Kahuku Public & School LIbrary

Original home library was Kaneohe. Wasn't to stoked about the interactions. The staff at Kahuku are so informative what a breath of fresh air. Everyone was all smiles & good vibes!.

I had an experience like I’ve never had in a library. The librarian asked if I needed anything, she looked up all the authors in that genre and even went and picked them out and showed me the titles as I was carrying my restless keiki at the time. Above and beyond! (and I didn’t even get her name). Just thankful for people like that!

I love this library. I feel very supported by the staff and equipped with the many resources Hawaii library system offers. If I ever have questions I don’t hesitate to ask because these people are so kind. I love bringing my kids here!

Amazing library, very small but very close to the community. Through the state library system books can be requested from dozens of libraries throughout the state at no cost. Staff are very nice and helpful, always willing to help find something. They have a lot of info and records about the Kahuku community and it's history. Facility is well kept and clean.

Staff are nice and helpful. I wish they had more books on the Christianity . most of the books on the Christian shelf are catholic.

Great library. Plenny kine books. Small kine other things. Exactly as advertised, no beating around the bush. Other libraries should take note.

Probably the worst library I've been to. The staff are generally unwelcoming. I get that it is covid but why are they so insistent on removing one of the few safe spaces young people have in the community? I've seen several teenagers be asked to leave for staying too long. The atmosphere is extremely disappointing. I hope that soon they will set up covid compliant spaces for those who need a safe space away from home or need a place to sit and read.
