Hoshi Palate

Had an amazing dinner tonight. The rice was awesome the Tuna sushi so clean and Fresh better that I grew up with in California on the coast. The salmon so fresh. Everything tasty and beautiful. Ben Powers

Incredible Thai food in the most unexpected location. Who knew Blair was home to an outstanding restaurant that serves amazing Thai dishes, sushi rolls and other Asian flavors.

A small storefront on the main Street through town offers wonder sumptuous Curry dishes loaded with decadent sauces, tender meat and flavorful vegetables. The sushi rolls never disappoint either, stuffed with seafood and vegetables.

There is a little bit of a wait due to the crazy amount of take out orders but the food is well worth the wait!

Wonderful Sushi rolls made by an expert! Highly recommend the Blair City Roll. The Spicy Salted Shrimp is the best. Sushi is not fast food & each order is made by hand, to order by a master sushi chef. expect a wait regardless of how many servers. If you need a quick in & out, there is plenty of fast food in Blair. The cuisine at Hoshi Palate is WORTH the wait.

A limited selection of sushi is now available again. Their sushi is pretty famous in this town. But their other dishes are wonderful too. Their curry dishes are so delicious. My family really enjoyed the yellow curry and pad Thai noodle with chicken. The pineapple fried rice with chicken was also wonderful. We also had steamed dumplings, egg rolls and crab Rangoon, all tasty. Service was very good. My only complaints are that it’s a little on the pricey side but worth it. And the restaurant needs a little updating and cleaning. I’m not saying the whole restaurant is dirty but a few areas need attention, like ceiling fan, windows and the bathroom. The kitchen and dining areas were very clean. We have eaten at Hoshi Palate many times and have always loved the food but we are very happy sushi is back.

Amazing food as usual. Great service, great food. Only way it could be better is with SUSHI. Hopefully it will be back soon.

The owners are very nice and hardworking. I've loved everything I've had here, including sushi and pho. The egg drop soup is the best I've ever had.

Excellent Thai food. Been there 4 times and it is always the best.

Food was great! Due to restrictions on supplies they were out of a few things but that was alright due to it being small town and the shipments being held back. We enjoyed a very nice lunch. The phó does take a bit longer than other dishes, but it was still wonderful.

Great sushi roll and the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend and I will be going back a lot now that I found it.

The food was amazing and the staff was super nice. I absolutely love it. My husband and I are very happy to have Hoshi Palate so close to us and we are definitely going again. The combination fried rice was to die for and the fried California roll and fried tempura roll and cream cheese roll were so good. Also the crab Rangoon tasted homemade which is amazing. Can’t wait to eat there again

The food was great, the service as well, they even spiced it up perfect for a fire breather. So far just the pineapple curry chicken but I will be returning to try more.

Man I love this place. Never had sushi until this place came to town. I go there as much as possible. It's better than some places in Omaha. There always quick with service amazing food and for one guy making all the sushi plates he's pretty quick. Highly recommend to go there and eat. I could there every night.

I love sushi and this place is maybe the best in Nebraska. The food presentation is the best I have ever seen at a sushi restaurant. We have tried the other items on the menu and all of them have been great.
The only knock I would give them is it can be a little slow at times. I believe that it is hard to find help in Blair at times so just a minor ding here.
We are lucky to have this option in Blair.

The best Asian food I have ever had. Bright, cheery old building with comfortable seating. Remember, it's Asian Fusion. Check their menu. A good variety of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, the best Sushi anywhere prepared by the owner of the restaurant with great care. His sauces are homemade, each meal a beautiful work of art that delights the eye as well as the palate. More than worth the drive from Omaha or Lincoln. Simply a wonderful culinary delight. In my opinion, this beats every Asian restaurant in eastern Nebraska...by far.

The food is amazing and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Top to bottom this is a wonderful place to enjoy. The city of Blair is fortunate to have this restaurant in town. If they're busy when you are seated it may take a while to get your order plated and served but it will be worth it!

Easily my favorite place for food in the Omaha area. I drive half an hour one way every weekend to eat here and have never been disappointed! Looking forward to when I can get sushi again!

Great Thai food! Every time we go either my wife or I get the yellow curry, amazing, and they do something special with crispy potatoes in it that I've not had anywhere else. The sauce that comes with the egg rolls and excellent crab Rangoon is another favorite of mine, orangey and tangy and delicious. The wait for the food is usually pretty lengthy but definitely worth it. Unusual to find a gem like this in a town the size of Blair.

A surprising gem for such a small town. Been several times and the food is excellent. The owner(s) (I’m assuming along with his wife) are the Sushi expert and the executive chef of the restaurant, and since there is only one person making rolls, it can take quite some time. (The longest we waited for rolls was 45 minutes.) But don’t let that deter you; he puts the time and effort into making every roll well and plated beautifully.
This is not a fine-dining experience, but rather a family business where even the daughters are your servers. The wife and mother makes all of the hot dishes as far as we could tell. The dynamic works well for this small restaurant.

We order take out from here a couple times a month. The speed of service has greatly improved (usually 20 minutes for a basic Chinese order). We love the sesame and general tso's chicken. Crab Rangoons are AWESOME! We have also had the sushi and it is great - loved the spicy crab roll. So happy to have such good food in Blair!
