The innkeeper (Kevin) is welcoming, kind, and helpful.

There's nothing better at the end of the day than settling in to a warm living room with red wine, port, beer, and cookies set out for guests.

Charming! Kevin (host) was lovely as was my room. Breakfast was hearty AND delicious. Lots of nice extras if one wants to take advantage of them such as late afternoon goodies or evening wine, hot tub outside, pretty backyard. Excellent internet. And a great location. Hope to visit again!

What a magical experience! Kevin Is one of the best hosts, and cooked us a phenomenal and super healthy breakfast (with local ingredients! 😍). It is so rare that you find a host that truly cares about making sure you’re well fed, comfortable, and having a wonderful time in the town. He had so many great recommendations for local hikes, sights, eateries, and also provided snacks and beverages free of charge.
As for the room, Kevin offered my friend and I a larger room free of charge since it was not booked for the night. Superb host, cozy and clean room, and I felt completely comfortable and cared for.
I would visit Plymouth again simply just to stay at the federal house inn!

I had a lovely room with a four poster bed and loads of pillows. En-suite bathroom with claw foot tub. and original wood flooring in suite and fireplaces still in place. Complimentary breakfasts were culinary delights. Truly appreciated the small dining room mini bar with access to tea, coffee and water bottles throughout the day. Lots to do in the mountain region of NH, and lots of nearby restaurants. Check out the hot tub after a long busy day! The inn is cozy and comfortable, Kevin is a kind, well spoken host, and welcoming to all guests. Will definitely be back! 👍👍👍👍👍

This was an amazing bed and breakfast. Kevin was such a fantastic and kind host who also doubles as an incredible chef. We were brought to the area for a high school graduation but will absolutely be back specifically because of how great this stay was.

Our stay at Kevin's Ferderall Inn was absolute fantastic. The room was perfect, the bed was the best we ever had. The breakfast was so amazing, like in a high quality restaurant. Kevin was so nice and kind. The garden is lovely and great to relax in. Best B&B in the world!

In town for a wedding and happy to have found this cozy, clean, historic inn. Kevin, the host, is friendly and kind; he makes you feel like you're staying with a family friend. Our room was very comfortable and the bed (Harry's room) was one of the most comfortable away-from-home beds ever.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Federal House Inn in Plymouth, NH. First, the house is located in the perfect place. Walking distance to a fun brewery and just minutes away from Main Street/downtown Plymouth. It is also ~15 minutes from climbing in Rumney. The house itself was comfortable and quaint. Kevin was a gracious and welcoming host, provided us with a delicious breakfast and awesome recommendations. They next time we're climbing up in Rumney, we would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly owner; clean, well kept, historic house; hot tub in back! Complimentary Port, wine & little appetizers. Very nice, homemade breakfast with a lot of effort put into everything here. Definitely a place to come at least once if you're in the area. 👍

this is a really perfect place. the historical texture of the room, the aesthetics of the building and also a quiet place. It is a perfect place where you can rest and relax. You can also spend a great time with the hot tub. breakfast is hand labor, very tasty. Kevin is an excellent person. The Inn Keeper Kevin goes way above and beyond to make you feel right at home from the minute you walk in. From all the extra touches of carrying your bags to your room, available treats, drinks, fresh flowers, extremely clean rooms, well provided toiletries, comfortable beds/bedding and hot tub availability everything was perfect. Then the bonus is a 5⭐ homemade breakfast by the Inn Keeper and served in a friendly dining area. I highly recommend staying in this B&B. Beautiful area close to so much to do! We will definitely go back when in the area!

Found the perfect spot for all 4 seasons in NH. Kevin was as accommodating as can be and we felt valued as guests from the moment we walked in. Breakfast was great, as was the hot tub after a long hike, and Kevin's dinner recommendation was spot on. We'll be back soon.

Also the room was amazing and very comfortable. And some great food places around pizza at the brewery next door and Thai in town! And last but not least the very nice jacuzzi outside is a wonderful treat after a long day. We will definitely visit again!!

I would absolutely recommend staying at the Federal House Inn. We were so lucky to have stumbled upon this wonderful place. It was our first true bed and breakfast experience, and it couldn't have been better. Kevin is a wonderful host who made us feel so welcome and clearly puts a lot of attention to details. The place was immaculate and had wonderful décor which fit with the history of the inn. He had a bottle of wine waiting upon our check-in and made us special breakfasts in the morning that were delicious. We also loved the hot tub. There is a cool restaurant/brewery only a few minutes walk away, which served delicious pizza among other things. This was a perfect stop on our way up to the White Mountains and we can't wait to come back!

This IS the place you want to stay! A true bed and breakfast. My husband and I came to stay and had such a good time we returned a few days later. Everything was wonderful. Kevin is an excellent host! The rooms are clean. There is no weird musty smell. The beds are comfortable. Fresh flowers in the room. Delicious breakfast in the morning, wine and cheese in the afternoon, sweets at night. There is also fruit, water, coffee & tea for the guests. I can't tell you how much of a difference all those little things make. The list of good things goes on and on...Hot tub, library with books, games, and movies. Great location...close to downtown plymouth, rumney rocks for rock climbing, and hiking trails. In walking distance there is a great brewery & grille with yummy food and good vibes. I definitely recommend The Federal House Inn!

This place is a gem. Kevin, our host, was immensely friendly and helpful (lent me a proper jacket for skiing), and he's a fantastic cook. Our farm to table breakfasts were healthy and delicious (eggs benedict and belgian waffles) and the afternoon wine and cheese followed by fresh baked treats are an added bonus. The sleeping accommodations were among the most comfortable and cozy we've ever experienced while traveling. While the hot tub might not be as enjoyable in the summer, we are already trying to plan a warm weather visit. I highly recommend Federal House Inn for any trip to this area.

What a find! My husband and I stole a night away while up in NH for work. The inn and rooms are beautiful and quintessential white mountains in all the best ways. The afternoon wine and cheese, hot tub and delicious breakfast made the experience just so comfortable and relaxing. Kevin is a great host! Tip: book through airBnB - so smooth and easy!

Lovely accommodations with a very friendly host. The breakfast was fantastic--freshly delivered eggs, local ham, and muffin made into an elegant eggs benedict accompanied by fresh asparagus and preceded by a beautiful grapefruit plate with berries. The room was well appointed and the historic house well preserved.

Great B&B. Kevin is super and very outgoing. He lives on site and makes an amazing breakfast. Best bed ever in Harry’s room.

Had such an amazing time! Kevin provided extraordinary hospitality and went out of his way to ensure we were settled in and comfortable. I can’t stop talking about that blueberry butter Kevin’s wife made that morning. The view from the room was so beautiful! Highly recommend this place!
