Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse

Despite being private property, the family that vacations here left a sign encouraging pedestrian access to their beach! Such a treat, and one that I ask y'all to respect by picking up trash, not ripping up the road, etc.

The lighthouse is privately owned and not open to public. You can access the shore around the property from a short trail near the property gate. You need a side-by-side or ORV to get to the lighthouse - trail is not large enough for a car or truck.

Hidden gem, sometimes only accessible by foot or orv. It is on private property, guests are welcome to view the light house but please be respectful

Great time as always, at family log cabin! Visited light house. My dad grew up in, during summers, when his family had it! Hazy this week, do to Canada wildfires! Still, beautiful weather!😎🏚🛺⛴🌞🏖

Love the lighthouse and the island! It's a different world!

Very neat, lots of history. You can drive to it with a small four-wheel drive SUV, definitely not with a full size truck.
