I always love going into this place. It has great variety. Customer service is 50/50 for me. Sometimes I'll get someone who is so lovely, nice, respectful and has a great attitude and sometimes I'll get someone who just takes one look at me and just is so disgusted by my presents and is rude the rest of the exchange. Other than that. I do love this place. I'll upload pictures as soon as I can.

Great selection of imitation meat for vegans and vegetarians. However we did not see some frozen Chinese items like radish cake. Still, pretty good selection of veggies, sauces, dry, and frozen items.

I came to buy items for Vietnamese bowls and dipping sauce.

Super friendly staff. I’m not used to shopping at an Asian grocery store, and it’s hard to find items at times. I had two employees ask me separately if I needed help finding anything.

The cashiers were nice too.

Just moved to San Diego and was disappointed in the selection and pricing at small Asian food markets. This place was like finding an oasis in the desert!

I’ve had good customer service so far . I come here for my seafood especially my mackerel fish.

Best fresh fish and seafood very friendly and professional staff, they understand the customers needs and do their best to accommodate it. I got the largest Bufflo fish in the store and cooked it as Maskoof Iraqi fish.

Large selection of fish, meatballs, and vegetarian alternatives. The staff has helped me identify items, even with a language barrier, on the few occasions I have asked. Try their in-house rice paper sesame treats!

This is my favorite Asian food store. I've been to other Asian markets, like SF Market on Linda Vista and 99 Ranch on Clairemont Mesa. But I love going to World Foods. The store is well organized. Products are neatly stocked and displayed. The variety is amazing. Produce is fresh and well taken care of. What impresses me the most is how friendly the people are. And they all speak good English! When I need to find something, they can tell me exactly where it is and sometimes even walk me over. The checkout clerks always have a smile on their faces. In my opinion, World Foods is the best-run Asian market in San Diego!

There are some things that you can't find at other grocery stores that I can always find here.

Their produce is usually very fresh. I typically go here for various herbs and vegetables for Vietnamese meals. They also have a good assortment of mooncakes during the autumn festival season and dried fruit and Lunar New Year snacks. Parking lot is pretty spacious.

Whole fishes are really fresh. Good service and price quite good. Raccomanded

World Foods is always one of my favorite places to shop. It offers a wide variety of produce and products from South Asia, especially Vietnam. It also has some basics of Latino, Thai, Filipino and North Asian markets.

The World is still a good place. I dropped my wallet on the ground between the cashier and my car. A wonderfully honest and caring couple found it and called me to give it back. All of my money and cards were still there. God bless loving people.

Very nice vietnamese market. A wide variety of fish and meat. Besides beef you can get goat meet too. There are options for live fiah as well. Almost everything is reasonably priced

What a selection of all foods Asian. Incredible fresh & some live seafood. Produce section is huge with lots of exotic fruits & veggies as well as the usual you would expect. I bought some beautiful fresh clams and various sauces. I will be an ongoing customer. Service was great, plenty of parking including handicap right by the main door.

I absolutely was shocked with this place. I am Puerto Rican and they have all the rare ingredients I need to make my authentic dishes. I love that they have all the Goya products and it’s my favorite brand for my food. I’m a real stickler for it which is very commercial. The look of the market is very dated and could use some rebuilding to help with the flow of how much they sell and make it look more organized. However, the stock of products is their unique quality and I enjoy it very much. If I want to make Philippine food this market is my go to. It’s very unique here and I hope this business excels more so they can continue their services for the community that needs them

Went here for the first time. The store is clean and well lighted. It is not crowded and has a good selection. I like the way they handle the checkout, which protects the shoppers and is fair to everyone... one line that mores fast, like Fry's.
