A wine tasting room built into the basement of the host's house, what a cool concept! The way it's designed, you would think you were in the wine cellar of a restaurant. There is a bar to sit at and tables set up in an adjoining room. The host was slammed with many customers when we arrived to do a tasting, but he was still very pleasant. Wines were tasty and we ended up buying a bottle to go. Maybe a trip here in the warmer months would be a good idea, as there were many vines outside and nice views!

We love visiting Black Bear Vineyard! The wines are very good and the owner, Ted, is a great host. Always takes time to interact with all his guests. And the views of the vineyard are amazing! You will not be disappointed here!!

I don't even like red wine usually, but I liked it here!! The whites were AWESOME. The vineyard itself is family-run, and they have a spacious but cozy back porch on which you can enjoy your wine. Even better - the owners brought us all a plate of fresh-baked cookies!!
Try the Dreamsicle wine if you are a Creamsicle fan.

Excellent experience! My husband and I took a drive up north and came across this place in our travels - so glad we did! We had some of the best wine we've ever had during our tasting (even a lemoncello that was to die for!) The wine and the great owners will keep you coming back for more!
I wish they would ship to where we live, but I know we'll be back anyway!

Like many others, I loved this vineyard! I highly recommend speaking with the owner Ted. He is very personable and knowledgeable! The variation seen here is on par with bigger names like Labelle in the Merrimack area. There is something for everyone!

Fantastic wine tasting experience at Black Bear! Ted was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging; one of the best vineyard experiences I’ve had, and some of the best and most unique wine to boot! Will absolutely be back for their Harvest Weekend and beyond.

My family and i had a beautiful afternoon with Ted, the owner of Black Bear Vinyard. It reminds us of why we love NH (and wine)! Great tasting, tour of his process and walking through the vinyard. Hope to make it back for some of the events coming up there. Thank you Ted!

Ted was a great host for our tasting. We liked the downstairs rooms. We were disappointed we couldn’t take a bottle home since we were flying home because we really enjoyed a lot of their wines. Great price ($12) for a tasting of 8 wines.

I've been here twice and it's the most amazing winery I've ever been to. The owners are incredibly passionate and thoughtful with great wine and chocolate pairings. We tasted the wine then sat around the fire for a good part of the evening. Their hospitality was top notch and we're thinking of having a future event (maybe our wedding!!!) at this winery. I'm excited to see what is in store for them with their future endeavors!

Ted was the most amazing host I’ve ever had. He was so hospitable which is hard to find these days and he had such an interesting story and family history that was pleasant to hear. His wines were some of the best I’ve ever had - and this compares to Temecula, Napa, Spain, Finger Lakes etc and that wine was next level. Every note Ted described I could immediately taste including the vino cappuccino which was incredible. Definitely a hidden gem!!!

Three friends and I stopped in today after calling for a reservation 45 minutes ahead of time. Arrived to ted shoveling snow and opening for us. Ted was an incredible host and the wine was to match. My girlfriend is a huge wine fan and although I’m more of a beer drinker I enjoyed each and every wine black bear vineyard produced. We live three hours away but we all agreed we need to visit again soon. More than happy with the visit and the wine we took home.

Love, love this place. First time here and I want to go back. Ted was an amazing host and you can tell he is passionate about this wine. He even made an coffee infused wine that is so good. This is the first winery where every wine that I tired was amazing. I loved every wine he served.
