The Modern Barbershop

Definitely not what I expected. I was actually taken back when I walked in and saw 7 barbers chairs with all of them filled.

I had my haircut by Deklan, who's a former city guy like me, so we got along really well.

Overall, I think this place really delivers on it's branding by providing an updated and dare I say, "modern" vibe. The only thing I was disappointed with was that it was cash only, which I think could use some modernization.

Love bringing my 7 year old son here. Jay is so great with him. My son is not a fan of getting his hair cut and Jay always knows how to calm him down and give him a great haircut. All the work I see all of the barbers doing is incredible. Highly recommend this shop! Pictures below are before and after.

Great establishment. The people who run this place are second to none and you will always leave happy with your haircut. Very professional and the inside of the barbershop is extremely clean and kept up.

A real old school barber shop feel with an updated decore with a bunch of great personalities there to choose from, all of which do an exceptional service to your head! Definitely recommend 👌🏻

I went here today for the first time. This will now be where I continue to go. The staff are friendly and greet you when you come through the door. The place is clean and comfortable to wait. Every cut I saw in the chairs where great. Best hair cut I’ve had in a long time. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

My son has sensory and auditory processing disorder. The staff here are very understanding and accommodating. They make my son feel comfortable, allowing us to complete the cut.

Great haircuts and atmosphere. Moves right along. At busy times you may have to wait a while, but it is worth it for a top notch cut, and they really take their time and make sure your haircut is perfect before they are done.

Great crew of experienced barbers. Friendly staff with friendly conversations. This place is what you want a local barber shop to be.

In the last few years, I've struggled to find a barbershop that was cool, down to earth, and had employees that know how to cut hair not just stylists that work at a place that says barbershop out front.
Never fear my dear readers, because Modern Barbershop has you covered! I've gotten haircuts from a few of the barbers, although Jay and I have a great hair-cutee and haircutter relationship.
My only suggestion: put the office on the t.v. from time to time.

All masters at the craft, never a bad experience going there. One time I did ask for a skull scraper and was not let down.
