First Chair Dental

I have never experienced such a professional, detail-oriented, and caring 1st appointment with a dental office! Everyone there was kind & helpful to the max. (Dr. B, Kira, and Brenda) The care plan seemed reasonable, although there is always sticker shock when seeing the cost of crowns and deep cleanings. After getting home I did research the prices quoted for my plan and they were at the high end of normal costs for out-of-network procedures, but not really that far off for normal dental procedures in Colorado.

Brenda at the front desk kindly suggested that I might be able to get better dental insurance coverage, which I am exploring now. Overall, I was blown away by everyone I encountered in this office, and I'm confident they have the experience and compassion to do the a great job.. I understand that sometimes you have to pay a little more for the very best professionals and equipment, so hopefully I can find a way to put together the financial pieces so I can proceed with my plan at 1st Chair Dental.

There is nothing I hate more than going to the dentist; when I arrived for my first appointment, I told the front desk to "bar the door!" From start to finish, this was the most professional, clean, state-of-the-art dental care I've ever had--and I've had a LOT, with more to come. I felt heard, respected, and, despite having a bad situation to deal with ahead, recognized for the amount of time, effort, and resources I've put into trying to keep my teeth healthy. Dr. Murphy took time with me and explained everything in advance. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough, DEFINITELY make the call.

From a retired dental professional, this is the best dental office you can find! I worked in dentistry for 25 years and have seen the work of many dentists. Nobody compares to Dr. Blankenburg. He is ALWAYS friendly, personable and professional but not stuffy. He listens. During the my crown prep process, he kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Above all else, his clinical skills are unmatched.
His assistant, Brenda was also great. She was professional, friendly and confident. His manager, Allison is always super nice and easy to talk to also.
There just is no place better from my personal and professional opinion.

I’ve been a patient at this dentist office for nearly 5 years ( long before it was known as First Chair). Everyone there is amazing and wonderful. From the reception area ( who have witty jokes when they have you confirm your appointment) , the hygienists ( big shout out to Shanna ), to Dr. B and Dr. Murphy ( let’s just admit they are both amazingly handsome).

I recently had a partial crown that chipped and they were able to get me in within 24 hours and get me taken of the same day I came in for my appointment.
I’ve had so many good experiences here and they do such a good job on getting to know you and making you feel welcome. I can’t recommend this place enough and have told so many of my friends here about it.

I have always had trouble going to the dentist. I had a lot of anxiety from past experiences. Not anymore! My dental team(Dr B and Shanna) make my visits easy and without anxiety. They are very caring and wonderful to me. The staff are always warm and welcoming. I have found my dental “home”.

When the staff had a turnover, I found that Allison and Brittany both were my main point of contact. I have a family of four who are frequently in and out of the dentist. They have both gone completely out of their way to make sure my children get appointments both far out and immediately based on all their school breaks, especially college ones. They have been wonderful working with my calls of changing and updating the many appointments always!

The staff know my children and always make them feel like they are family and not just a patient who sits in a chair!

I pay out of pocket for a different dental plan just to stay with them.

I am reviewing my most recent series of two visits to First Chair Dental for crowns on lower right first and second molars (30 and 31). Work was done by Dr. Blankenburg and assistant Brenda with additional assistance from Dr. Murphy. As always, work was done expertly and carefully to ensure a perfect result and a minimum of pain. These crowns are about the best I've ever had. Usually, the bite with new crowns doesn't feel quite right at first and has taken a few weeks to get used to, but these have felt right from the beginning.

First Chair came to my rescue when I hadn't been to the dentist in years. I now go regularly, and they approach my health with kindness, understanding, and compassion as well as being extremely knowledgeable. Shanna, Dr. B, and the rest of the team will always be my #1 recommendation!

Shanna is the absolute best. I used to hate going to the dentist, but she makes it so easy. We laugh the whole time. Also the manager Allison is always so helpful. My insurance is tricky and every time I go there she is able to figure it out. She is an absolute delight. Can’t say enough about this office.

I've never been the type of person who writes reviews, yet here I am! With two friends having highly praised their experiences at First Chair Dental, I choose to try their office out and I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER!!! Sure, it's a bit of a drive from central Denver, but from setting up my appointment over the phone, to their clean office, to my experience in the chair - I have honestly never had a better dental experience in my 35 years! Dera was beyond inclusive from her process of taking images, to counting my gum line, to cleaning; I truly appreciated her keeping me informed as to what they were doing, what they found, while providing possible resolutions to whatever it was that was being discussed. Her compassionate, curious, and enthusiastic spirit was extremely refreshing! Dr. Blankenburg was also very informative and realistic in his discussion. He was kind, patient, and informative, answered questions matter of factly/ realistically. I unfortunately have to go back for a crown, but to be honest, this is the first time that I haven't lost sleep about having to go to the dentists! Having had worked in restaurants, you can really feel the difference between offices that just provide a service versus a place like First Chair Dental, where hospitality and how they make people feel is clearly a priority!

Everyone I met, Allison, Jasmine, Dara and Dr. Blankenship were all wonderful! Very nice, friendly, professional, what a great experience! The staff is outstanding and I’m looking forward to continuing my dental journey with them!

I was not happy with my previous Dentist and found First Chair Dental. Dara is very skilled and an absolutely wonderful to work with. Since I became a customer/patient with Frist Chair I feel that my overall dental health has improved. Thanks First Chair Dental!

LOVE this dental office! The front desk, hygienists & dentists are all exceptional to me. They are extremely accommodating & take the extra step to make sure all is understood & they're SO PLEASANT & relatable. I feel well cared for!

This was my first time at ‘First Chair’ and I’ve finally found my forever Dental office! Everyone was so professional and kind, from Reception, to Dr. B, to the Hygienist. Also, I’ve never seen such a thoroughly clean office. I highly recommend First Chair!

Dr. B and the entire team (from the front desk to the dental hygienists to the dentists) are all nothing short of remarkable! They do a great job for me, and I entrust them with my elderly parents. I don't tend to write a lot of reviews, but this must be said. You truly feel cared for at this place and with these professionals. They are fantastic! Everyone at First Chair is so kind and welcoming. They do such a great job of making you feel comfortable. My wife and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else after being at First Chair.

Practice team members all capable, personable, efficient, and consistently demonstrate integrity. Do good job of adopting new tools and equipment to make patient less uncomfortable. Very satisfied.

Disclaimer: I have always had relatively good dental health and this review reflects only a standard dental checkup.

I have really enjoyed First Chair Dental so far. They give excellent advice, notice small details about my teeth that have changed from visit to visit, and they do not try to push products during the visit. With any decision, they provide all the options, the pros and cons of each, and a recommendation. They always make it clear that it is your choice. Both the dentists and the dental hygienists are knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this office!

An incredible overall experience at First Chair Dental! The exam was very thorough and top notch! Dr. Blankenburg truly cares about patients, and, Ashley and Kira were exceptional as well! In looking for a new Dentist (our previous dentist no longer accepts our insurance), I read so many reviews of other practices trying to add on services not needed…but at first Chair Dental…it stated they did not and had all 5 star reviews. This is a worthy description! First Chair Dental does NOT try to add on services not needed and the overall experience deserves a 5 star rating!
