Mayflower Chinese in Rome

Mayflower is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Utica/Rome area, and has been for well over two decades! EXCELLENT food...well prepared! I usually eat at Mayflower twice a week!! I've had pretty much everything on the menu! I highly recommend Mayflower Chinese Restaurant!! I love it, and I guarantee you will too!!

There soup is amazing! I bought the veggie soup for my sick loved one, and it was amazing! You get a huge container for about $6 and it could definitely feed 2/3 very hungry people! I have previously brighten other food here before and always tastes amazing! Great business owners that will help you out with any problems with the food if your not satisfied!

Has always been my favorite Chinese food restaurant here or anywhere. Best in Rome hands down! Their servings are double most places, their pricing is more than reasonable. They are also lovely and friendly folks. Also the food tastes better than anywhere in the area, which is why they’ve been there for 20 some odd years.

Mayflower Chinese restaurant has the best Chinese food in Rome. Some meals have been better than others, but most have been good to very good in the years I've eaten there. There prices have gotten a little high and I've also noticed they've gotten a little cheaper with their portions of duck sauce and soy sauce they put in the bag. I get that they don't want people stockpiling it at home at their expense, but they need to be a little more liberal in this regard. Other than these two things I mentioned above, this is a no frills place with with great food.

I normally just get chicken with broccoli, but I have had other dishes from here and they all taste good. If only from my recent experiences, I would have to rate the restaurant 5 stars because the service is pretty good and the food is great.

Hands down best China man in town. My wife and I couldn't get enough of the pu pu platter. The fried rice was well fried and the name says it all. It's as if I were on the actual mayflower eating that traditional food. I would sell my kids to just eat this everyday.
