Carlos Mexican Bar and Grill

I love this place. The staff and vibe are great right when you walk in. The food is amazing. It’s the grimy little taco spot you might find in a big city, but without the grime.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in town .. great place to enjoy authentic Mexican food you could taste the love . If I could I would give them 10 stars !! Love this place. well worth it

Excellent spicy margarita! Acapulco chimichanga is excellent! Filled with shrimp and crabmeat! This is Carlos, formerly of Carlos and Miguel's. Highly recommended!

I had the Pazole. It was delicious lots of favor. Restaurant was very slow because there was only one cook but it was worth the wait.

Looked around the area for food and came across this amazing spot. I got my food and was surprised with how much flavor was in my food. Highly recommend this place if you are passing through as I was. Stop here to eat.
I mean they do have Churros with ice cream!

We stopped by this place on a Saturday afternoon on our way back from Breckenridge. It was a great experience! Both of our servers were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Plus, Happy Hour deals were awesome and the house margaritas were huge and refreshing! We ordered the Chile con Queso appetizer to go with our chips and salsa, and both ordered the Carne Asada burrito for the main event. Food came pretty fast - nice big portions - and tasted great! We thought the steak was really tender too. Too stuffed at the end of our meal to order any dessert, but we were very content! Also - bathrooms (and the place in general) were very clean. We are already planning our next trip!

Just returned to Denver from a fall drive to the mountains where we stopped at Carlos Mexican Bar & Grill for lunch. Having had Mexican food up and down the front range of Colorado over the years this was some of the best we've had. Excellent and friendly service, good drinks, great salsa, great music too. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Kudos to the chef and his team. Best of luck to them all.

First and foremost the restaurant was CLEAN! Food was authentic and delicious. The margarita was just a house, was HUGE and of course yummy! Large portions. I ordered two plain tacos for my son and it came out wrong (very minor) they saw me taking the veggies out and insisted on fixing it! High five to them! Great service. I’d be here regular if I was from here... thanks for making it a great experience.

Had a really great time here on my first visit! The salsa is amazing and I loved the margaritas. The service was great and the staff was very attentive. We were a table of 7 and as far as I know all the food came out correct. My family and I will for sure be back to support these locals!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! We called about 2 months ago and asked if we could rent out the restaurant for a few hours for a wedding reception.

Gina, Carlos and Javier blew it out of the water!! They allowed us to decorate, play whatever music we wanted, and bring in our own dessert! Javier made fresh guac for all the guests right in front of us.

The food was amazing, as always! Would recommend Carlo's for a delicious dinner or to host a fun event! This was their first time hosting an event of this size, and they did amazing! Gina was on top of communication (even as we planned it from a different state) and they did a great job accommodating all of the guests

Awesome food and drinks with happy hour for over 6 hrs, I recommend this establishment for a good meal and a good car wash as well

Great little place with more room inside than it appears outside. Food was way better than I expected for a Mexican restaurant. I had the pork with cactus that was so tasty and tender. The staff was exuberantly friendly and seemed to know and welcome everyone who came through the door. There were several families. I'll be going back soon!

Great restaurant and incredible, friendly staff. Felt very safe ordering and picking up food from them during COVID. Group got both vegetarian and meat meals and all looked amazing. Excellent place to stop by on our way home to Denver after a weekend of camping/climbing and enjoying the mountains. Will definitely return!

I travel a lot and have been to a lot of mexican restaurants and this one is worth every bit of 5 stars. Waiters were as friendly and kind as possible! Has a very small hole in the wall vibe. Food was delicious and drinks were strong. Will 100% be back next time I stay in Frisco

Our server Nelson was great. He welcomed us when we walked in and sat us right away. The food was good and serving size was bigger than I had expected. I asked Nelson what he recommended and he didn't disappoint with the Molcajete Don Carlos.

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and delicious food. Perfect little location for a lunch or drink in Frisco. I would certainly recommend and will definitely be back soon! Had a fantastic fajita burrito and some great conversation with the staff and clientele, thank you all for a wonderful night :)

I thought this place had very good food and awesome service. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. The owners are very nice and the cook is obviously very good! I would recommend this place to anyone, it is just a great overall restaurant. Very new and fresh as well!

This place is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been to. We love traveling to Dillon and this place now makes Dillon a guaranteed stop each year. The owners are very personable and are wonderful conversationalists. You HAVE to try anything with carnitas. Tacos, fajitas, anything with them. Almost melt in your mouth. Margaritas are fantastic as well. Definite 5 star. Definite return trip soon!

11/10 absolutely recommend. Carlos recommended the enchiladas suizas to me my first time here and they are hands down my favorite; the tomatillo sauce is so flavorful and spectacular. My husband and I have gotten into a kick of trying something new each time we come. Enchiladas, chimichangas, tostadas, burritos, everything we have had has been delicious. Service is wonderful, every employee we've interacted with has been attentive, friendly, and has had great recommendations. This is our favorite Mexican spot in summit county.

We heard there was $6 margarita’s from 11am-6pm everydaayy! So we stopped here and didn’t regret it ! Such a friendly atmosphere. We actually came back the same day for a couple more margaritas. You are treated like a friend here ! We love this place !!
