We stayed mid August, and it was a perfect campground! Beautiful streams that you can hear nearby. VERY clean bathrooms that smelled great. The camp host was super friendly, kind, and willing to give us tons of tips for our hiking adventures.

Absolutely amazing campsite. Gorgeous creeks, lots of creek access. Best camp host I've ever met ever, hollah David!
Upper sites are noticeably warmer and drier. Sites 10 and 11 can flood but I stayed at 11 and it rained a ton and I managed. Cleanest vault toilets I've ever experienced. Can't wait to go back!

Awesome campground. Saw big horn sheep on the way up. Fresh crisp air at that elevation. Spacious and spread out sites make you feel like you have a piece of the woods all to yourself. Site #12 was along a creek. We put up hammocks on the other side. Lots of space for kiddos to explore. Used this campground as a base camp to ride the Georgetown Railroad. Had some ice cream while in town and got some crowlers to go from the local brewery.

This was a lovely campground that was well maintained. It was perfect for my small trailer setup. I highly recommend a visit. The spot had a faint cell signal also.

Extremely beautiful campground. I spent a week out here with my freinds and it was wonderful. The camp host was very nice and provided a lot. Georgetown is still close by with anything else you could need including good food and a friendly atmosphere.

Camped here in July 2020. You really need a 4 wheel drive. I was in a Town & Country which wasn't equipped to be on that road, but it was well worth the risk. Stunning views. River right behind my campsite. Lots of wildflowers. I will go here again (just not in the minivan).

Guanella Pass campground was such an awesome place to camp. We ended up camping in the dispersed camping area just past the campground and had plenty of space for our large group, however I would NOT recommend taking a car without 4 wheel drive and high clearance on the dirt road that goes to the dispersed area.

Absolutely amazing! The campground was well maintained and the surrounding area was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Our camp spot was large and flat with clear ground. Will definitely return!

Great place to stay overnight when you're traveling! It has restrooms and drinking water, bench, table and fireplace. It's located on Guanella Pass the most scenic and picturesque road and summit I've been to so far!

Beautiful campground, the host, Dave, was very nice and knowledgeable on the local area. Very clean vault toilets. Be prepared for noisy traffic in early in the morning with people driving to hike Bierstadt. The mosquitoes are quite vicious during the day but once the temp drops in the evening they are not a problem.

Bathrooms cleaned daily (vault toilets). Well maintained campsites. $23 a night, $15 for seniors. It is first come first serve, so they do fill up quickly. We arrived at 4pm on a Thursday and claimed one of the last spots. Quick drive to Mt. Bierstadt in the morning.

Great campground! Sites far apart and tucked into the forest. Very clean vaulted toilets. Potential wildlife sightings. It got chilly at night and a bit buggy during the day but doesn't take away from the beautiful scenery surrounding you.

Heaven at about 11,000 ft! The views are unforgettable! Our tent site was right beside a running stream, very relaxing to hear. Picnic table, grill and fire pit with a grate. Firewood for sale at the hosts - bathroom was sparkling clean! Michelle and her husband are the hosts and they were super friendly and helpful, especially as I was a first time camper. We were there for the first week of August and it was in the low-mid 40s at night so be prepared.

I could have tent camped here for a week! First off, Georgetown is the cutest little village- straight out of a movie. Full of adorable little shops and restaurants. The town doesn't even seem real! It's like you are back in time. Such a wonderful vacation spot. Unfortunately, we were only here for the nights, on our way to Vegas. The drive up to Guanella Pass from Georgetown is incredible! It's quite the incline, you drive up the mountain for a good 15 minutes, but there is so much to see. Including deer! The host at Guanella Pass was very friendly, I can't remember her name, but she had a dog and stayed in a trailer. There are two loops, across the road from one another. There was a "washroom" which basically a glorified port a potty- no complaints! They provided toilet paper. There is no running water in the washroom. The campground has incredible views!! I've never seen anything like it (I am not from Colorado lol). The campground was quiet. It felt like we were the only ones up in the mountains. The sites are spacious, have a nice set up (grill, fire pit, gravel area for your tent). It was perfect. The sites are decently far away from one another. It got super cold in the evening/night, we were here in early September. We will be back one day!

Great campground! Spent 4 days here. Most of the sites are near a stream (I think sites 10, 11, and 12 are the closest) which was really nice to fall asleep to each night. Bathrooms were really clean vault toilets. Access to tons of trails nearby. Highly recommend!

Tight turns getting there so big rigs might want to stay away. Great hiking trails all over. In the summer it rains almost every afternoon, so plan on taking rain gear if you'll be hiking after 3pm. Beautiful weather in the summer. Keep your eyes open and you will certainly see big Horn sheep and maybe some elk.

This is the second time we stayed at this campground. Great for a quick get away out of the city. There is a clean, not smelly pit toilet for the ladies (gents too) that prefer sitting rather than sqatting. Sites are nice and roomy, clean, and far enough apart from other sites to have privacy. You are right next to the road and will hear early morning traffic of those early birds heading up to the top of the pass for a hike. If your intention is to just get away this is the place. AT&T will not get service, Verizon will get text and calls only.
