Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Cincinnati

What a great experience! Reservations are a must. Parking was problematic without the valet. Short wait for our table...and then the show started.

Marie, our professional server, guided us through our food and wine options with ease and a wicked sense of humor. We sampled a couple of wines, settling on the Lux Meritage. So smooth, so tasty.

Our food consisted of the bacon wrapped shrimp, shrimp scampi and the special of the evening, steak medallions with blue crab stuffed lobster. Everything was cooked very well. The taste was very good.

Marie was ever present but not intrusive. Highly recommend requesting her as your server. She simply added to the overall experience.

The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.

The past few times my fiancée and I have come here it has been lovely. We make sure to book a table online to avoid any waits and we get seated promptly. Waitstaff has been amazing each time. I can recommend the Meatballs as they are creamy, buttery, and so delicious and the red sauce is the best I’ve ever had. We ordered a bottle of Romance Red each time as it is one of our favorite sweet reds but we do make sure to try the wine sampler as well! Dinner has always been wonderful with our steaks being cooked exactly the way we order them each time. We got a chocolate cake the first visit and the second was for her birthday and she was given some free truffles. Overall, a lovely place for special occasions but can be very expensive for a regular night out.

We visited back in December after hearing great things. The entire experience was amazing. We ended up joining one of the wine clubs and have been back three times since. Great food and overall experience for a decent price. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great Place. Fantastic wine selections made simple. Server was wonderful. Helped my party decide which wines were suitable for our celebration. My young adults were enlightened with the wine culture & experience. The food was phenomenal. Although the atmosphere was busy our server was attentive to accommodate our needs.

If you like wine, this is the place. It's very wine pairing centric. Great food (chicken parm is so good) and service. It's very busy so even with a reservation prepare to wait - we waited an extra 20mins in a crowded lobby (which was the only negative experience). It can be loud too with the wine tasting crowd by the shop.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and amazing wine tastings. They accept reservations or you can walk in. They also have a VIP wine membership packed with all kinds of perks. Food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. Would highly recommend for either a dinner for two or a party of ten.

If you love wine then this is the place to visit. They sell their wine and you can do tasting as well. They also sell Merchandise related to wines. I personally have a 3 bottle sweet wine membership where I get 3 wines every month, 2 wine tastings and discounts and rewards on purchases. I want to personally shout out Charles who took great care of my wife and I during our tasting and prepared our bottles of wine for us after we was done eating. The food is also great and atmosphere and decor is nice also. Both times I went were during lunch but if you go later I recommend you make a reservation.

Great spot to bring family and friends, visiting out of town. Especially, if they drink wine.

I have nothing negative to say about my dining experience at this restaurant. They were excellent. Our server was awesome. The food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant.

The food was delicious, as always. They have amazing wine. Lots of different options. You can find something for everyone. The service was alright. Our waitress was just extremely busy. She had a lot of tables she was taking care of at one time. Their salted caramel creme brulee is really good as well.

Food was fantastic, perhaps the best pork chop I've ever had. The truffles were a bonus and unexpected for a birthday we were celebrating.

I have been a wine club member for 5 years, and the service and food lately has been horrible. I sent my steak back because it was well done, and I ordered a medium done steak. The second steak was well done as well, so I left without eating dinner. I was compensated for the meal and offered a free dessert.

I honestly don't know where to start. The ambiance strikes a comfortable vibe between casual and classy. Dress up or dress down—you'll fit in here.

The wine and food speak for themselves, truly. Exquisite. Memorable. The service during the wine tasting just makes it all the better. Great personalities from their staff: personable, warm and even jovial.

This extends to their wait staff as well, for those dining in. Very knowledgeable and cordial.

I've honestly never received better service at another restaurant in this price range.

My boyfriend and I have been here at least four times now and each time we've done the wine tasting before dinner. It's become a ritual we eagerly look forward to, whenever he's visiting from PA!

Great food, wonderful wine. Amazing service. Riley was an exceptional server. Complimentary tasting of their award winning wine. Complimentary pretzel bread for the table. One big complaint is the parking situation. Otherwise enjoyed it very much.

I have been to so many restaurants in Cincinnati, Ohio. From the best steakhouses to fancy Italian restaurants. This place has been my favorite so far! Fantastic food and the best wine selections. Our server was fantastic! Definitely worth checking out, especially for date night!

Spent a lovely evening here for a best friend’s birthday. Server “Chris” was sharp, efficient, and gave an amazing performance with his charm and swagger. The wine and entrees were inspired and delicious! Pro tip: Careful not to accidentally knock into the numerous merchandise cubes with numerous wine glasses stacked on them in the wine tasting area!!

For our main courses, I opted for the Short Rib Risotto, while my partner savored the Chicken Piccata. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each dish was cooked to perfection. Our server expertly recommended wine pairings for each course, which elevated the meal to new heights.

Of course, no visit to Cooper's Hawk would be complete without indulging in their extensive wine list. We participated in a wine tasting, guided by a knowledgeable sommelier who provided insightful information about each selection. We were thoroughly impressed by the diverse range of wines, which catered to a variety of palates.

To conclude our evening, we indulged in the Flourless Chocolate Torte - a decadent dessert that was the perfect ending to a magnificent meal. I cannot recommend Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant enough for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a wine aficionado or simply looking for a memorable night out, Cooper's Hawk will not disappoint.

We don't have this chain in Arkansas so we visit when we are in Cincinnati. The food is outstanding, but the wine is excellent. Probably 50 different reds, whites and blends. Our favorite is the almond champagne, but all are good. If you have never tried Coopers Hawk, you need to visit because you will not be disappointed!

It was my first time and it was a wonderful experience. Cooper's Hawk lives up to its reputation as a great wine membership and tasting place. I was even more impressed by the food. One could get full on apps or go full in on the main entrees. Worth the $$.
