program" you have NO clue what goes on there.DO NOT believe anyone who tells you differently.It exists to make money for the state and to pretend to be a solution to the states drug & alcohol problems.. If you don't believe me go to court,,section 35 yourself and check it out... Yes,I WAS there 2x last year.. why twice? the 1st time had me running for a drink within 1 hr. of being set free.. the ONLY reason I gave it 1 star is because that is the ONLY way to get the "post" button to appear. And Good luck to anyone wanting to "Tour" the facility..that's NOT gonna happen,,they do not want you to see what goes on there. Do yourself or loved one a favor,Find a REAL detox !

I was in there for 24 days 14 in solitary for arguing with the staff about my non
Controlled psyc./seizure/blood thinner meds that were not right and the bullying I couldn't take it, I got jumped by 4 co's thrown I "solitary" while they mased 3 other inmates to calm the jail down because I did nothing wrong. and it was absolutely 0 amount of caring or rehabilitation. Oh yeah they wont haive you(bring you to a court date) they drop you off at brockton court with a default warrant and none of your canteen money, co's in jails and prisons show a much higher level of respect. These guys are power tripping while you withdraw and at your lowest. P.s there are psychiatric patients just thrown in with rehabers because they have to keep it full.... m.a.t.c in brockton is %1000 better!.. my 1 star is for the co's shove up there ...

This detox is more like a jail!! I just got off the phone with my husbands case manager and he quoted that he didn't care about the family members that are involved only my husbands addiction!! Which was a little confusing to me!! My husbands addiction has affected myself and our son but that doesn't matter!!! We have been lied to by the case manager numerous times!! I don't recommend sending any of your loved ones to this detox!!

My spn wad sent there to save his life. Big mistake. Horrible cobditions and he was seen as a criminal. Spent 2 days in solitary for a minor infraction. Really? Putting a addict in solotary? Would not even give him a bible. Then he decided to get the vivatrol shot and case worker lied over and over. Wpuld not release him until the day before he could get the shot. Said wad toi much of a risk. Went to get the shot and its a3 hour intake then a 3 week wait to get the shot!!!! Lied to keep him there longer. Just a money maker. So Bridgewater and Jamie Chapman put my son at huge risk by lying repeatedly.

Please do yoyr research. Everybody deserves to have a chance at getting better but this is not the route to take. If you are truly at wits end, get a bed for them at a real rehab, pick them up and bring them there and say it is either that or get sectioned bc most addicts have heard the misery of this place so they will happily go into the real rehab. Only place you will send your skinny, ill loved one and they will actually lose weight becauss there is barely anything to eat (less than the actual prisoners there.) Again please exhaust every other option before this one, and dont listen to the courts cuz they will tell you that your loved one is going to a real rehab. They have a slim chance of that happening, MADC is a decent place but is always full so they will 90% of time get sent to this hellhole, MASAC.

This place is a joke nothing but racist in the staft members , I would give them no stars but in order for me to write thus review I had to give a star .if u love ur family member do not I repeat do not section 35 them there they treat people that need help like scum n try to run it like a prison THEY ARE NOT A PRISON it's in a complete different facility from the prison and a complete different address but still they seem to think they running a prison the court will paint u a pretty flower on this facility and it's far from that it's more like a thorn bush .I'm ready to file an OCR on the facility the head of the facility hung up in my face when I told her I was going to file an OCR then had the nerve to call my husband to her to tell him to tell me not to call there when I was calling to find out why my husband been there a week n hadn't been to any group or received his sticker yet when he was medically cleared 3 days after going in there she had the nerve to tell him that for all she cares I can call the government on her n she wouldn't care. People go to these places to seek help not to get treated like they are pieces of crap if u don't know how to help people in a mannerly manner than find a different career path . That's probably y the facility is gonna be closing down in less then 18 days . No business for them because they are an unbearable facility and nobody wants to go there . So please do ur research on a good drug and alcohol facility that doesn't make their patients want to kill themselves. My bf wanted help so he sectioned himself to go there. The whole thing is a joke aka 30 day bid. Now he's in an actual rehab thanks a lot masac way to help.

Horrible place for a loved one. Wouldn't put my dog in there for a weekend. DO NOT section your loved one to this place.

Horrible! Its a jail setting run by the department of corrections. Do not section 35 your loved ones thinking this place will change them..it is a joke

This place is more like a prison. If you come here, you will regret it so please be warned.

Horrible. Automatic 30 to 90 days where your a prisoner with a prisoner ID department of corrections clothes, and a bunch of people who don't care about you

They torture you here and your a prisoner. Report them!
