Kimball Lake Campground

This place is small and quiet and makes for a peaceful camping experience. It I'd also one of the cleanest campgrounds I've been to. Even though we were there over a holiday weekend they made sure to keep all the concrete porta pottys clean and stocked with tp. The lake is beautiful with all kinds of wild life and a fun 2 mile trail that goes around the lake. It's not huge or well maintained but the amount of foot travel makes it easy to spot out and fun for you and your pups!

Kimball lake campground is a cozy little spot just up the gunflint. Plenty of space between the sites for a more outdoorsy experience. Great access to a trout lake and plenty of nature.

All the campgrounds up in this area are pretty simple but amazing with great views tucked into the forest. Be aware you are living with lots of wildlife and as long as your wise about your trash etc you shouldn't have any problems.

We had the worst experience, it rained our entire trip. Otherwise, it was a really nice campground. Would not recommend. Class A U.S. Forest Service campground with great sites

Gone there my whole life! I love the woods. They have a nice trail around the lake. Its also really close to mink lake that had a huge rock that's great to enjoy the day.

If you want to catch rainbow trout go here. We have always caught trout trolling with artificial crayfish lures.

Always a great place to camp! Clean restroom garbage on site. Fun lake to fish

Bathrooms are very nice. Campground isn't too crowded.

This place it's great for fishing and camping only thing is they don't reserve spots

Hiked the Fisherman's Path. Nice and easy trail around the lake.
