The Yellow Deli Plymouth

We recently visited this cute restaurant with a lot of character. I felt the place was quite comforting. The staff were some of the nicest people we ran into in Plymouth and so welcoming. I tried their Turkey Sandwich which was AMAZING! I also felt prices were a great deal! We love to return if we travel back again! I love sandwiches!

I've got to say, I've never been one to evangelize for a deli. I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of soup and I get my daily bread through means other than sandwiches. That being said the food here is so good it will make you see God. You also have to try their root beer in a frosted mug. It's a religious experience.The atmosphere in here is also wonderful. I can only imagine the small hands required for such precision woodworking. There is truly a youthful elegance to the craftsmanship. After eating here they've got a convert for life.

I was in town in Plymouth around Thanksgiving and found this hidden gem. It's not just a restaurant, but an experience! It is lovely inside with beautiful paintings and dignified pilgrim-like ambience. The turkey cranberry sandwich was the perfect reminder of fall in Massachusetts. No other restaurant in town has anything like it. My waitress let me sample all the mate' at my table before I selected a full size mango. Quite refreshing. Plus even though the market had just closed, I was given the VIP sales treatment and picked out a few things like carob brownie and more mate'. Very friendly staff. Meal prices are phenomenally low given the high quality. Try it and enjoy!

We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Plymouth, Massachusetts. We chose this restaurant because of the fresh items and variety of healthy food offered on the menu (not to mention the affordable prices). A shopkeeper in town also referred The Yellow Deli as a great lunch spot. She said you could spend all day just looking at the woodwork and artisan details inside, adding that the people who purchased the building had really worked hard to rehabilitate and beautify the space. She was right.

Our family of 4 has decided that this was one of the best meals we enjoyed on our 8 day trip to New England! The space was cozy, the people were warm and friendly, and the food was outstanding. In fact, I will venture to say that this was the best lunch i've had in my entire life. The cranberry turkey sandwich was a delight in every single bite. Also, the sweet potato pound cake was an entire revolution. I could have stayed for hours, and I would want to come back for every single meal if I lived nearby.

Interestingly, The Yellow Deli also has a variety of Mate teas, which I understand come from their farm in Brazil. Our server, a charming and entertaining man named Hobab, brought samples of the lime mint Mate to our table and it was DELICIOUS!

I loved this place, and so did my husband and kids. Good vibes, homey, tasty, and affordable.

DELICIOUSNESS in every dish, from drinks to dessert. And if you thought it couldn’t get better than that, the atmosphere of the place and the joy of the servers and owners were TOPS.

We came here for warmth after whale watching, and we are so happy we landed at The Yellow Deli. This is a *must* when visiting Plymouth!

The food is soo good, the service is amazing, and the vibes are so nice

Good food! We got a Ruben sandwich and a veggie Burger and a kid's hot dog, carrot cake and the gobbler sandwich. All the sandwiches were served with potato chips and a pickle. The Rubin sandwich was the best corned beef I've had in Plymouth, it was tender and juicy and no fat. The only thing I can say is the next time I will order extra corned beef on it. It looks like extra corned beef is only a $1.75 And that's pretty good considering the sandwich was only around $10. I'm just used to a larger sandwich since I come from the New York area But it was a darn good sandwich. I was very happy with the kids hot dog.The minute I saw it I said that's a Hebrew national, and I love Hebrew nationals it's the only hot dog I eat. Everyone else was very pleased with the gobbler sandwich and the veggie Burger.I don't know what kind of pickle it was I was eating but whatever it was it was really delicious. I'm thinking maybe they make their own. I never tasted a pickle like that before, it was good. The carrot cake was also very good. The cream cheese frosting wasn't super Sweet,It was perfect. We will definitely be reordering.

We LOVE the Yellow Deli! We were VERY HAPPY to find it in Plymouth! We used to eat at the Coxsackie, NY location. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean!

The food here is incredible, especially the salmon sandwich. Another must try is the fruit parfait, banana bread and their fruit smoothies. I get the salmon sandwich almost every single time I go there every week. The service is always top-notch! The prices are fair, and the ambiance is excellent too.
When I go there, I feel like l've been taken back to the pilgrim time era because of the unique old fashion look of the interior design.

These people are the nicest and hardest working group- very smart and friendly. They get a tough rep because they’re a community, however I firmly believe they have life down. Minimalist, old-fashioned, artistic, and the food is incredible. The menu is unlike any menu you’ve ever seen before. I love the waffle with fruit, their butter, which is absolutely incredible, their chili is the best chili I’ve ever had, and we often call for the soup of the day because it’s so good every time the soup is always healthy, and I’ve never had a negative experience here.

The Yellow Deli has been under construction for the last 6 years and now it has open. You can see why it took 6 years to build this restaurant. The attention to detail is unbelievable. This place is breathtaking. Such a welcoming feeling from everyone that works at the yellow deli, they make you feel like your at home. The Food is easily a 10/10. Everything is homemade. Everything is fresh. Everything is made with love. I look forward to coming back again and again. Congratulations Yellow Deli / Twelve Tribes, you just became a landmark in Plymouth.

I went here before with my cute partner when we first started dating and we got honey buns and a cookie and we came by tonight for more! We got the banana milk with carab chocolate and a soft and sweet piece of carrot cake that was perfect. The service was so good the guy didn’t pressure us and he made us feel at home. The inside of this place is beautiful and crafted nice with the benches and the pictures also lights you feel like if you could turn back time you’d want to live in this simplicity and enjoy the real things in life such as this great restaurant. And each others company. I love coming here.

We were visiting Plymouth and we were very excited to see a Yellow Deli. We have previously gone to the Oneonta Yellow Deli and we love the food there. Our food was delicious and the service was fantastic! This location also has a shop next door which has lots of locally made products.

We are vacationing in the area and we’re glad we stopped at this place. They have a beautiful wood craftsmanship and design in the entire restaurant. The staff especially Nadive (I hope I spelled his name right) has been very welcoming and gave us a brief history of the restaurant- yellow deli and gave us booklets as well about the history in Plymouth. The food we ordered were all delicious. The price are all reasonable and no hidden charges like the other restaurant in the waterfront area. They also have a market in the ground floor where you an buy assorted stuff from bake goods to household items. We’ll surely be back when we’re in the area again.

We love the Yellow Deli so much that we go every week.When it’s closed, my friend and I can’t find anywhere that comes close to the delectable food, affordable prices, and warm and inviting atmosphere. My friend coined the term Yellow Deli Happy Belly. Tell them Lisa and Kathy sent you!

This place is so cool. The craftsmanship is incredible & there are plenty of places to sit. Loved the hot tea options as well as the root beer in a frosty mug! Started off with the cauliflower soup — so yummy & same with the homemade bread on the side! Bristol Fillet was delicious as well. Will definitely be back. Really neat to have a nice local 24/5 dining option!

Their cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious! They’re nice and soft and the glaze tastes like caramel. These are so good warmed up with a cup of tea. Staff are always very friendly.

Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was something out of story book. The food was grate especially the waffle. The food was reasonably priced

We found this place yesterday and have been there twice now. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is relaxing while inviting.
I’m gonna say it even though it’s not politically correct nowadays, but this business was built on Christian beliefs. They are a great group of people and I will visit them again. You should go check them out.
