I LOVE Gemstar Gemstone! I have been going there for about 8 years at least 1-2 times a year for a big trip (always having lived about an hour away from this store).
I schedule a "road trip" with friends to bring at least a couple of people with me each time, and we ALWAYS have a blast!!
I recommend you set aside at least 3 hours when you go to this shop for a big trip... As there is just so much to look at. I have also found that their prices consistently seem to be lower than most stores I have been to.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it continues to be a special trip after many years. Something for everyone. An especially great visit in the Summer, love their little polished rock garden outside. Can't beat the prices and selection!

This shop is one of the best crystal places I have been to. The prices are affordable. The staff is knowledgeable. They have a wide selection available for their customers. I found them to be friendly. As was mentioned before, call ahead to make sure of the hours. Also, if at all possible visit during a warmer month. There is so much that is available outside. The snow covers up much of it during the winter. That way you get to have the whole experience. It sort of is like a Barnes and Nobles of crystals, rocks and gems.

I've been buying stones here for nearly ten years. They have excellent quality, prices and customer service. You need to allow enough time to look around because it is packed with so much to choose from. I recommend you take a trip there each season as the outside has some great pieces, too, and you'll see it differently when Mother Nature changes. Try to have a plan on what you are going to focus on getting or it may be overwhelming as there is so much and you'll feel like a kid in a candy store! Enjoy your excursions to Gemstar Gemstone!

The place was loaded with stones and the owners were very nice, I've been there 3 times since and can't wait to go back. I noticed a few squirrels around that really seemed to enjoy the enormous amount of crystals outside, it was very cool, must be good energy :).

I travel back to my childhood home in Vermont each summer from my home just outside of Phoenix, AZ. My mom, her friend Leslie, my two boys, and I make it a point to seek out this OUTSTANDING little shop every summer and I always leave with some new treasures.

No summer is complete without a trip to Gemstar and visiting with the owners. Now they are the true treasures! The owners of this glorious little shop are personal friends of Leslie's and It is obvious that they love what they do. They are always willing to assist you or answer any questions you might have for them.

Great service, great selection, and great very reasonable prices. Workers offer to help when you walk in and they want to buy local products. If your in to making jewelry or collecting rocks go here.

Small and a bit confined but they had everything. You MUST make a trip out here, it's like an art display and you can find something that everyone will love from the shiny crystal addicts to the craft lovers to curious kids.

Gemstar is my favorite place to shop for gemstones, crystals, and so much more. The two most important things to know are always check their hours, they work hard to ensure their hours are the most convenient for the customer, and make a list of what you want/need. They have so-so much, it's very easy to loose site of what you'r looking for with all their beautiful products.
The staff is very helpful, and knowledgeable without being overbearing, and they have a few reference books to help you find that pretty gemstone you forgot the name of. Their prices are very reasonable, and the quality is A+.
