We arrived early and got to utilize the “quiet” waiting area outside after changing in their very nice locker room. They had relaxing music playing and light refreshments available while we waited with a good view of the ocean. Wasn’t too quiet because you could hear resort guests walking by, but it didn’t distract too much from the experience. Our massage therapists Brenda and Starr were on time and led us to a nice room with an open view for a couples massage (one prenatal). They asked if we had focus areas or areas to avoid and remembered those details throughout the 90-min package we bought. They did a really great job! When we finished, we had the option to go back to the quiet area for longer or wrap up in the locker room before checking out. The locker room had nice showers and a sauna, and was stocked with additional scrubs and lotions. Checkout was easy and we got to take home some Hawaiian bath salts! We live on the island and will be back again. Thanks Brenda and Starr!

Wow! What an amazing spa! Super helpful staff, easy to book, willing to customize something for me since I’m pregnant and really beautiful spa facilities. Kristin was absolutely amazing for both my prenatal massage and scrub. Even though it’s definitely not a cheap experience super worth it!

On a whim booked two wiki-wiki massages for my husband and I. We live in town and wanted to make our way up for a day trip and Nalu Spa did not disappoint. The amenities post-renovation are amazing and the service exceptional. Shout out to Kauwe and Keola who had us walking out feeling brand new! Our only regret is not booking longer services but we’ll be back, for sure.

Truly a stunning experience. Rooms are quiet and beautiful. I got the foot massage, scalp massage and body sugar scrub treatment and it was epic. The passionfruit body butter is unbelievable.
I really liked my therapist a lot, we both have curly hair! I wish I could remember her name. She gave the whole room and treatment a calm and healing vibe.
Pro Tip: get a room at the resort and stay the night after your Nalu love!

Received a massage for Christmas. Enjoyed a Hoʻonanea Stress Relief Massage. Room had a beautiful view. Room was clean and private. Michele was my masseuse. She did a wonderful job of relaxing me and had magical hands that did wonders on my neck, shoulders and back. Beautiful peaceful location. A wonderful and enjoyable gift.

I had hoped to provide this feedback in the survey that was sent by Nalu after my visit, but their site seems to be down....

First, the staff was lovely and friendly and I've never felt more welcome at a spa. My facial was outstanding. My only complaint is with the nail services. First, it was made clear several times before and during my appointment that I have an allergy. The CBD mani/pedi included that ingredient in the products and it wasn't made known to me until it was already on my skin.

I was still charged for this service despite not going through with the CBD products. Second, having paid that amount of money for these two services, I would have expected the polish to last longer. It chipped on both my hands and feet within a day of the service. Not worth it in my opinion. While I did truly enjoy my time at Nalu, I think there are some things that can be improved upon.

Booked a prenatal massage and overall it was just very very overpriced for the experience provided. The actual spa was closed for renovations so they had just taken over a portion of one of the floors. While everything was clean and nice, the massage itself was quite a letdown. Didn’t focus on the areas I had highlighted at all, didn’t use firm pressure even after I spoke up, and they require an automatic 20% tip despite not being provided a service/experience to match. Also provide no amenities, so not something I would consider a luxury spa experience, but definitely trying to charge luxury prices (almost $300 for a 50 minute massage)

Unfortunately, cannot say we will be back nor recommend services here. My husband and I usually love getting couples massages, but found the massage itself very underwhelming, if we felt anything at all. Additionally, I have never broken out from a massage, ever, and after getting their salt stones combined with whatever oil they used, I have been experiencing the worst breakout/ rash on my back for over 10 days now. I have never had any reaction like this, let alone to this degree. I am not sure how sanitary the stones they use are as a result of this but 0/10 do not recommend at all!!!

It is a shame because the facilities are nice and the spa is located within the beautiful turtle bay resort, but we will stick with the ritz Carlton in Waikiki for future spa services for a better overall experience.

mediocre experience and not worth it, as other reviews have said. the therapist was late and wrapped up early, turning a 30mn massage into a 15mn one. when I raised this at check out, the attendant said "guess you should have booked for longer". wow?

usually I wouldn't leave a negative review, but their feedback form would only submit if I presented favorable scores so I'm sharing here in the hope someone in mgmt sees.
