Quality meats. Guacamole has a nice kick! 🥑 Friendly and fast service! Hot sauce is HOT! Gluten free options. Dedicated fryer for corn chips! Spoke with the check out guy and he explained clearly their process for allergies. Authentic Mexican is hard to find around here, love this place!

Atmosphere means all outdoors, picnic tables. Rio's is the best restaurant stop in New Buffalo. Awesome food, non-tourist prices, freshly made, friendly people.

What a fantastic place! Got the veggie quesadilla with Everything! So delicious! Chips were homemade and pico was fresh! Fun outdoor seating. Will definitely return! Friendly staff and good prices.

My hubby loves Mexican food, for his birthday we came here. First off the Horchatas are GIANT and very delicious, the food was amazing we were so impressed and satisfied. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch and got chicken tacos. They were delicious !! Better than any taco in the LaPorte area ! Only outside seating at picnic tables

Get the steak tacos. Be minimalist what you add. You may need to take some onion out of the serving. The cilantro is a must however. The horchata is large enough and sweet enough to make three steak tacos dwell in happiness. But the best part? Eating your takeout overlooking the lake, a 5 minute drive. Mexican meets Michigan.

I love being able to see all of the Rio's family members there smiling. It's a beautiful thing and that's how their dad was. Great food and hasn't barely changed since pops was doing it
