The Seagrille

As a main-lander, I spent weeks looking for the right place to propose to my fiancé, and I could have picked a better spot.

Experience: The staff, including manager/owner/server/chef, made our special night the one of fairytales. I’m so great full for the amazing services and hospitality they provided us.

Food: We had the burrata as a starter with the provided bread, and the depth of flavor from just a simple appetizer was phenomenal. Our meals, including the steak filet mignom and chicken milnese were both cooked and prepared to perfection, and the portions were far larger than most comparable restaurants on the island. Lastly, the dessert, the buttercake with fruit topping and ice cream could have been a meal itself it was so delicious.

Atmosphere: The place was warm and inviting, modern but rustic, and had the kind of vibes that an outsider felt welcome. Most tables were locals, which tells you that even in the off season this place is worth going to.

What a delicious meal!! Our servers were excellent and the food was even better. The broth of the mussels was superb. The lobster mashed potatoes and free form ravioli were perfection. I could eat there every night. The tiramisu was the only miss - it lacked flavor and was very dry. I was sad to end the meal with it.

First time dining at the Sea Grill and I wanted to order one of everything off the menu. My husband and I split a Caesar salad, bacon wrapped scallops and calamari. I enjoyed the deconstructed ravioli and my husband had the cod with linguisa. Wish we could have dined here 5 more times but our stay on the island was short.

Bay Scallop Special didn't stand a chance. Great cocktails and extensive menu with something for everyone.

Food was Awesome and the Service was great! Prices are a bit on the high side but they give good portions. I enjoyed the calm relaxing environment, I most definitely enjoyed my food. We had steak and mashed potatoes, with stuffed shrimp. We also had plenty of appetizers, seafood pasta, and so much more. We went there on my Birthday and celebrated with friends. Will be going again, one of my favorite places to go for dinner on the island 🏝 oh and be sure to reserve, they're always jam packed! Thank me later 😉

Excellent restaurant beautifully decorated in mid-century modern nice lighting levels. We had the house Manhattan- superb, balanced and beautifully presented delivered in a shaker served table side. The autumn salad was nice and we order the Nantucket bay scallops with parsnip purée and mitake mushrooms. Unfortunately the parsnip overwhelmed the entire dish. I regret not ordering a simpler preparation to allow the scallops to shine.

I have been to MANY weddings all over the world and tried many cuisines. I attended a wedding on Nantucket today and can say, without contradiction, that this is the BEST wedding food I’ve EVER had. The drinks were the best, the appetizers were devine and the food… absolutely scrumptious, tasty and DELICIOUS!!

The best food I’ve had on the island. The lobster bisque was out of this world and could have been a meal on its own. I would be surprised if there was a wrong thing to order on their menu

Had one of the best meals of my life here! The blackened yellowfin tuna with cornmeal oysters and polenta was to die for! Service was great - Mark was so much fun.
Also loved the scallops in bacon and the shrimp cocktail. It was perfection.

Great ambiance, good cocktails and delicious food. Our favorites were the open face ravioli and stuffed shrimp.

One word to describe the experience - WOW. This is easily the best restaurant on Nantucket. From the drinks to entrées, ambiance to service, and everything in between was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend having a meal or celebration here. Run, don't walk here.

This is my favorite place on Nantucket. So under the radar and awesome. Great drinks and amazing food. Once you get over straight wharf go to the Seagrille.

A delicious dinner, great wine selection and friendly staff. Every course was plated beautifully. The wait time was short. No reservations needed. The bacon wrapped filet mignon and lobster fettuccine were absolutely delicious!

Ask for Suzie! We ordered the cherrystones, crab cake, & calamari for appetizers and the tuna for dinner. All were so fresh, tasty, magnificent! I felt the prices were very reasonable for the delicious food, atmosphere, and location... We'll definitely be going back to try pretty much everything else on the menu! Suzie was out waitress and showed exemplary knowledge of the menu and her recommendations were on point for our cravings!!!!

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at on Nantucket! My family had the best time! Friendly laid back atmosphere and incredible food. The burger is amazing and the steak is perfect!
