Gepettos Italian Restaurant

This may be the best Italian food I've had in the Capital District area. I'm originally from the metropolitan NYC area, and grew up with the real deal. The sauce on on our eggplant rollatini was spot on, as was the entire dish. Everything easich, flavorful, fresh, and prepared with extreme love and care. Service was friendly, just the right level of attentive, and personal. Casual atmosphere, felt like a family-run business, and servings that were more than enough to share. Oh yeah, the bread was not to be missed either.

Although we don't live nearby, we will be back soon. Outstanding.

AMAZING!!! Love a place that gives huge portions and HOT bread!! Very cute interior and felt like fine dining with the cloth table covers. Worth every penny.

I apologise for the after picture. Truth of the matter is I wasn't planning on taking any pictures at all. What I can tell you is this fettuccine carbonara is probably the best when I've ever had in my life. Rich and creamy, plenty of bacon, and even the sides such as the salad and the marinated/pickled cauliflower tied the whole meal together. It may come out to 20-some dollars a plate, but technically it can feed you a dinner that night and a lunch in the Following day. However I was extremely ambitious and the food was extremely delicious.All in all I can't believe I ate the whole thing. Meanwhile my wife is going to enjoy her Alfredo for lunch today and I just sit here with the memories of what could have been. Definitely earned 5 stars in my book

Friendly staff and good food. I the staff are really friendly and took the time to talk to me and made suggestions on points of interest around the town. By the way try the lasagna you won't be sorry.

Best Italian food in the area . Each time I go I can't seem to get beyond the Lasagna... It is so good and the portion big enough for lunch the next day . We have taken many guests there and all want to return.. Friendly staff and comfortable environment... Oh, did I mention the bread???? Yum!

The food is delicious!! The portion size for the entrees can eat for two. We ordered the clams and mussels and pasta with meatballs! The sauce was soooo gooood!! The bread is also made fresh here! would definitely come back. Service was also excellent

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Where to start, the atmosphere, it feels like a combination of Old New York and a little bit of Italy. Next up, the food. Delicious! The bread, oh my God, the bread! Hot! Freshly Baked, even late on a Sunday night! Fresh butter. Then, the lasagna! One of the best, if not The Best, I have ever eaten. A rich crushed tomato sauce, layers of noodles, meat and cheese make their dish purely sinful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everything was wonderful, including the service and portion sizes.

One of our favorite spots! Each time we dine its a great experience. Good food, good atmosphere and good service. It's a bit pricey but very generous portions. We will be returning!

Truly exceptional experience. Food was on point along with stellar service. Drinks were large with an amazing alcohol selection. Reservations are probably a good idea because it appears they get busy.

First of all, Dee or "D" is great. My Husband and I were sat down and waited a while for someone to say hello. When she came over she immediately apologized for the long wait and told us the reason. Why is it so hard for other restaurants to understand that just apologizing for the delay would make the wait okay? Anyway, she made sure we had a fabulous evening. The drinks she made were amazing and the food was great. They coursed things out properly and not on top of one another. Just a great experience overall. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing meal. Had a great birthday dinner here. Drove from Glens Falls and it was worth the drive. I don’t know who gave them 1 star but I’m sure it’s a Karen or Kevin. I will be back. Service was top notch and friendly too.

Delicious food! Best salad and signature balsamic dressing!!! Great atmosphere..so cozy but with elegance. Best thing that happened to our cute historical town of Schuylerville. I love walking the mini strip and then dinner at Gepettos.

We had a great meal, starting with fantastic home made bread, very nice, reasonably priced bottle of wine. The salads were great. We had the Chicken Franciese & Eggplant Rolatini. Both were delicious & the portions are huge. We took home another entire meal. Service was great, all Covid policies followed!

Delicious food, great wait staff and cozy dining area. The food was hot and the portions are large. Stuffed mushrooms are out of this world! I will be going back and will recommend to family and friends looking for fine dining to visit Gepettos in Schuylerville, NY

It was our first time there. We were told they sold pizza but that was not the case. We said lets give it a try anyway!!! We were very happy!!! The bread was amazing, crispy and warm. I has carbonara a d my lord was it delicious. The sauce was amazing and it took a little time but well worth it. It was amazing, the sauce was perfect and plenty of it. I had the soup, a to.ayoe basil with bacon! It was out of this world!!!! Pieces of fresh tomatoes, basil and celery. We will be going back for more!!!!

Food was phenomenal, wait for food was not excessive. Friendly staff, knew what they were doing. Nice place to fine dine, and have a nice sit down dinner. Great vibes!

I had the most delicious meal I've tasted in a long time last night at Geppetto's. I ordered the chicken Sorrentino and it was absolutely out of this world delicious! My neighbor who accompanied me order the veal piccata which she shared a taste with me and it was absolutely delicious also, the sauces were excellent! I cannot forget to mention the bread crispy on the outside warm and moist on the inside best bread I've had in a long time.
The waitress, although Pleasant seemed new and a little bit unexperienced but who cares the food was off the planet delicious!
