Wonderful meals. Great casual dining with great food. One of my favorite restaurants to go to. I do miss Monday night open mic nights .

I eat here quite a bit. Mostly take out but it's great for in person dining too. Good food and friendly staff. If you want a smaller more intimate place to have dinner and drinks, this may be it.

My go-to restaurant on the way to P Bruins games. Food is amazing, and at a great price.

Highly recommend the tenderloin sandwich! The pesto salmon was excellent also. The crabcakes were phenomenal.
If you're lucky enough to get Taylor, you will be extremely satisfied with the service. She was very attentive and we didn't have to wait for anything! 10/10

Really perfect place they take good care of you. The food is superb and it really is a rural pub, hunting lodge theme to the max.

Went to the Village Tavern for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was friendly and the food was excellent. I had the chicken piccata which was excellent and a very generous portion. I had the Caesar side salad which also was perfect just the right amount of dressing. I love a good Caesar salad and I would drive 30 minutes just for this. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the food!

Nice local spot right along Route 6. It seemed like only one person was working there but they were friendly and the food and drinks were great!

We popped in here with our family of 5 before a concert and it was a perfect start to our evening! Service was friendly and efficient! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was so welcoming! Great stop!

The food is always awesome and reasonably priced. Small establishment so seating can be an issue on the weekends but that is my only complaint. Worlds best Reuben sandwich and skip the fries and get their tortellini salad instead. Cant say enough positive. Just look at my shrimp scampi 8 cocktail shrimp in that bowl for $21.

We had dinner here last night and it was awesome. The crab cakes were delicious and their Cajun Shrimp Pasta was delicious. Service was fast and people were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

First time here even though I live in town. Service (sat at the bar) was great, food was terrific and cooked as ordered (extra rear steak). Beer taps were cold and pours weren't 'heady'.

We had the Tavern Grilled Cheese on the way to relatives in Rhode Island friday and stopped again for the same sandwich on the way back home sunday. It's fabulous and so is the coleslaw yummmy

We went to eat tonight, we were a table of four, the food was great as well as the service.Our waitress Victoria made great suggestions, as it was our first time eating there. The steak special was delicious and an excellent choice. The drinks suggested by Betty were also a great choice. We will definitely be back. Great food and excellent service!!!!!

Wow. Driving back from Mass, and Waze took us by this unassuming place. Pulled in, causenwe could not.find anywhere else to eat. Boy did we luck out. Food was great, bar had everything, and the staff was helpful as the customers there in determining what to eat.

The absolute best steak sandwiches in RI! I challenge anyone to find a better sandwich. Thick (tenderloin?) steak that you can cut with a butter knife. Not a bite of fat or grizzled. We had takeout and it was ready in a timely manner. Cooked perfectly ! Yum!!

Great atmosphere and plenty busy. A huge thank you to the waitress for caring for our group (about 15 people)..she was totally cool with our group taking over all the table outside. We really did appreciate it and see we just came from a celebration of life for my uncle who had past away last month. That was my family from several states to honor him.

Best burgers and steak sandwiches around. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Reminds me of the Cheers bar.
