Genesis Health Clubs - Racquet Club

The Old Cheney Genesis location is getting close to finished with a major renovation. It’s looking great, and an awesome place to workout no matter what your fitness goals are. They’ve got tons of free weights, dumbbells, machines, cardio equipment, and plenty of floor space. At peak times it gets a little crowded, but nothing too bad.

The newly remodeled Genesis on old cheney is amazing!! I've been at this gym before and during Remodeling. So much more room and friendly staff. The gym is kept very clean ☺ looking forward for the indoor pool to open and to try the cold plunge after time in the dry sauna. There's so many classes offered and fitness trainers willing to help. Over all best gym in Lincoln in my book.

We were previous members and put that membership on hold during COVID. We recently rejoined. We worked with Ben and had some training sessions with Jeremy. We live close to the 70th St gym but like the option of using the other locations. Overall we have enjoyed our experience back at Genesis.

I encourage many of my friends to join this amazing health club and enjoy the outstanding ameneties they have. The staff is great, and very helpful. I have joy coming to Genesis to excercise. I love it, Ali

Just started working out again and have really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the updates they are doing. To kick things off I worked with Matt a personal trainer there, and he really helped guide me towards a great plan. Listened and understood some limitations I have from a car accident.

I enjoy attending all different types of classes at all three locations in Lincoln NE. All staff at each location have been wonderful.

The indoor pool and some of the rooms aren't done with all the renovations but it's very modern. Lots of workout equipment available.
Big new locker rooms.
Don't have to bring a lock they're already in the locker door. (No, not like the ones in school) You'll see when you try the place.
Friendly staff.

I love taking body pump classes. They hit and tone every part of your body. Since I have been taking the class I have lost a little weight and have toned every part of my body so I feel and look stronger and have gained more balance.

I take a spinning class which helps with strength of my legs and cardiovascular.

I also participate in tennis classes which has also been great for cardiovascular.

It has been awesome meeting the people in the classes and l have become friends with a lot of them.
I look forward to seeing them and it helps to bring you back. The instructors are awesome in helping you to excel in your workout and answer any questions you may have.

Been to the other Lincoln locations and this one is now my favorite! It's indeed under construction but still able to navigate easy enough and plenty of equipment to use.
The best thing is the confidence I have in the ladies at the kids club! I didn't feel off about leaving my little girl there like I have at the other locations.
The people who work here are friendly, lively and seem to enjoy being here, which I like to see.

I struggled for such a long time with motivation to get into the gym, and joining Genesis changed that for me! I took advantage of the free personal training sessions when I signed up and that really helped me get back on track. Personal training and group fitness help me stay accountable, and the welcoming environment of the club always makes me look forward to my workouts. There have been so many great updates with the remodel, the locker rooms are beautiful! Overall I am so happy I joined the Genesis family!

No other place I’d rather workout then here. Staff is friendly, helpful and makes going to the gym a great experience. Didn’t start working out until recently and I’m glad this is place I started at. Also lots of amenities this place isn’t just a weight room.

Genesis is a great place for people getting started or for people looking to give something different a try. The free PT sessions really helped me to get on the right footing and it helped me personalize a workout routine that works for me. Pilates are also definitely worth checking out. The instructors are knowledgeable and really foster an uplifting, encouraging environment.

I attend Wednesday night Zumba and Thursday night Barre whenever I can. The instructor, Christy, is awesome! She's so sweet, and it's a great workout. Come check it out sometime. It's a super welcoming group.

It’s a very nice low impact, strengthening class that also allows you to stretch out your body throughout the workout! Plus the instructor Christie has a very calming presence to go along with the peacefulness this class brings.

My husband and I joined Genesis about a year ago—neither of us had really committed to a gym before, and I have to say joining Genesis completely changed our lives. We’ve become addicted. We both worked with trainers when we started. The first few sessions were free. I used mine to get going and learn to do my own thing, but my husband has been with his trainer for almost a year now.

I’m so excited to see where the remodel goes! The locker rooms are looking amazing, and the refresh pulls everything into the 21st century.

Genesis Has it All. Highly recommended. Even able to use the several locations in Omaha. Just One suggestion is one of the Lincoln Locations offering a 24hours area. Even if just a small section could be made available for access after hours.? Happy Member

This club has an amazing staff and they’re all so friendly! The environment is so welcoming and lively, it’s a good club to do your daily workouts in! 10/10 would recommend this club to go to if you’re looking for one

I love Pilates on Friday mornings with Christy Watson. Great attention to details and individual assistance when needed always fun and challenging. Great instructor and class!

Genesis is the way to go!! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Barre class with Christy is a must .. she is AMAZING and makes the class fun while making sure you get a great workout at the same time. You won’t be disappointed - guaranteed!!

Love coming here on a daily basis, and so do my kids! There is so many different rooms and pieces of equipment to use. If one area or machine is taken, you can easily find a place here to workout that isn’t busy or has the same machine available. The child watch is updated and has so many fun activities for kids, there’s basketball, air hockey, skee ball, and a 2-3 story play structure for big kids and a smaller one for younger kiddos! We love Sharon and Cheryl at the child watch! Front desk and cleaning staff are very friendly.
