Wonderful city park to walk around and enjoy the forestry

I just love driving around and taking a stop by the park. I am now older but when I was a little girl ( in the late 70's )we used to always go there and feed the Ducks, it was our fun day. I thought back then people would be in canoes or little boats. Maybe I'm Wrong. It's still such a beautiful area. Now that I work at the hospital I'm always taking a drive around there. People probably always wonder why I'm driving around there, lol. 🌞 So many fond memories there.

The only reason why I give this 5 stars it's because the park was really nice The Pavilion we rented for $60 was really nice the only thing was was whenever we rent a pavilion there was some guy there who let us in and then he felt like it was okay to sit there in the middle of the party and I asked him is there anywhere that you can go while we have this party cuz it doesn't seem right for you to sit in here and babysit us he told us no and wait and try to sit in the back room then he came out and told us that we cannot decorate the hall he found his self yelling at my wife so he calls his supervisor he puts my wife on the phone my wife explains what's going on the guy says yeah I don't understand why he's still there he should have just unlock the door and left and then he called his supervisor again saying that we was outside smoking and drinking yeah we was outside smoking and drinking we was drinking pop and I'm pretty sure that's where we got to go to smoke cigarettes pretty sure they wouldn't want us smoking in the building I rent from the city all the time and yes they usually is a security guard at The Pavilions if there is a separate room that they could go into no this dude was literally in the middle of the party other than him feel like he could join in on the fun it was a really nice place to rent I mean seriously probably one of the nicer parts that Youngstown has the building was nice and big they had a stove fridge and microwave very clean I would highly recommend you write this Pavilion just make sure you clarify that you do not want some random guy in the middle of your party but other than that like I said highly recommend this place

Beautiful. Clean. Family atmosphere.

It's a historical park that's been a neighborhood gem. Two pavilions and a great playground for children provide lots of fun and entertainment.

Best city park, by far.

Great place to go sledding during the winter, north or south on the west side of fifth

Best place for a BBQ, just the security guy was there to screw us with 1000 questions

It is a beautiful park especially hiking down in the ravine.
