Trip of a lifetime for our family of four at Turtle Bay Resort. From the time we pulled into valet and were met enthusiastically by the valet, Tony. He immediately shared his favorite surf spot with my 13-year-old when he saw his board, and the positive energy just continued radiating throughout the check in process. The treasure chest at check in was a huge hit with my daughter. Housekeeping was INCREDIBLY hospitable as we made our way to our room, and the room itself was straight out of a magazine. The small touches like the postcards with Hawaiian words, the beautifully curated resort experience guide, and the recyclable refillable water bottles were top notch. One of the most memorable and beautiful hotels I have ever traveled to and experienced.

Awesome hotel! Loved the stay, all the TB workers were kind and friendly. Room was always cleaned just right. Pool was so nice! Special thanks to Austin from the Sales department for going above and beyond and making our stay memorable. Great employee, hang onto him- management material for sure! Golf was spectacular, only wish I could have played more!

Only complaint was that room services dishes stayed on the floor in the hallway for over 24 hours.

If you're going to Oahu, don't stay in Honolulu, go to the North Shore and stay at Turtle Bay.

My wife and I recently had a stay at Turtle Bay Resort, and the one adjective that rises to the top: Exceptional. We stayed in a bungalow, and the room, amenities, design and proximity to the water were just amazing. The Ocean Club Lounge and private pool also added incredible value to the overall experience. The staff, food, and attention to detail made our stay truly world class. We have travelled extensively for both business and leisure, and this stay ranks in the top five of any destination we've visited in the world. Thank you for making this visit with family truly remarkable.

Wow, what an amazing location and Hotel. This is by far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed around the world. The customer service is top notch. Ryan not sure of Ryan’s last name but a manager. Handled a situation that happened to me with great respect. He took care of me and my family more than I ever could have expected. That’s what I call great customer care. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to spend their time in Oahu. The Ocean Bungalows are the perfect getaway for a family vacation. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the island. Thank you again Ryan. I really appreciate your customer service and attention. In the world we live in today it’s great to know this type of customer service and care still exists! Thank you.

The resort is amazing!! We love that we can come and stay the entire time. Everything you need is onsite! The staff is always amazing and helpful! My only suggestion would be a better quality toilet paper and softer more luxurious towels!

Many thanks for the beautiful week at turtle Bay. The bungalows were the perfect place to stay, and we were specially happy to have adjacent rooms for ourselves and our two children.(Really adults at 19 & 22!)
We were grateful that the concierge Acted graciously when we complained about the presence of a child at the adults, only pool near our room. It was a difficult thing to bring up and we were treated with respect.

I have to be honest: I found that since my last visit to turtle Bay about 8 years ago, the carpets and linens. All the fabric elements of the room seemed a bit worn. I wonder if if it is due for a refurbishing. I hate to complain at all, as it is such a spectacular Experience to be there. Maid service in the room was terrific Complied quickly and easily with my requests. Same goes first waiter. Service by the pools and in the restaurant food was great.
Goes without saying we will return to turtle Bay as soon as possible. It’s a long flight from New York, but well worth it.

Great resort with plenty of trails, plenty of activities on site to keep you active. Also great beach access as well as great pools. Gym was smaller, but it works for what it was meant to do. The view from the gym was amazing!

Turtle Bay Resort is a beautiful and well-run resort in a spectacular location. Beautiful views of the ocean at almost every turn, a well-appointed and inviting lobby, very nice pools and beach just footsteps away, unfailingly gracious and capable staff and a very nice and clean room with a great terrace were among the highlights of our 5-night stay. My only complaints are that (1) food prices, as at a lot of upscale resorts, are high, but there are more reasonably priced offerings not far away by car; (2) the menu at the lobby bar (which otherwise is very nice) is very limited in terms of food offerings; and (3) our TV connection was interrupted a few times very briefly. My complaints are relatively minor in the overall scheme of things. I have stayed at a lot of nice places in the U.S. and abroad but it is hard for me to think of a place that I consider better than Turtle Bay Resort, all things considered. I would be delighted to return.

Okay, just to get this straight and you should know up front that this place is not cheap. Also understand that the service you get here is nothing less than 100%. People here definitely love their job and it shows everywhere you go, everywhere you look, and everybody you talk to. If you can afford to stay here I would definitely do so. It's probably on par with any Disney resort and possibly cheaper. I know for sure that it's 100% better. This side of the island is much better than the South side where Waikiki and Honolulu are. I give this place a 100% recommendation.

The resort's location on the North Shore is about an hour and a half north of where most of our activities need to be. The rooms were pricey when we inquired late in 2023, around $1000 a night and too much for our means.

Beyond these concerns, however, is the resort itself, surrounded by astonishing, ever turbulent seas, and nourished by well kept, eminently clean interiors, and especially welcoming staff.

One can see the Pacific from a great many places within and just outside the hotel lobby while keeping in mind that the North Shore is where big waves and world class surfers converge for contest, entertainment and sport.

It is almost inconceivably beautiful here.

I didn’t stay here, but I came for a drink and to walk around the property. Beautiful views at the bar and by the pool. Really pretty grounds. Got to see some fire dancers too! 🔥

We had a minor inconvenience when we first got to our room but the staff was very on top of making sure that accommodations were made for the inconvenience. They definitely care about your stay and satisfaction by doing everything in their power to make you happy:) All of the staff is very loving and welcoming! I loved my stay here! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay here with beautiful amenities, amazing staff, and a very family friendly place despite being such a fancy resort. The beach was lovely and well kept. The pools were very nice and not too crowded. The food at the beach restaurant was amazing! The housecleaning staff would come back whenever we asked if our baby was sleeping. Overall we have no complaints!

This resort is absolutely gorgeous! We brought out two boys here for a family vacation, from the moment we arrived to service was excellent. Checking into our room was a quick and easy process, I love that they give bracelets instead of key cards, it made it so much easier. We stayed in an ocean front suite and I’m happy to say it was truly ocean front. The room was modern, the view was truly amazing. We’ve stayed at other hotels and had “ocean view” rooms they aren’t always a true ocean view. We loved the access to the beach, we spent most of our time down there enjoying the waves and sun. We dined at all the restaurants on the property, we loved the breakfast and dinner at Alaia, breakfast is pretty expensive, but the views can be beat. All and all, our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to return.

Fancy. Nice staff. Nice lobby bar, with apps and phone charging or laptop station, highly recommend the lobby bar for the sunset view (there are also several full restaurants and bars that have a good view here too, but I like the lobby one). Quiet. If you're just killing time, take 20 minutes and see the exhibit about Hawaiian cultural history, that is all dark and moody lighting and waterfalls. Fun to walk through.

We didn't stay at this resort because it is way over our budget! But we did go there a couple of times to have dinner around their bar area outside which was magical and the service was very friendly. Not to mention the scenery was breathtaking.

The Turtle Bay Resort is a fabulous gorgeous property with beautiful beach, golf course stunning ocean views and lobby bars,.the fountain extends into the ocean..,so gorgeous! Each room in the tower had its own balcony and a place with ocean views overlooking the ocean.

Everything about Turtle Bay exceeded our expectations. Starting with the early and helpful communications about our upcoming stay to the gorgeous location, room and entire resort and the incredible team. Everyone made us feel special, especially the Ocean Club crew- especially Dakota. We can't wait to visit again- hopefully for a longer stay.

The new remodel has made this resort unbelievably elegant.
The staff is second to none and the food was prepared perfectly. Everyone was outstanding during my week's stay over the Christmas holiday.
Views are amazing.
We will definitely be returning again.

If you are planning a vacation to the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu you are going to be in a fabulous resort where you’ll be unlikely to want to leave the over thousand acre paradise. This isn’t an inexpensive resort but for the honeymooners and families that come here with their children, you can rest assured that everyone will have a fabulous vacation. We were a little shocked by the costs of eating in their restaurants but you can ( and we did) buy yogurt and other items at their Marketplace in the lobby. We found that our favorite dining spot was by the pools where the Sunset Bar provides a light menu of sandwiches, salads and hamburgers. The Sunset restaurant is also the perfect place to have an early dinner and watch the sunsets overlooking the beach. There are more elegant restaurants on the property and we found the various menus to offer an impressive selection of entrees. We loved their poke and fresh fish but expect to pay a premium price for virtually everything you’ll likely to order. The room accommodations were fabulous and every room had ocean views( while ours was called a pool view, we could still see the ocean from our balcony. The room service was superb with a caring and empathetic staff that only wanted us to be 100% happy. While we rented a car when we came from the airport, if you’re not likely to go sightseeing around the North Shore, I’d recommend reaching out to Evan in the hotel’s concierge “ Transportation” department. Evan can make arrangements for your car services to and from the hotel. My regret was not having this nugget of advice. The costs of renting and parking at the hotel will add around $1,000 plus to your trip but having Evan arrange your transportation will easily cost significantly less. The hotel also has Teslas that can be rented for trips if you’re inclined to leave the hotel. I took advantage of a turtle watching kayak outing that was well worth the price and there are many other activities available to the guests. And the night before leaving, I discovered that the hotel has washing machines & dryers located on the third floor, by their ice machines! I checked them out and decided to head home with clean clothes. The hotel also provides for dry cleaning if that’s what you need.While we came from New York, and it was a long trip, I would definitely consider returning sometime in the future.
